We were always happy, the hotel is great you can recommend it to anyone no commotion, but relaxation preferred. The staff is always friendly, it feels like home in a big family. One could despite slight communication problems with all maintained and with joke. Because everyone could speak a little german. Food was great, it was always sufficient as and also diverse, one bauchte also not seasoned. Rooms and the entire area was great. I can really recommend the hotel. It is the style and the cleanliness not the best hotel, because of the sea breezes partly was taken, but it is still very nice livable and comfortable.
Also very nice the palms in the pool area, therefore everyone in the sun as well as in the shade are.
Monkeys on the grounds are always available. Should, however, not fed, which i also find good, which but unfortunately not every visitors been complied with, so always be careful, since baboon on the grounds are.
But always good from guards secure and labled.
Unfortunately a ... pity, that the safe in the room must be paid extra and no mini fridge was available,
The beach is also wonderful. At the start though somewhat annoying because of the beach boys, but you have to stop thick skin have and just ignore them, if you are bothering. Then they left one also in peace. It is better also, first something in the sun to tan, and then to the beach halfway, the boys at the beach, that you have a bit longer there is ☺
My wife and i have the beachboys a tagessafari in tsavo east is very booked for a good price and were very satisfied. They are despite their intrusiveness always friendly.

In the all in all you can be satisfied. We just didn't so closely!
The biggest fault but is : at the front desk no one spoke german. Everything only with hands and feet. If not a pßaar younger guests would have been, the a as help in things english language, you are very nice lost.
The beach boys could more german than the staff in the hotel. read more

You get what you bay, 3.5 stars. We liked it from the first day to the last day. Friendly staff, no importunate animators, clean facilities, nice hotel guests ( international but not citizens of the russian federation ) lots of animals already in the hotel ( monkeys, prosimians, had ) clean rooms etc. If one which negative would call, the bathroom was a bit ' run-down' and the industrious gardener hide their waste sometimes simply in the bushes. The beach not cleaned (public ) and the food repeated after a week.
Tips:
The drinks are dangerous, you should be ... careful how much alcohol the first time drink.
Boys like for some annoying but if one talks with them and a small something buys, is the. In principle, from the first offer only 10% be ordered. Sounds little but one agrees then. Travel from 'max' then 30% cheaper than in the hotel booked. Trip shimba hills isn't recommendable. ( little animals, bad food) pens are a great gift for many of them. We recommend a ride with the matatusch (shared taxi). Just before the hotel and already the minibuses on. A recommendable hotel with a nice hotel. A small paradise, where the small monkeys for some joke concerns. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located at white sandy beach. Unfortunately at the beach no chairs since the ' beach boys' are very pushy. The result: a empfehlender holiday where you just to unwind. read more

The hotel has around 120 rooms, of which 24 rooms with direct sea view. The rooms are very well-kept and clean. The bathrooms are ' a little ' ageing. The hotel only offered all-inclusive. Internet access for a fee possible. The age of the guests was very mixed. It was very many nationalities, the german speaking are however in the majority. read more

In papilion lagoon reef we have ourselves all around comfortable!
All in the hotel were very hard and gave us a unforgotten vacation brings!
You shouldn't forget, the in Kenya is! Everything was very luxurious and sufficiently available.
The food was satisfactory delicious, certainly it would have been could have been more diverse and pepper and salt would the court not have been bad, but then spices one stop after.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and above all trusting!

If you wanted to go on one, you could at the front desk answer and any a small breakfast nehmen.
The prices in the hotel were moderate.
Altogether you get in Kenya as a tourist but quite financially stripped off, especially, if you consider, the monatsverdienst up to 20 Euro is, will the prices to be very high.
We had in the tourigebiet up to 3,50 Euro for a glass Cola pay, the locals no 50 cents.
Outside it was of course reasonably priced.
Altogether we can Kenya and the papillion lagoon reef absolutely recommend, it is for each, the on the carpet can be recommendable.
Children were also there, i would itself but recommend, since the parents constantly worry about, a right great kids club we didn't use. read more

Very friendly and cooperative staff, unfortunately no own hotel beach, therefore many boys as soon as you the beach enter, the location is ideal and the rooms are very clean, at the evening events missing unfortunately at the bar always tables and chairs, the food has itself within the 10 days only repeat but it was good, evenings has me always the sausage missing the food was hardly seasoned. The staff are very friendly, the rooms the upper class directly at the beach very nice. The shower could be improved. The food is very good and varied. Whoever wanted entertainment estimates is in the hotel in good hands. The loungers within the garden range are totally out of date and partly not more operational. During the beach strolls the beachboys, but that is for Kenya known and with some local words you may encounter. read more

The hotel convinced through its madly friendly staff and spacious, but practically equipped room. The baths are very spacious and every day clean with fresh towels.
It is a rather run to describe. The staff is always endeavors the desires of the guests to follow.
Contrary to our fear were only very few russian guests in the hotel. The types of people are rather at random to describe.

All-inclusive -hotel with 150 rooms, very compact size.
Clean rooms and other facilities. The standard double room wi-fi, tvs and refrigerator not included, aircon in the room is (if not appeal is lodged ) from 11 to 17 o'clock turned off.
Management is not kretikfähig, could be a problem.
The garden is nice with high trees and artificial bachlandschaft with several ponds. The ponds offer habitat for butterflies, however probably also for mosquitoes. The day disturb the mosquitoes did not. Otherwise see zimmerkritik.
The shuttle from the airport is late arriving flights quite long between 2 and 4 hour, because ... mombasse in the chronic traffic congestion sinks. Nachtlandungen are not possible, because the runway lighting has. Please with the transfer enough water drink. Nevertheless please do not from the transfer let this put you off. The hotel was not fully booked. You knew themselves (the staff and also partly the guests), which i found very pleasant. The guests were very mixed, both the age (around 25 to 75 years ), as well as from the nationalities (60% germans, rest Poland, indian, english, estonian, austrian, french and so on). The staff was always keen to help, to keep everything clean, which managed to do well. Somewhere sometimes crumbling in a building, the already somewhat older and with the humidity there, i think normal.
Internet is extra. It is a pure all inclusive hotel. From the reception ... to the pool you had to stairs to climb. Wheelchair-accessible and handicapped people the hotel is not optimally suitably. read more

Very nice hotel, but the beach boys a little bit annoying, but after the first week one got accustomed to it. If a safari or other go on excursions wish i can only Franco and Felix of weight safaris recommend. They are absolutely reliable and at all times helpful. The weight office across from the Diani sea resort
By the way the two collect personally at your hotel and is free of charge to the weight office and the prices are also okay, you have to but also a little bit bargain.

The hotel is beautiful designed and maintained. The staff are always nice and helpful. The 'row' with the monkeys is very funny. But be careful, it can be dangerous, if your will not get. The entertainment in the evening was up on the constant performance the masai really good. Excursions you can at the beachboys confidently book much cheaper than in the tour operator. They are however very annoying, so that one already not any desire more, to the beach to go. For swimming in the sea there are only a couple hours a day because of high and low ... tide. Besides is the beach not the nicest so no Karibik beach.
The price-for money. Was good. We have about 6 where. Booked in advance and 1300€ per person.
Food and drinks were reasonable and as a large selection available. read more
