We had a nice, large double room with a balcony and direct sea view. These rooms the mini bar (including daily refill), the tv (ZDF) and hairdryer included. The safe can be rented. The bathroom has an appealing size and was clean, is however a bit dated.

The breakfast and lunch (buffet) is at the pool-restaurant. The dinner (buffet), there was the restaurant (height reception) in the beautiful and romantic garden, or in the covered dining room. We found the variety and the quality the food very good. Once a week there is a kenyan evening.

The hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful. English spoke every/any staff, german, french and italian however only a few. Our room was always very clean. Of al our air conditioning system the spirit condiioner, it was within 4 hours repaired.

The entertainers were there, but very low key. On music during the day gottlob skipped it! The pool was always very clean and neat. At the beach it always seaweed, one more time and even less. What the baden directly in front of the hotel is concerned, you have to pay to the a lot of seagulls be careful (tip: bathing shoes!). On the lawn there were enough adjustable wooden pool chairs and shady palms. Every evening there was an idea (masai, acrobats, etc.) Followed by 'disco' until about 12:00 p. m..

The hotel has around 120 rooms, of which 24 rooms with direct sea view. The rooms are very well-kept and clean. The bathrooms are ' a little ' ageing. The hotel only offered all-inclusive. Internet access for a fee possible. The age of the guests was very mixed. It was very many nationalities, the german speaking are however in the majority.

The hotel complex is located directly on the beautiful beach in the south from the Diani Beach. The shopping center nakumat in ukunda is approximately 15 minutes away with the taxi or matatu. The temporal distance to the airport and Mombasa (center) is strongly of the day from (waiting period at the ferry!). Discos are in the immediate vicinity, however, take a taxi (security).

The rooms spacious, but functional decorated. We also for a room without tv, refrigerator and view (is probably against an extra charge to have). A safe is probably in every room integrated, costs however also surcharge, about 25 €/ 2 weeks. Air conditioning worked great, and has a sleep state shall be regarding the volume. The room was every day clean, tidy and nicely decorated. Also the bathroom with its high polish tiles was every day clean! Value for money is really good!

All meals are in buffet form arranged. As we both even love to cook, we have initially do not have particularly high expectations-we were taught better: Breakfast buffet: Fresh juice and fruits, different types of bread/pastries and meats, vegetables, cereals, omelettstation, partly also warm dishes and a sandwich toastie maker station. German rolls does not exist - but everyone should be clear, that one on vacation is and not at home. Lunch buffet by the pool: Some different main meals, it is actually always something there for everyone. Highlight : fresh and really delicious calamari and fresh salad. Evening buffet in the restaurant: Very delicious food. There were theme evenings, even at the kenyan evening was great. Every evening there was 1 a lavish prepared meat dish. The meat the chef carved. Highlight: barbecue buffet by the pool. Who at 35 degrees in the shade elaborate cakes, is wrong, however. There was a small cake buffet, for small hunger occasionally.

As mentioned above the entire staff members are very friendly, but not pushy. It was taken care of everything. One has simply the feeling all people there makes the work fun, despite 35 °c in the shade. There it with us no complaints whatsoever gave, we can deal with it no information.

Entertainment is available, however the vacation entertainers are not pushy. The following sports; water polo, aqua gym, beach volleyball, Boccia

The hotel convinced through its madly friendly staff and spacious, but practically equipped room. The baths are very spacious and every day clean with fresh towels. It is a rather run to describe. The staff is always endeavors the desires of the guests to follow. Contrary to our fear were only very few russian guests in the hotel. The types of people are rather at random to describe. There the entire area terraced is, one saw the gardener constantly at work.

The hotel is directly at the long sandy Diani Beach. The hotelpoolanlage with the garden around borders directly at the beach with a view of the open sea. The main street in front of the hotel there is not to hear, but very good, if you are short with the matatu (a type of taxi for 0,25 Euro/ per ride) to the supermarket nearby would like.

The standard double room was quite small but sufficient. It is missing a fridge. You can for 1,50 Euro per day rent. We had to insulin camps and the in the fridge at the front desk stored. The air conditioning normally by timer from 11 hours until 17 o'clock off. Who still in this period needs, should be clear. When we arrived, and no problems prepares. Was however a problem on arrival. Tv was as advertised not included in the standard double room. The windows consist of kippbaren glaslamellen and were not close. In the small but sufficient large bathroom is before a mosquito net. In the living room is missing however this network in front of the window. Mosquitoes can therefore into the room. The moskitonetzvorhang around the bed is not close and more to calm. Mosquitoes you can spray. At the front desk in the evenings before the meal request. The stops the whole night. Balcony with garden view and sidewise sea view was great. Doors please ensure, the mehrkatzen (monkeys) know as the door rising and find in seconds all sweets and fruit. The bugs are still cute.

Breakfast and lunch in the restaurant by the pool. The is pleasant airy. The restaurant for dinner is nearby the reception. Here you can sit but also on a terrace. So spreads both restaurants very pleasant. There is no standing heat. During dinner for mr. long pants required. This is also important. Frühstpücken and lunch, you can get in short pants, but not in bathing suits. Breakfast and lunch is very quiet music. Dinner by soft live music. Very pleasant. The all-inclusive offer was quite good. The selection was somewhat limited. But quality, taste and hygiene were great! The menus repeated after a week, did not disturb however. Every friday there was a bar-b-que. By the pool. Very pleasant. Meat very well. On the day, mehrkatzen (monkeys) in the restaurantgegend and steal sometimes bananas, cakes or sugar from the plates. Fanc i actually rather sweet and entertaining. Bottled water is not in bottles agefüllt. Whoever nevertheless would like must even from the glass in the bottle siphon. This is instruction from the management. Please do not the service staff overstrain.

The staff is very friendly. It is only in each case one bar opened, but always there where we needed. The hotel was not fully booked. So, we had to also did not have to wait. German of the staff are low to not available. But there were a lot of german speaking guests in the hotel - also who gladly helped. Please do not directly at the management shall apply, but always on the travel guide go. The handling of complaints is very extreme. Complaints with the general manager may mean, that you in writing to, to leave the hotel. The travel guide they immediately informed, immediate action to. Who these letter gets, should not panic and simply for their own travel guide go. The was daily locally. The hotel had to of course not to leave. Because of this management gives it from me here a devaluation. The service otherwise was good. If the owner is not present, is the service better.

Animation is active but not pushy. Volleyball, water polo and water aerobics offered daily and also adopted. But that didn't disturb me not participants not. Lessons swahili is offered. Everything free of charge. Beach chairs, cushions and hand towels were inclusive and were not fully booked hotel enough. You don't wait. Because of the high trees is no lack of shade. Overall peaceful atomsphere. It is really never noisy, anywhere. Who its beach towels not in the evening returns evening from the reception called and to return to. The loungers are on grass and on the hotel's property. The public beach is by the locals busy. You often approached. It is part of exercise in addition, the public beach alleini to stay. For small children there is a private planschpool in next to of the pool bar. Generally the pool clean. There are already times leaves from the large ficus tree into the water. But it didn't bother us.

All-inclusive -hotel with 150 rooms, very compact size. Clean rooms and other facilities. The standard double room wi-fi, tvs and refrigerator not included, aircon in the room is (if not appeal is lodged ) from 11 to 17 o'clock turned off. Management is not kretikfähig, could be a problem. The garden is nice with high trees and artificial bachlandschaft with several ponds. The ponds offer habitat for butterflies, however probably also for mosquitoes. The day disturb the mosquitoes did not. Otherwise see zimmerkritik. The shuttle from the airport is late arriving flights quite long between 2 and 4 hour, because mombasse in the chronic traffic congestion sinks. Nachtlandungen are not possible, because the runway lighting has. Please with the transfer enough water drink. Nevertheless please do not from the transfer let this put you off. The transfer itself was also quite interesting, because the hustle and bustle of everyday life in Kenya from bus watch and the ferry, you have to take on, is at least the first time an experience.

Hotel lies directly at the beach. The beach was an easy walk. In the sea leftovers from coral, in particular the bathing at low tide limit. Our budget room was practically furnished. The wardrobe is huge, the safe enough for all documents and the other stuff. Our bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large enough. A hair dryer was available. In the room there was a fan and an airco. Satellite television and refrigerator were not available, we have however also not miss anything. The telephone we for the waking service used, whatever without any problems worked well. Everything was always clean. In the bath should one not so exactly the joints look at. After a few years and the humidity on site, this is not more gloomywhite are.

There were 2 restaurants. In the upper was the dinner taken, except on friday the barbecue. The was there as well as all other meals in the lower by the pool. The food has us always tasted good. There was in the evening a small selection at dishes typical of the country, the rest was more european, sometimes indian. Problems with the stomach we had no. With the drinks we had to first experiment, as the wine and some local soft drinks and liquor not so agreed. But the bartender also times gladly own creations mixed. But also most of the cocktails were good. Lightcola gave it not and also no ice cream. Al we in the supermarket were, we understood why. The ice cream is simply very expensive and lightcola is almost no available.

The staff is brilliant! Always friendly and nice (even without giving any tip). We have all close to our hearts and also from many adopted. If there were problems (our drain in the sink did not close properly), it was efficiently (with us in the course of the afternoon). English there everyone speaks, some more or less german and french. The rooms were always clean. For children the hotel i find less suitable. There was no child animation and the playing ground there looks somewhat dreary.

The pool was always clean. Constantly were the sheets, the now fallen out fished. The animation was always tried hard. Even with the watch you had fun. When my husband times the only was, the Volleyball to play wanted, have the entertainers with him 2 against 2 played. Use of the fitness room costs money. Pool chairs there was only by the pool (partly with a view of the beach), not at the beach. Umbrellas were not, but there were always enough shade because of the palm trees. The beach is public. The seaweed is not removed. Stank not when we were there. At high tide without any problems without shoes into the water to the reef. At low tide, you could tentatively on the reef along run and for example the sea urchins to look at.

The hotel was not fully booked. You knew themselves (the staff and also partly the guests), which i found very pleasant. The guests were very mixed, both the age (around 25 to 75 years ), as well as from the nationalities (60% germans, rest Poland, indian, english, estonian, austrian, french and so on). The staff was always keen to help, to keep everything clean, which managed to do well. Somewhere sometimes crumbling in a building, the already somewhat older and with the humidity there, i think normal. Internet is extra. It is a pure all inclusive hotel. From the reception to the pool you had to stairs to climb. Wheelchair-accessible and handicapped people the hotel is not optimally suitably.

The beach was directly from the hotel over a few steps distance. Distance to the airport about 30 kilometer that you take the ferry and Mombasa drive to, you can get a precise time do not. We have to the hotel about 1,5 hours used, to the airport it was 1 hour. Souvenirs can be in the hotel or at the beach directly next to the hotel buy. We were in this lane next to the hotel dare and also bought something. The shakatak (disco) is about 3 kilometers away. Taxis are available at the hotel ready. We have in the evenings always in the hotel anyway. Matatus drive on the street right on the hotel.

The rooms were very large. We traveled with a child. Our daughter had a separate room for, with a task be separated could. They even had their own bathroom. The rooms are functionally furnished. There was no tv yet mini bar, but we knew that beforehand and didn't find it bad. We could both not used. Air conditioning and ceiling fan were available and functional. A moskitonetzt you should definitely carry forward. There is locally one, this is however had holes in them. We had our own net with, there are already for 30 Euro for a double bed and is recommendable. The cleaning of the rooms was african proportions. The room boy gave a lot of effort to keep everything clean, eas him however failed. There was here and there some schmutzstellen in the room, like for instance the under the bed not washed... In summary we could however be overlooked, since the total package simply been correct and that we are aware of, that we in Afrika are. Therefore I will now also not every schmutzstelle down. Look at, as the local people life, that you can also tolerate.

We really liked the food and there was something there for everyone. After a week repeated the food. We liked it nevertheless tasted and we became always full. Food you should the courts, since security the monkeys pass.

The staff were always friendly, always willing to help and courteous. It was nothing fake and very warm. We felt very good. Some speak German at the English. Internet cost circa 3 Euro for 30 minutes The safe is for a fee circa 17 Euro for 2 weeks

We really liked the entertainment, the water aerobics I can only recommend. Most are the funnybone trained :-) you want to however not the entertainment participate, this is not a problem and you will be without Überredungsversuche left alone. During the walk on the beach the speakers from danebenliegendem baobab hear, you were in the papillon at no time bothered me. Chairs were always sufficient available. The pool boys found the loungers there, where you like me, brought a cushion and one got a towel. Enough shade donated the cocusnusspalmen. Showers were by the pool available. The pool was clean and tidy

The hotel is wonderful gartenähnlich designed and is located directly at the beach. The rooms are in the african style. We really enjoyed the vacation a lot and we will auf jeden fall come back. I stayed here in advance some negative reviews read us can only say, you drive to Afrika and not to Dubai. If you this is aware, has a wonderful vacation and learns many nice people know. In the hotel were our being lots of young people too many German, some English and some french.

The hotel is directly at the beach, there are just 4 steps and already can one the long white sandy beach or on the waves jump. Yes there is, the beachboys. In the first three days annoy you really beautiful, wish you a trip make, sell something, or just their life stories. They are a step and force. One has two possibilities, either one remains consistent and the three days or you can buy with a a small something ( no go on excursions) then a the other also in peace. From the fourth day we had our peace, we were warmly greeted, changed three phrases and that was it than. I have from this time nice people met, which under the poverty line and shower bath, socks and clothes, even for children are very grateful.

What can you say! Big enough and everything in it, that you need. Even the tv we didn't miss anything. One or another furniture was already a bit old, but you can live with that! The room boys work very conscientious!

It is only 2 restaurants. Breakfast, lunch and friday the barbecue always on restaurant by the pool. Dinner (except for friday) always in the restaurant next to the reception. The dishes were throughout more delicious. We had for the first time no health problem, what for the cleanliness and hygiene speaks.

Beach simply hammer, the pool fits great in the complex a and forms the heart of the garden. Loungers in sufficient available. Are also regularly waited! Altogether a cool location! The animation was as usual day for day the same, however for us non-participants fortunately very discreet. :-)

The papillon lagoon reef is a rather small hotel, which was already a few days on the embossment. Here and there you can tell the of course, the architectural style and the beautiful garden give the hotel however a charm, which we every day on the new killing were. Especially lives the complex also of the people, the work. We have never a bad tempered or unfriendly staff, everything was always to our well done. The types of people are both the age, as well as what the nationalities subject well mixed. With German and English you got along fine. It is a pure all inclusive complex.

There must be 6 suns-alone the beach is for this occasion enough! Simply superb! Apart from that everything is very easy with the matatu (who likes it) or a taxi to reach. Nakumatt and other supermarkets, bank, shopping center! Everything in walking distance! On foot at the beach along you both to the right, as well as to the left beach bars.
