Very nice hotel right next to the fair. We were for the musical and the lies exactly opposite - perfect! We didn't use it as we room only booked. Garage is not included and costs a night 20 friday Tram connections very good, free use public transportation in the city. Although the hotel right next to the street is it was with the window closed very quiet, also from other guests we heard nothing (no doors, steps, water sound). read more

Clean business hotel, but the rent of knonferenzräume as expected was relatively expensive. Breakfast could be better, is however enough. Links to the bathroom basel train station is good. read more

We booked through Groupon Germany a voucher for 2 people acquired. 3 days stay with breakfast buffet, the more than enough and well stocked. A 4-course menu included 1 bottle of wine.
The menu left nothing to be desired, and was delicious and apetizingly arranged. In addition still baselpaket (free tram on the whole tarifgebiet ) and free parking. read more

A very pleasant house with super friendly (!) staff and a great, varied breakfast buffet. Very central and ideal location for a city trip. The tram stop is within walking distance 2 minutes away. Our room (3. top floor) was big enough and very (!) clean, also the hallways on this level made a neat (. And renovated) impression. We would come back any time in this Dorint-city hotel in Basel stay. For sensitive Ears ( noise from the street) the rear room recommended.
Instruction for walks/ Jogger: very nice (!) walk in about 1.3 kilometer distance ( Wiesendammpromenade ... ). read more

A beautiful business hotel, in which you but also stay, if you are on a city trip, as we have. Everything clean, beautiful bathroom, everything was not huge, but was OK. Mini bar we had not in the room, but also that is not so important. The staff at reception and at breakfast was friendly, the choice of breakfast was mixed ( cakes, muesli, sausage surface, cheese, egg cooked, scrambled egg, fruit, Yogurts, tea selection, coffee, jams and nutella. Something for everyone). In the area the bad parking, that is why we have the underground car park used (20 Franks ... per 24 hours). We had by the way the hotel on a Jochen Swiss-Gift Certificate. In any case a hotel, that we recommend can! read more

We have selected the Dorint as it is nearby the fair is. The tram station is easy to reach and on foot there are about about 5 to 8 minutes the main exhibition entrance. The hotel is very chic with today's standards, the rooms are rather small but not so, that you felt uneasy. Bed very comfortable and bathroom with beautiful shower. At the front desk they gave us welcomed in a friendly manner and to tell us about everything informed. Only the breakfast buffet we found for 26-a bit. Overpriced since rather small kept and alternatives it has nearby ... unfortunately no options for shopping unless you want to in A other restaurant for breakfast. read more

In the whole hotel absolute ban on smoking. Internet connection in the room, price unfortunately not known. Good bus- and easy access to the tram stop in immediate proximity. The food could have been better, the prices in the restaurant are also very expensive. read more

From the hotel to the fair centre is within walking distance, the tram with easy access to the centre and the old town. The room was standard, unfortunately no mini bar or safe. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast wide. Underground garage available. read more

Good business hotel in ideal location at the fair. In shortest time is one of the exhibition halls and in 3 minutes at the train station. Also to the city of the distance is not far. By Messelage the hotel is less attractive for a private trip (little attractive environment). Price is OK although generally high standard in Switzerland. read more

Small room, small breakfast, no sauna, no fitness room! The hotel is located in the centre of the exhibition of Basel. Outside of the one requires fair prices, the 5 star level, offers a service, the 3-star hotel an often better. I had a Superior room, which I have not even put my suitcase reasonable to walk without danger, that I bags stolpere.HCLFHLHCLFHLLunch at the buffet, Oh well.HCLFHLHCLFHLDuck chopped-more than dry, dead!HCLFHLThe rice was also extra trocken (total dry)! The salad buffet was quite okay, also the dessert. The main course with the side dishes (vegetables was frozen ... and it was cooked for too long) was not worth the money.HCLFHLHCLFHLAll in all.
