Queue before breakfast and dinner and then wait for the lack of plates and mugs, food tasted on a cafeteria level; of 6 elevators functioning maximum 4 (about 1000 guests), whole facility in the restaurants and at the pool is old, run-down and run down; rooms are clean, but the charm a garage, the staff are friendly, helpful and tried hard, but the foundation is old and with the eröffnungsniveau of 1988 stand remained and therefore a tight not -recommendation. read more

This hotel has us very disappointed. It is quite run down ( musty, dark hallways, all in the style of the 80., in the lounge plastic chairs). Our room was unbearably loud, especially at the weekend. Cleanliness was also not very thorough. The food has not good, especially the breakfast. Every day the same 'choice', for example jams from unappetizing riesenschüsseln with sticky spoons. read more

To without any problems 2 experienced room changing we were very satisfied. We can also about the food 't complain. From the staff was always nachgelegtt, it was everything available, what you from a buffet expected. The packed lunches were plentiful, which is very rare. The coffee in the hotel tasted great, nice strong, evenings we often sat with a cocktail (partly included) in the 'ambassador lounge'. We were always very attentive and friendly served.
From the guide from FTI and the guest relations manager of the hotel we received many tips for excursions, since we Malta still did not ... know. There is still some desired, what we the next time will see. read more

The first impression from the hotel is grand, but at the latest for the food is then past. We are actually not such naggers, but 2a three stars, not 4. sorry!
The hotel is central for excursions. In front of the hotel buses to the beach and to valletta. Nearby there was also a central bus station, from where you everywhere cheap to go. The island is beautiful, particularly the beach 'golden Bay' was nice and quiet-)!
The hotel itself is to stay ok, if you definitely not on four stars period! The food is unfortunately ( especially for ... breakfast) not enjoyable:-(!
Coffee was not done, we have luckily soluble from at home forward, as we coffee need. With milk from the supermarket is the coffee not drinkable!
We have all restaurants try, in the morning and evenings. If you don't like English breakfast is, should the 'healthy breakfast' try, was a bit better (but don't be surprised, if after 4 bananas, the bananas out, or no sharp knife to oranges cut, anywhere are. ) The serviererinnen could every time not helpful \u263a.
My son only from toast and Nutella fed, unfortunately.
Evenings I would the it it-tokk, comes restaurant ( no variation for the food, however therefor not so fully) recommend. Time out food is also not bad. And after vacation you have also taken-)!
The chambermaid was very nice and well cleaned.
The animation is evenings very loud and is until 24:00 o'clock. The needs getting used to;-). First night we can't sleep, afterwards we after program addressed. Were outside something to drink and are only returned, if we knew, it is now past-)! read more

The entrance area is, like the rest of the entire hotel very dirty. The staff are all very unfriendly, at the front desk revolves the staff to. Hopefully speaks me no hotel guest at. The service to 90% with trainees covered, which are only little to not at all trained. The whole hotel is very noisy. The entertainment over Maria and Josef fun, and whole evening long. On the way there was the general toilet with extremities on the wall dirty - for the return trip I have exactly the same dirt found. Cigarette butts are everywhere. The glasses are ... very dirty. The tables not a only times wiped. It is located for breakfast the fries with ketchup from the night before on the floor. In the pool area beach chairs also sausage ( however older) under the tables. read more

We were there for 13 days in this hotel. It is really a bit outdated already (1988), but it is everywhere
Very well cleaned and repaired. There is varied Variations for the food, that of course after about a week noticeably repeated, or similar, but that remains after 13 days also not from. Animation repeated about after a week, but the entertainers put in a lot of effort. The waiters are very fast and very attentive. As regards the location the hotel lies very conveniently located. The bus station is right in front of the door and the whole island ... with the buses. Shops are also enough available. All in all a very nice holiday. read more

We felt in the hotel comfortable. The location is good, you can directly through the hotel under the street forth at the pool. Also on the' beach'. It is located on of nature, the beach is on Malta just different. Unfortunately somewhat difficult into the water to come. But now in September great temperature and a great -quality of the water. Absolutely clear and clean. The compensated already. Ideal for snorkeling.
Directly in front of the hotel is the bus station. For little money ( 2,60 Euro per persons) the whole day you can all bus lines on the ... whole island use. One drives about 1 hour to to Valetta. Also one is evenings after about 15 minutes hike ( is good after eating.) in the center of Qawra. Staff always nice, accommodating and helpful. If you need it-you can always find someone who spoke German. Food was good and diverse. Pleasant the many different restaurants. Also by the pool for the purposes of a small snacks more than enough. Room always clean, also the hotel altogether. Partially surely in need of renovation.
As a hotel review is, I don't need over Malta itself was nothing to write - the island you should have seen! read more

The location is brilliant. The rooms need better equipped and renovated, everything is very outdated. The pool area is very small and fully posed with many loungers. The food is okay,
It is abundant, but lack a little variety. Recommendable is the Itokk restaurant of the hotel.
The hotel is good if you the whole day traveling, to discover the island. Malta is worth a trip. read more

Seashells at suncrest hotel is a relatively large hotel with over 450 rooms, the form of a large 'E' has. The hotel is to the sea -facing offers a wonderful view. Between hotel and the very large and beautiful pool area runs a street, but what you definitely not cross, because the hotel a practical underpass offers. In the basement there is a souvenir shop and a spa -, massage- and spa area attached.
The hotel is very extensive and offers 4 different dining rooms at. The ' le Pavillon' is the largest and is located nearby the lobby ( ... there was also the possibility on a terrace outside to the food). Then there is still the most beautiful equipped dining room 'it it-tokk, comes', the somewhat small is. ( there was another choice of meals, the mainly the maltese kitchen the focus had. As further possibilities there were the pool bar 'sun and turf', where the lunch or in the evening when reservation because of larger question on barbeccue could participate. The last possibility offered in the basement before the underpass, where you can get a sandwich -, as well as salad bar found, from 7-23:30 hours supplies and it was given the hot outside temperature now and then sometimes pleasant had.
We had' all inclusive' and were with our choice also afterwards satisfied. The prices are a moderate, but through the mandatory bracelet one is from lead from cash and constant pay individual drinks, especially during the day by the pool exempt. The selection of drinks is very plentiful and various hauscocktails in the all inclusive-offer' included, so that this performance surcharge daily paid power. Who only half or full board, but can in any case on the ground inclusive services to book.
The cleanliness we as changeable feast, but for a southern country was usual and acceptable.
The rooms are with air-conditioning and additional ceiling fan, which we for September still very high temperatures very much appreciated. The in the room also peel free mini fridge worked unfortunately not more so as requested.
The guest structure in the hotel ranges from child until retirement age. Next to couples are also many families, groups and school classes to find. For each age group here is what. The too many slovak animation team was every effort for a varied entertainment from the morning until the evening. Only knowledge of German stayed here little available. English helped always farther. The nationalities were very mixed. Next to the numerically the most british are also lots of spaniards, italians, austrians and German tourist to be met.
The most negative in the hotel was in our opinion the fahrstuhlanlage. According to the size of the hotel stayed here six elevators available. The functionality but it was very poor. The waiting times were because of our accommodation in the 5th floor often annoying, even if elevators, although several in the 6. or 7th floor were without apparent reason without stop to us vorrüberfuhren. Furthermore lacked some snaps in the elevators and the displays were in many cases broken. read more

The specified stars are not justified. No vierstern hotel otherwise dreistern hotel, in need of renovation. The food was very good. The hotel is only for overnight accommodation recommendable. Access to the sea is very rocky. And the window is very small. Value for money is okay. The staff were brilliant. And again the hotel in itself is a bit worn out, needs a renovation. read more

Good 3 stars hotel, no four-star standard

The hotel accommodates 400 room on 7 floors. Some rooms have been renovated and therefore comfortable, other unfortunately somewhat dated and run-down. There are 3 new elevators (the unfortunately on the journey don't stop, but after rufreihenfolge incline, so very long waiting periods) and 3 very old elevators which it fear and anxiety are making to drive (missing buttons, creepy noise, broken displays) but quickly.
The pool is very nice and big (although occasionally overly chlorinated, be careful with children!), the entertainment very nice and creative, every evening there was program ( time concerts, times animation shows). The cleanliness in ... the hotel in general leaves unfortunately in many places to be desired, definitely no four-star standard.
Breakfast is in our opinion very poor quality, it is only instant-coffee and the 'healthy breakfast' added canned fruit - disappointed but very if you a four-star hotel booked and freshly squeezed orange juice ( here only thin dispenser juice) and freshly prepared omelet is accustomed. The dinner is for this much better ( there are even different than for breakfast tablecloths on the tables). Recommendable is especially the it it-tokk, comes restaurant with maltesicher kitchen, unfortunately is the food here however too hot on the buffet presented, so that especially meat until the drought weitergart. The staff are however with all meal times very overburdened, so, some dishes were already times (at the barbecue at the beach bar) very long all before they refilled.
The cleaning of the room varies greatly, times were every day towels were changed even if this not at all necessary would have been, at another day whereas was after we had the dirty bed sheets deducted had to point out that we after 10 days gladly new if, this changed, but not the pillow cases (we would probably obviously also have to deduct). Praising to mention is, that there is a German speaking guest service specifies the address ( however also there was no real coffee instead of instant-coffee get).
The area of the hotel is okay, right at the waterfront and many English pubs directly in the area. Furthermore friday and saturday a club (the reflections ) right at the hotel and not far away a Salsa club (the fuego). You should however if you a rental car has, don't right on the main street guest parking, us during the night a presumably drunk drivers against our parkendes car risks, what the last day of vacation sound ruined ( but of course the hotel nothing). read more

Great hotel, but loud with a view of the sea

The hotel has us super fallen. The rooms were very spacious. And, although we while and therefore no balcony had, was that we didn't miss anything. Because we all inclusive had, we were evening anyway on the terrace and during the day usually on the way. The window was with a view of the sea and rooms very clean. With small fridge equipped. The food was great. 3 restaurants, it was always something for everyone. A disadvantage the hotel has but if you room with a view of the sea has, it is outside extremely loud at nights. With window ... to sleep was only from o'clock at night, because then the traffic stopped. From o'clock began the traffic however again a. Itself with closed windows it was very loud, although we on the 5th floor were. At the weekend blasting extreme noise from the hoteldienern disco top. What a either from the start interfere with or at least at night if you from the disco returns. The hotel we would again, but then on the nice view and room facing the land side. Incidentally, the barbecue restaurant on the terrace with a view of the sea really great. Reservation is necessary. Stairs at the hotel into the sea perhaps one should rather cautiously use, because the railing is broken and the stairs were very slippery. The pool is but also ok. read more
