All in all a very pleasant and quiet jahresauftakt. The food was very good. The service the staff was remarkably attentive without being intrusive. The sauna area is very nice, only drawback: it is incomprehensible why the relaxation room right beside the technique area is, unfortunately for not a überhörbares'background buzz' makes. Restaurant really makes an effort the high prices of the food and drinks to justify. The service is very nice, but it is not authentic and friendliness is just 'too much'. We were with friends a christmas stay at this hotel. Here everything suited. From the check-in to check out no criticisms. The competence and friendliness of the staff in all areas you can especially emphasize. Everything was nicely decorated, the premises were warm, whether room, bathroom or guest rooms and hallways. It was a pleasant and cosy atmosphere. The house is very clean in all areas. The spa area for a romantic hotel more than appealing. What especially praise is, is the really excellent cuisine. The dinner has always been a 3-course menu. All meals, from the greeting from of ... the kitchen to the dessert left the geschmacksnüstern applaud. Simply brilliant! Also the breakfast was great. The pleasant atmosphere with direct view of the christmas market made the whole more than perfect. The only slight drawback, if you as such should call, was the lack of a reasonable schrankablage. That means, you could in our room the clothes just hang up. All other parts we put on the sofa from. This would be perhaps a small dresser need to be upgraded. But this is probably as a suggestion to look at. Our summary: everything was very nice, with much attention to detail and the price/performance is more than reasonable. Very recommendable, kitchen fantastic and the spa area with three saunas very clean and well equipped. Located a short distance from the wonderful monastery park and many wonderful half-timbered houses, the short break very enjoyed and will definitely come again. This hotel, the once a postkutschenhaus was, has a unique charm. Many bars, slanted walls and creaky floors give it a special flair! We felt immediately. The check in was quick and friendly. Our room (114) had a separate seating area with a flat screen -tv, bedroom with double bed (also with flat -tv), a bathroom with shower and 2 washbasin and a separate toilet. Only took some getting used to, that the toilet no washbasin gave, so that you to wash your hands through the bedroom in the bathroom had. However also not bad-you get used to it. The ... wellness area is furnished to a high standard. An indoor pool, a small bio -sauna, a steam bath and a finnish sauna, relax area with water beds and a normal relax area - everything available. We had the wellness area almost just for us, which of course very pleasant was. The food as a part of the half board was top class. The dinner started with fresh Baguette, herbal butter and tomatenbutter. As greeting from of the kitchen we could schirmps with avocado relish. With a very delicious potatoe was much more. My main course consisted of pork/ schweinebäckchen (first for me, as i never dare, to try) with wirsingkraut and potatoes. The crowning conclusion was a schokomousse, vanilla ice cream, mango and macadamiakrokant. Simply to reinkien! We hope, that our pleasant service the praise goes to the chef had passed?! The breakfast was also excellent. There was really everything that you could wish for! The beverage prices are human. We were unfortunately only for one night in this hotel. It has me however so good, that we in the december just go back. My conclusion: if you're looking for a great hotel, friendly employee and excellent cuisine sets is right at home here! read more

This hotel I can recommend with a clear conscience. The kitchen is excellent, the service very attentive and very friendly. Everything was comfortably furnished and the decoration very tasteful.
