The sun star Parkhotel was only in the summer 2011 newly renovated.
The service is good, only in the bar was the service from and overstrained. Unfortunately missing the service in the bowling alley completely. Here the guest is the beverages yourself. It does not!
The sauna must extra be paid.
The location of the hotel is not quite so happy. As skiers one is on the hotel bus reliant, which however worked perfectly.

The greetings in the sun star was friendly, as well as the entire service. The sun star than building something getting old, which because of its size rather negative works. The room velvet bathroom was a classic 4-star hotel-the breakfast buffet. The wellness area however is not anymore and the extra charge not worth it. A small Trouble we experienced furthermore in the end: the way back by car on the main street is not indicated. Prompt we landed on a iced over street and came only tight back up to the village. read more

The hotel is quite large, and probably one of largest in Arosa in good condition. The guests are too many from Switzerland and Germany, some families with children.
the ski pass is included, as well as the indoor pool and the hotel's own shuttle bus to the train station or valley station the white horn-gondola.

As a couple have we us at the end of the winter season in a quiet and friendly atmosphere of the sunstar hotel felt very comfortable and welcome. Especially the phenomenal breakfast buffet has fallen us very. The room was rather small, but very clean and with many small loving as gestures and information provided. Actually a good hotel. Actually. But it is definitely in the years come. The carpets in the bar and in the dining room are old and have us at the 70-he remembered years. Sunstar Arosa is a souls the loose, broken Reno fourth and run 60er years from the hotel. The decor has consistently indifference and dinginess from.
Room: on the balcony of our room were 334 cigarette butts. In the bathroom it along the wall in the tub and hair from the previous guests. The ventilation in the bath functioned not. The room decor reminded me of a old people's home than a four star hotel. The channels on the TV offer is sparse. No safe. (Swisscom Hotspot) at least wi-fi. The drinks from the mini bar (water, coke, beer) are included ... in the room rate.
Food: we had booked half board, but because of the four course menu (boring dozen kitchen) on the pass each night. With the morning meal you had to wait a long time, until you get a waiter could order a coffee. The breakfast buffet is OK. From the omelet we do; it is produced in a grill and is more of a compact scrambled eggs. In the afternoon it is nothing except coffee and cake and the also only after ten minute wait and complaint at the reception.
Public areas: the restaurant from the bar, it smells of smoke in the (the glass walls to the separate fumoir seem to be not close). Different carpets, curtains and furniture series show, as in the past, only a little and always only minimal investment and renovated is. With something dark wood try restaurant and bar, and a rustic atmosphere to make; the attempt fails, and the result is Biederkeit and discretion.
Spa: the SpA is the newest part of the hotel. The bio sauna is good. The steam room is the probably most sterile, most boring and cheapest, the largest I have seen: sitting in a white, bright lighted room with much to plastic floor, plastic walls and plastic tablecloth. Ugly, but functional.
Staff: they spoke German, German. The staff are friendly and correct. But everything took something long. The staff, which cleans the room, either is found to little or controlled.
Conclusion: four stars only on the paper has the sunstar comfortable and to meet the prices. The hotel has a maximum of two star quality. The substance of the hotel is really bad (creaking floors, one and only more closely and slow elevator in the garage). Tear is probably the only solution. read more

The hotel is a nice hotel sunstar, it is on the very edge. The hotel bus runs every half hour to the ski lift. In the village you can in about five minutes to walk. Our room was beautiful and clean. Towels and bed sheets were changed every day on request. The restaurant was rustic, comfortably furnished. The food and the service have nothing left. The swimming pool is open from seven until 21 hours, the sauna of 15 to 21 hours. There you can relax after a day on the slopes very good. We have enjoyed the days in ... Arosa very much and would come at anytime again. read more

For us everything was good, other descriptions the time not enough for me. The hotel bus made check in and check out easy. The swimming pool with the view of the mountains is fantastic. Have we not use the other spa services. read more

We all had a very great pleasure at the great rooms and had us also immediately felt good. All deals for example with the Kinderbettli etc. have been met or have been provided. All the staff were always helpful at all levels and very friendly. The personal welcome the agreement has us very impressed.
Only the fireplace vis ã vis the bar should be subject to a detailed examination at best. Perhaps it was also only an error, at least we were on a very strong smoky evening. Also we had on our dining Zuggefühl 'a'. Here is a link ... at best.
We will choose again next winter a sunstar hotel, which is still not decided.

The breakfast is excellent and varied. Dinner is a large room for improvement would be available. The Swiss evening with Swiss specialties was not the best. Staff knows the part of the local specialties in the field of food and drink hard. The size of the pool is great. As you can also to swim. Bathrobes and bathing shoes are available. The hotel has influenced me sunstar Arosa presses for the cleanliness, organization and friendliness.
I spent three times short stays in the abovementioned hotel and I will certainly go again.
Also its restaurant offers fine cuisine at a good price.
The leisure activities outside of the hotel honestly many, of the hiking and skiing.

Our short holiday in sunstar Parkhotel Arosa have fallen in the whole family very well. The staff was always very friendly and welcoming... To make you feel welcome.
