Very comfortable and spotlessly clean apartments with a beautiful setting in the Royal service area and the lobby. Also the 5 à la carte restaurants are both the style and very tastefully decorated. The food was in all restaurants the host country was very good. Fish and lungustenliebhaber without charge to your bill in full. Also worth mentioning is the friendly warmth of the entire staff. The assistant manager food and beverages Carlos speaks 4 languages and is very spoke guests. The 3 beaches in the Royal service area are very quiet and clean, ideal for those seeking relaxation. Very ... nice and pleasant i found the beach of the beach bar. Also here is particularly good and friendly service from julio and arnaldi to be highlighted, the relentless your guests with cocktails, sandwiches, and small fruchtstäbchen. This hotel is for guests, who seek tranquility and not from the resort out to. It is not the ' true ' Cuba. For a short holiday after a trip it is good. The pool is relatively small for such a large area and the service for the beach chairs at the beach is also good. read hotel review

    As in the description there were 3 bays. The main beach is in about 12 minutes' maze ' it closes itself still 2 Sol hotels. Unfortunately, the section for the paradisus very small. The beach chairs and umbrellas are so closely as Arenal in july. The area is very rocky. (bathing shoes) quiet it is behind the sailboats. The 2. the beach is very romantic and tropical trees. Canada is only three to four hours' flight from Cuba and in the same time zone. In Canada rule almost the same climatic conditions as in Germany. It is Cuba for sun-hungry canadian very attractive.     Our suite was about 45 square meter large and to the back garden. The furniture was good. A 220 - volt outlet and a telephone were available. There was a tv with lots of channels (the only german channels was the 'Deutsche Welle'). The mini bar was replenished every day. This also applies to the coffee in the little coffee maker. There was a bathtub and a bidet. The bathroom was spatially from the sink separated. The bathroom was large and clean.

    There was a disco, which we did not visit however. The evening program was very varied. Beach chairs were sufficiently available.     The hotel is right on the beach. The airport is about 50 kilometer away in holguin. That is the next convenient location. Shopping possibilities were in the hotel shop. The entertainment program in the hotel was varied. Walking is a neighboring hotel, otherwise there is no infrastructure in the vicinity. There is once per day the possibility, with the bus fee to holguin and get back. About three times a day with a bus you have to pay to a restaurant and back.

Hotel in general: The hotel is located in direct location on a white sandy beach, with partly rocky upstream sections. The Areal has a spacious and super well-kept garden area. The driving directions to the hotel, which was at the Playa Esmeralda is, is about 50 kilometer from the airport (1 1/4 hours with the car and the eingerechneten street conditions) away. After guardalavaca and its sandy beach (highly recommended) are it about 10 minutes. The hotel hop on hop off buses from, 5 cuc per person., it is recommended also for excursions on your own, about the staff at ... the entrance of the hotel a taxi to take, in the immediate vicinity is possible. With taxis or horse-drawn carriages the best in advance the fare clarify, the fragmented speak german.     You must know, that this hotel is the most suitable for those seeking peace. As i said, the directions of the Playa esmerlada the hotel is rustic. The next larger city is guardalavaca 8 kilometer away. You could also with the taxi without further a small tainodorf visit, especially for tourists, it is this on your own to visit, that works then much more authentic. Shopping possibilities are for cuban standards the hotel outside of the hotel is hardly to nothing within walking distance. For excursions to Havanna applied on the best by plane from holgiun to book, after Santiago de Cuba you have to take the bus about 3-4 hours to complete. You can relax in the hotel a car/scooter rent with the necessary conditions, but we did not do this due to the road conditions, and limited linguistic knowledge, if something happens. The relatively large area has rooms in different buildings. The junior suites are in two-story buildings with 16 units accommodated, while it also walk in bungalows with shower and hammock is (junior suites deluxe). The hotel also features a royal area. There was very little german. The age structure was multicolored mixed. Wi-fi is available and works best in the lobby near the pc area in which the internet is paid. One hour cost 4.50 cuc.     The rooms are large and really typical and tasted good. The mattresses from the bed were very good. Storage space was plentiful. The biggest downside of the room is the bathroom. This has, in my opinion, just 3 stars. But you have to the management on, that the problem recognized, because in two buildings, the renovations on full blast. Outside the bathroom there was a room with a large vanity and a huge mirrored wardrobe with safe. This area is still better in order. Plus everything was perfectly cleaned every day. The air conditioning worked great and it was also pretty quiet. The lowest level was enough here from. The minibar was daily with two cans Cola, i'd like two cans lemonade (similar Fanta and Sprite) i'd like two cans beer and water filled. The balcony was very spacious and the chairs comfortable.     The service in the hotel we found very good, with small exceptions. Especially we were delighted by our reinigungswunder yisell, the us each day a spotless lite rooms at.     The pool we did during our stay didn't use it, as we prefer the sea. There was the pool of the english guests, including the swim up bar was hijacked. The hotel is about 1,5 hour away by train from the airport. The hotel is very big, consists of many houses, by the rooms (8 parties per house) and has 2 floors and is wide-ranging.     The hotel is directly at the beach, a beautiful bay. The next town guardalavaca is about 5 kilometers away. Different excursions were offered (travel to Havanna on 3 days, go to Santiago de Cuba, on 2 days, but also trips, such as swimming with the dolphins, quad tours and many more) the hotel has a excellent entertainment, which we really really liked. It is neither intrusive, too much. If you want to take part, can do so. Every evening there was live music (violin, piano, guitar) live bands with cuban music and a port which, there is a program with dance, acrobatics and other shows. You can leave the hotel, it gives no bus service. It is possible but, taxis or Esel with coaches available. The price for a trip, one should before with the driver negotiate ☺

For Cuba top, in the international comparison to expensive and only upscale average. Guest composition is located at 99% british. Menu a bit unimaginative, specialty restaurants but very recommended. In comparison to the dishes at the buffet we felt this not as enrichment, apart from you're served.     The distance to the hotel is 1 hour with the taxi. We had TUI the premiumpaket booked, which the private transfer Includes. Is definitely the distance to the airport recommendable. It is an all inclusive hotel. Nearby there is nothing else, except for nature. During our round trip by Cuba we have 3 days luxury in and therefore this hotel elective. Positive: - friendly staff - the hotel isn't crowded, by the pool there were even to the lunch still couches - diving is included (but you have to about 45 minutes transfer to another hotel) Negative: - expensive phone calls in cuba (1.20 cuc per minute) - grossly overpriced internet fees in comparison to other hotels in Cuba (5 cuc/30 minutes) - when it rained (and wind) is the open architecture of the hotel rather inconvenient, otherwise very nice read hotel review

It was our 2. stay on Cuba, already at the first visit we had the country and people much to appreciate. Our holiday was a trip to (anm. 'the east kubas' of TUI, thanks to our excellent guide very adventurous was). The hotel general deserves full a 'very good'. The tables in the restaurants were quickly set (and without much rattle! ) , the service was attentive, fast and always friendly. The smile and a friendly word were to some extent the 'status quo', from the front desk over the restaurants, the bar to the room maids and the gardeners. Go! The language skills were for a hotel good, smaller repairs (broken lamp or toilet flush) were immediately (! ) Taken care of. Our maid, our room always tüv or tv monitor was.

    The transfer from holguin takes approximately 45-60 minutes (depending on the vehicle). The hotel is located on a large bay with a neighboring hotel, so that the filling of the beach natural limits. The view of the bay is wonderful, if you like, you can get those after physical activities from the jacuzzi enjoy. The beach itself is fine sand, indeed but rocky areas on the transition to the water, so that bathing shoes really no mistake are (is but also without, if one listened, where you go force). The water is clean, who likes can nearby snorkelling (is not Maldives or hawaii, but a little tropenflora and fauna you can see). Small restriction: natural shade possibilities are a bit sparse, umbrellas are free of charge available provided.     Although the room was shortly before guantanamo but very nice and clean. Tastefully decorated stayed here nothing to be desired.

    The royal restaurant and the royal bar were the biggest flops! In the restaurant daily the same card, all dishes with a side dish mashed potatoes, carrots, tinned mushrooms, balsamic vinegar. Food was cooked unlovingly, had on the first evening a fillet ordered and got a 0.5 centimeter thick hockey puck. Two days later i ordered the steak again and said even '2. opportunity' for the fillet and i got... Ragout! After that, we were as almost all royals normal food. At the drafty and not cosy bar the same beverages as in the main bar, the paradisus-nothing more for a lot of money ☺ Quite on the contrary, wanted on the first evening a special drink (Havana Club 15), answer was' we have not, only downstairs in the main bar '. Amazing. Expensive area there would be no money for an expensive rum on a budget. The better the offered in the map drinks were 'in the moment nicht' since. Two weeks ☺ Drink you liked a coffee at the beach? Gladly, on main beach of the hotel, in the royal area has the beach bar no coffee maker...

    Entertainment in the royal area? Zero. Not even a pool table or similar Pool? Nice built over three levels mile sea view, but you can only swim laps. Beach? Beach chairs from plastic, very little umbrellas.

    Location, well... The top of the adjacent mountain the paradisusanlage. The small beach was nice and had which from the Maldives, so, it was quiet. But a lot of seaweed and further inside lots of seagulls - bath shoes do not forget! The rest the hotel we mostly with the club -Cars dangers, everything very far. The car then always the ' end of Cuba' ordered, so far was off the beaten path...
