As a part of a new Zealand tour I have a night in this hotel spent. Decisive for the booking on my tour operators was the central location in the heart of Wellingtons opposite the National Library and close to the Te dad museum, as well as the Cuba street. This is pretty much the only positive, what to the hotel to say. I had a normal double room to use on the first floor. A balcony does not exist, the window can be tilted, because of the main road in front of the hotel is the however with a ... corresponding noise level connected. Well functioning electric heater. Bed comfortable, unfortunately however not freshly referred. Small kitchenette with possibility the coffee-/ tea Preparation ( mugs still dirty from the predecessors ), fridge ( very noisy at night ), flat screen TV, desk. At first glance made the room of the altogether already in the year come hotels a good impression, at closer inspection you have to however revise, a lot was dirty or simply neglected. The absolute Nadir my we could visit the rooms beforehand in the bathroom-here were clearly the footsteps of my predecessors to see, in the reason only dirty and in need of renovation, the sanitary facilities on campsites in the comparison luxurious. Almost all from my group have similar experiences in your room - for one night just reasonable ( for lack of alternative.), once again I would this hotel however not book. The breakfast buffet in the morning was all right and rich. Wi-Fi ( subject to a charge) available, in my room was however the reception not enough.

From the hotel one is really quick in the center from Wellington. You should in any case a visit in the museum plan, it is worthwhile! The entry is free and you can learn a lot about the Maori experience. Also a Earthquake -house is in a museum available. The botanical garden is worth seeing. Everything is easily accessible on foot. The restaurant around the corner 'LiDo' features live music in Jazzstil on. Phenomenal!
