A perfect, if a little expensive destination for couples and honeymooners. Perfect service, relaxed atmosphere, very friendly and competent staff. A wonderful location in the lagoon, with huge apartments in the water villas, on the first view a little scruffy, as colorless look deceptive. Everything is priced from natural and natural materials such as wood, stone and metal manufactured, there is virtually no plastic or colors. The food in the two restaurants was very varied and stars, as well as the drinks, but also the 5-star of hotels in cities such as London or Paris. Our seventh Maldives-stay (hotel kanuhura, highest, reethi rah, W retreat & Spa, huvafen fushi, Zitahli).
The only drawback is the location of Soneva gili.
500 m distance 'is the island in paradise island'. A large island, on the you just can not overlook. Through the nearby to times, always fly again large and small planes over the resort. The boat traffic is also not to be sniffed at. A shame, since the Robinson feeling comes therefore not so much on. Another point of irritation is the mosquitos-I was tasty morsel on the well-being of the island, despite the provided lotion ... and the Mosikitonetz ☹ It is regularly 'smoked' with only moderate success but apparently.
Nevertheless: a beautiful resort, with perfect, yet unobtrusive service, the personal is unlikely. We were rarely well cared for! The food is fantastic, particularly for lovers of Asian cuisine! Bungalow and island (very dense vegetation)all beautifully gym brand new, with new equipment and a view on the sea of techno. Actually everything was perfect, it would be somewhere else the island. read more
