A very nice, small, private resort (3 rooms on the ground floor with a small open terrace; two rooms with rectangular terrace and additional seating area-all directly at the pool; two Superior rooms on the first floor with balcony and a fantastic view, 1 Avaton suite with terrace underground, small pool, 1 honeymoonsuite = 9 rooms with high-quality and new equipment!) at the pool there were enough pool chairs, but as usual in Santorini from the space was rather narrow, but spectacular (Caldera and sunset-) view. Pure privacy in the suites. Very quiet and relaxing at the pool! Excellent food ... ('slow food') and very friendly, umsorgender service! The breakfast is for each room was freshly prepared and served on the private terrace. You choose the day before and requested time. read more

Located in a beautiful setting, right on the crater, about five minutes walk to imerovigli village or about 15 minute walk along the crater with breathtaking views and small, winding streets (partly by other hotels/resorts through). To be highlighted is the exceptional courteous but discreet service and the efforts, from the first minute very comfortable and make you feel welcome. Typical of Santorini, as well as for the Avaton is, that there was no buffet-but the anonymous breakfast is for every guest. Based on its wish for the size of the hotel was the breakfast very good and well-balanced. The ... Spa & SpA is small but nice. The spa treatments are very professional and the general very positive picture. tip: for ideas and turns you tips on restaurants, estates, excursions, etc. at the front desk Laura. Food: fish; sunset in oia, (small harbor)-amoudi a must, meat: restaurant ANOGI in imerovigli, about four minutes from the Avaton. For fine cuisine (price): 1800 (reservation recommended) in oia. Beaches: perivolos, beach with music (lounge, chill-out, house, techno): JoJo's and Chili beach bar. A must is a visit to the Red beach. Tinken: at least a vins anto. PS: Santorini is a place for small children (because of the steep and narrow streets, precipices and black, very hot beaches) PS:in Avaton can it possibly to difficulties regarding beach chairs at the pool. read more

We have this hotel selected, there our small daughter (18 months) the wedding journey took part in and only with Thomas Cook the reservation of the infant were possible. In addition the size of (ONLY 9 rooms) and the category (5 *) were absolutely desired of us. We took up only the breakfast. The guest and age structure were mixed, (German, Italian, Croat) whereby the hotel was not completely working at full capacity during our stay (no disadvantage!). read more

    The size of the rooms (superior) is sufficient. Our room was equipped still with an auxiliary bed. Due to the availability us after the arrival a “Upgrading” was offered immediately on this room category, which we accepted gladly. The wash possibility is directly behind the bed and is somewhat habituation needy. Naturally there this department was only opened in the year 2009 is the total condition of the hotel (inclusive rooms) perfect cleanliness like one it for this category presupposes. (Air conditioning system, mini bar, safe and telephone available! ) Of Al deficiency the limited German television transmission availability would be to be only mentioned! to receive (only SECOND CHANNEL OF GERMAN TELEVISION Neo by cables! )

    Due to the size of the hotel the existing terrace for the breakfast income was really sufficient. The permanently prevailing wind is when having breakfast something nevertheless disturbing (one gets accustomed however to it!). The quality of the meals is good as very likewise to designate (visible map all courts was freshly prepared!). Due to fantastic views on the Caldera one could enjoy vacation all day long. The price structuring of the meals and beverages corresponded the 5* to category. Tips are gladly seen to natural such as everywhere and to facilitate the stay including special wishes!

    The friendliness of the total personnel (reception, kitchen, waiter and Raumpflegerin) is to be emphasized particularly and singular. With English the communication without problems is possible. The room cleaning functioned outstanding (several times daily cleaning including towel change!).

    Due to the fact that Santorin is not the typical beach vacation Destination, we used the swimming pool naturally sufficiently. Animation, disco and sport would have been in this hotel anyway mismatching and the pleasant and calm atmosphere would have disturbed.

    The hotel is in Imerovigli, lies on a hill and is about 10 minutes from Fira far away (with the taxi). The purchase and maintenance possibilities are here something limited, whereby this circumstance for quiescentlooking for is of advantage (family with infant). The transfer to the airport amounts to about 15 minutes. The trip possibilities, including borrowing auto offered, directly by the tour operator locally (Thomas Cook) were offered.

We were on our honeymoon in the hotel and it was wonderful the perfect setting for a honeymoon the service was very good. The food was very rich and delicious. The location was a dream and the gorgeous view. read more
