Were to 2 time in this good city hotel and it was again. Right on the river and therefore very central. Condition and cleanliness is ok impeccably. Superb views of a room on the upper floors. It was our 3. visit and we were very disappointed. About 4 weeks before our trip i wrote an e-mail with a wish. Answer i got no and also the desired room we got not.
The design of the hotel has already gotten a bit old and it would have to be urgently reconditioned.
The breakfast buffet is still huge but in comparison to the years before it was small.
Pineapples and watermelons were missing almost daily at the buffet and you had to always complain, then a small portion enough.
For the most part was the staff at breakfast ... were very unfriendly. read more

Again we have a stopover to New Zealand in the Hilton used. We like the architecture, the interior and the location right on the river. It is unfortunately somewhat 'away from schuss' but with the hotel's own boat to the other side of the river and the u-bahn.
The breakfast buffet with a terrace we simply grandios and offers something for everyone. Especially fresh fruits and juices and eggs. read more

In the last few years is not much happens in the Millennium Hilton. The 'paint' at the one or another place a little off. The state of the rooms is ok, the bathroom also, even though you can see, that it is a bit outdated.
The food and quality of the courses for breakfast and during dinner are ok. The service varies very much, especially for breakfast worked unfortunately not everything. Near a hotel of this size is then rather annoying, because one is simply not very keen on for a long time for breakfast with the wait for the ... coffee fritter away wants.
Besides, the Millennium Hilton great, one is fast with the shuttle boat to the bts station and therefore in the town. All rooms have a view of the river. Gym and pool are also okay. The bar on the 31. floor (in addition to the executive lounge) has a really nice view and a nice atmosphere. Be careful with the happy hour: there is a extra map, after which one however actively ask-strange approach, especially for a 5 star hotel, then simply not at all only offer something. read more

The hotel shuttlet its guests free of charge at the other banks, from where the very favorable public boat for exploration can use. The Hilton is across the Chao Phraya river so if you step outside you need either a taxi or wait for the shuttle boat. Shopping is limited in the immediate vicinity so you need to drive a while to get somewhere. Otherwise the river views are gorgeous, the rooms have a nice modern design and are well eqipped. The pool is rather small so when two people are swimming along you hardly have space left! But there are plenty deckchairs in the pool area. We had our round trip for 3 days booked and were inspired. The view from our room was stunning. The dinner in the restaurant the flow ( buffet) was very good.

We were from 30-12-2012 to 3-1-2013 in the Millennium Hilton Bangkok. Expected a related Hilton-standard, were but unfortunately deeply disappointed.
At the check-in i noticed first one of us on, the dirty working clothes (leftovers from the lunch?) Deceptive; i thought that was quite inappropriate for a supposedly 5 star hotel. After check-in was simply left alone and not to the room accompanied-free after the motto 'schau but even, where you remain!'. The service the elevator with the room card was of course not declared.
Room: we booked a king executive suite. The first impression was very disappointing. The room ... was very carelessly equipped. Fresh fruit or flowers, as in the hotel's well specified, were missing. The table showed clear signs of usage as plates/ tassenabdrücke and other stains. In the bathroom there was except on the door to the shower no possibility the suspension of used pool towels. The jacuzzi-bath wanted to use, came from the nozzles some indefinable dirt. From baden, i have therefore apart. For the internet entrance one must hourly or daily per inserted device pay a fee-and even then it worked with the connection does not go smoothly. Either one comes despite registration not connect to the internet and to re-payment (on the same device) requested or the connection is lame. Since the maltese islands in Bangkok as you know, is not the best, in hotels usually drinking water in bottles - amongst others in the bathroom for teeth deseam-was offered. In our room however we found only four 0.5 liter bottles in the minibar in the bathroom no trace of such bottles. Of course, the water is not to the daily tea and coffee making facilities, as well as your teeth, from. It has the hotel management mind and two bottles of evian water to 250 Bhat+ (exclusive service charge and vat!) Laid out. This joke -6 €for a bottle of water - we are discreet ignored and went to the supermarket 2 liter bottles of drinking water for 17 Bhat bought.
Service: the worst but we found the miserable service. For the guests, what executive rooms, is on the 31. floor the so-called executive lounge available. Around too must, you will after the room number. This is probably the impression a certain exklusivtät arouse - the complete service however room begarrs all description! The breakfast buffet is regarding the choice was very poor-you want a larger selection, so you had to go to the flow-restaurant on the ground floor go. There costs the breakfast for executive guests however 390 Bhat+! The staff in the executive lounge seem obviously don't want the serve and caused by their incompetence regularly chaos. In order to be served you had to partially 45 minutes wait. You ordered, so it took some time, until the ordered got. After my friend after a long discussion a Hilton club sandwich and only seconds later a guest the same ordered, tried the service with the same scam the guest of the order be held! We had the impression, that the waiters sometimes consciously sham, the guest does not to understand, so that this probably from its order it's expense. We were not the only guests, which the miserable service on the nerves went. It came during our stay three times before, that other guests very loud and obviously the chaotic and unreasonable conditions in the executive lounge have complained about. Obviously, in this lounge on the 31. floor untrained staff. For guests, for the executive room paid and for a corresponding service, this lounge is an absolute insult!
For the reservation and the information on the events at new year's eves you got no brochures-there was also no possibility, look elsewhere in the hotel lobby (for example with concierge) information. Instead you had to at the guest service call. Here were wrong information to available seats given.
After these experiences we have chosen, the reservations for new year's eve in this hotel to page and are the anantara riverside-and we didn't regret it!
Pool: to the chairs in the pool to come, through cold water wading. One would like to its überbekleidung disembarrass, so it is recommended, this outside of the pool to do, because otherwise you risk, the clothes durchzunässen. The loungers are just in the pool provided. It offers no reasonable opportunity for storing own goods on. Caution therefore with electronic equipment (Iphone, iPad etc.) - this can easily into the water fall! The dj towels sometime in the water and vacuum their full. Also lacking in the chairs the umbrellas; so you are the blazing sun suspended. If you want to in the shade, so you have to the beach chair and another place in the covered area. The water the main swimming pool is not only freezing, but also rather gloomy! Probably strong algal growth. Definitely not very inviting.
Food on the first evening we had the voucher for a dinner in the flow restaurant (buffet) redeemed. The food has a thai, chinese, japanese, indian and 'western' choice. The catered to quality and the service are surprisingly reasonable.
Check-out when checking out went first everything went smoothly. As the luggages were brought, left the institution the worst situations simply in the middle in the lobby is possible and disappeared! We waited outside on our rental car. After some time free had hoped, that the bell boy again appears and the luggage takes, my friend the car itself pushed together. The employees only stupid looked, but none has bequemt, us to help. Suddenly was also the luggage carrier again next to us. Aha!
Overall we about this hotel the impression won, that the hotel-management probably from financial reasons to all-inclusive guests specializes in. In this way, the service, the peace and quiet and the quality the general facilities flutes. Otherwise in every corner and ends were saved. Even if festive events like new year's eve on the doorstep is possible, must the service in a hotel as the Hilton do not suffer! Obviously rests the management on the laurels of this hotel chain and hopes, that the name alone helps, attracting visitors.
For independent travelers, in a 5 star hotel in good hands to feel want themselves and like to dig deeper into your pockets, is the Millennium Hilton absolutely nothing!
There are plenty of other hotels in Bangkok, the 5 star standard it is! So, stay away from Millennium Hilton! read more

We had a executive room and after a upgrade for a suite in demand.
Extra charge for suite 600 Bhat afterwards after rauchersuite asked. Unfortunately no free. However for 1200 Bhat we can suite with panoramaview have. Of course booked.
Approximately 72 meters² suite with almost completely view from the 24 floor of the chao phraya river!
Simply unbelievably.
Definitely again.

We have already been in the Millennium Hilton for the 3. time (always 7 nights) and can only say, that we our decision after many years the anantara (formerly Marriott) in Hilton to change, didn't regret it. From the check-in to the check out there is nothing to moan about. The hotel is so, as you get a 5-star -Hilton Hotel expected, tastefully decorated in modern asian style, very friendly and professional staff, service and cleanliness in all areas excellent. The hotel is in an optimal location, directly on the chao phraya river, right in the middle of the bustling ... life, the shuttle boat to the skytrain or public pier is a ideal starting point to discover the town. The pool on the 4. floor is to relax ideal and view of the river and the colorful driving is fantastic. The rooms are beautiful, tastefully decorated and the bathroom left nothing to be desired. Price for food and drinks in the various restaurants and bars are the hotel standard adequate, but you should know that if you have a 5 star hotel bay. Executive room and lounge, and the related knick-knack is a matter of opinion, we had it and book again standard room and completely contented. A visit the sky bar on the 32. floor. From there you especially at night a wonderful view on Bangkok. We are already looking forward to next time! read more

A good city hotel, right on the river with great connections by the in-house water taxi to the monorail. The room was exceptionally beautiful. Very big, very tastefully decorated and the bathroom left nothing to be desired. Unfortunately i could krankheitsbedingt neither the dreamlike breakfast buffet do one evening once the optically unbelievably beautiful buffet try it.
Drinks and food in the exec lounge was good, however also not world-shattering. The bottom line a good hotel. Unfortunately we had in three points less good experiences made.
Check in designed difficult and we are then by the building wrong, because our ... companion a wrong room number scribbled-happened probably once during 1000 check in - should not be overestimated.
Annoying was the fact that we krankheitsbedingt a late check out needed. For the renewal of 13:00 on 6:00 p. m. has Hilton 120 € called. We have paid and Hilton from our list. We are trying for weeks from the e-mail routing to take. 3 times unsubscribe was not been successful so far.
Don't be sick, no email address and a bit of luck at the check-in and you've got nothing more to moan. read more

The hotel is so, as you get a 5-star -Hilton Hotel expected. The rooms are big, particularly the bathroom impressed by size and mirror, as well as shower and bath tub. Everything is very clean, although also a few wear marks see are (for example furniture scratched). Every room has a room a great view on the river.
Outstanding is the food, there particularly the breakfast buffet and the dinner, each in the restaurant flow (ground floor). The buffets really offer for any taste a wide selection, also vegetarian. The dishes were all very high quality.
The shuttle bus-service on ... the other river side made possible it, quickly by water taxi or skytrain continue and so the city to explore.
A visit the 360° bar on the 32. floor. From there you especially at night a wonderful view on Bangkok and wat pho and the royal palace to the south. read more

We were as a part of a city break 3 days in the Hilton and can only say great! From the check-in up to the check-out very friendly staff, because some speakers absolutely not agree. Huge breakfast buffet with genuine honeycomb. Although the hotel in klongsan is you with the hotel's shuttle boat always the possibility on the other, banks speak to the public transport to come. Beautiful, large and clean rooms. ( room 2022 - see pictures)
Well-kept and clean pool area. No matter wether of the chair, of the pool or the jacuzzi one always had a view of the bangkok skyline respectively chao praya.
Free boat shuttle to the river-side pier and taksin pier (skytrain).
Breakfast buffet really great and good in terms of taste.
We had a dinner in the flow -restaurant free which we absolutely recommend could. The cheese room ... is brilliant - even I as a 'not käseesser ' marvelled here.
360° bar we can for a cocktail evening also recommend respectively is a 'must'.
