The experience was relaxing. We sat, we sunbaked, we relaxed, we ate, and we took advantage of the onsite Spa services. One week really was not long enough, but from arrival to departure, the group at this resort ensured that we were looked after. Guests ranged from older couples, to young honeymoon couples. to families with young children. People of all nationalities and all backgrounds arrived to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The sunsets are a must read hotel review

Staying in an ocean front bure is a pleasant experience. While each room is airconditioned, we found that we did not need to use the airconditioning (we were there to enjoy the warmth) and leaving the windows open at night meant a comfortable night. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the ladies are meticulous in their work. The spa on the balcony simply added to the experience.

the buffet breakfast covered both the light, healthy continental requirements, but also added the Australian and American breakfast requirements. We generally ate in our room for dinner, and really did not require a meal for lunch. You can prepay a meal package, or pay at the end according to what you ordered. We thoroughly recommend the Plantation Restaurant, slightly pricey but well worth the money, Gentlemen if you do not have long pants the staff are able to assist in clothing you. And you must try the degustation, (just dont eat all day beforehand in anticipation)

The Fijians are lovely, smiling faces every time you see them and a genuine greeting. This resort is all about service, friendliness, and looking after the customers. And they sing so beautifully...

We chose not to use the pool but many of the guests packed their bags and camped at the edge of the pool from breakfast to dinner. We were fortunate to be able to relax on the sand in front of our bure. We cant comment on the kids club, other than to say that the children we saw obvious enjoyed it. Shopping at the resort was minimal, but hand crafted clothing was delightful. Internet access in room is chargeable, however there are wireless hotspots in the dining areas

The resort is located not far from Nadi, and on a small island. Trips to Nadi are easily arranged The beach is in fact mudflats, so there is little or no beach front swimming, but you are able to borrow kayaks and explore. A must is a day trip by sailing ship to the outer reef, snorkelling and of course the barbeque. The staff "make" the trip. A travel bureau is available and other excursions can be organised, just give her a little time to organise it all. You are of course on "Fiji time"

We came there from our trip from NZ. It was a great experience. But the Sonaisali island resort doesn't have a good transportation connections but it's location in the pure nature is stunning. Sandy beach and warm ocean what do you even want? Bungalows were a fair size and our family was feeling comfy. Great place but could of found it better, I think it's a lot of better places in Fiji to stay. read hotel review

The sea is a brown broth. Staff is young and tried hard, but is certainly working on clear instructions from above-no real flair. Pretty tasty. not to be recommended! read hotel review

Can me the previously submitted reviews only connect. As the river right on the resort in the ocean leads is this not really for swimming a. Also my bungalow as run-down and outdated designate. Whereas the staff is always friendly %blank%. Distance to nadi town as already mentioned about 20 minutes with resort -shuttle bus (i think was free). Who however the vast and not very cheap way into the south pacific starting should better another resort search. read hotel review

Despite five star we would classify it rather to a maximum of four star, as such the rooms are more dated. The location of the island shall not be deemed to constitute a positive thing, because you are mostly by an almost dried Lake must pass through. This mud is not inspiring views of course vacation. Since the beach is not the South Seas, we would recommend this hotel in no case for a beach holiday. read hotel review
