Anyone who loves your vacation in the middle of nature to spend is in the right place in this hotel. The reconstruction of the hotel in accordance with of nature managed. The service in the hotel is good and the food in the hotel corresponds the expectations (for europeans the breakfast is more than enough). The restaurant by the beach is recommendable, particularly the delicious non-alcoholic drinks. For us it was a very relaxing vacation. You should however only breakfast book, since there in the immediate area lots of small restaurants with delicious food there is. read more

Room was with arrival 12,03. 13 not reserved. We were for 3 days to the hotel The Sands and were angry. But it should our happiness. On 15 march we were again in the laguna back brought. We had a chalet room and were over the furnishing very nice horrified-old dark furniture. It was still bearable but the following points: - chairs on the beach were from 7:00 o'clock manned (far from enough chairs available) - beach chairs close to each other-it was almost on the the deck chair next to it - between the chairs for lunch ... grilled, speisenhütte also surrounded by of the chairs with music noise - breakfast room would have to be urgently reconditioned (to unfriendly) - the absolute highlight was however the night - we didn't sleep, as the pond next to the building a pump the whole night gewummert has Conclusion: after two days we have asked, that we to this hotel again The Sands back to be brought. We had a siam chalet. The check in ran smoothly and we were immediately on arrival through the complex run and got all necessary information. On arrival in the room the luggage was already on the spot. The area is very extensive and well designed. Wireless internet in the whole complex be used. In the resort there was massage and other spa services. Unfortunately the hotel is for the handicapped because of many stairs for handicapped hardly suitably. read more

We had consciously no bungalow, but had chalet room. The rooms are really spacious cut. They are equipped with dark wood paneling and are therefore very dark. The bathroom of room 005 smells and you can hear the traffic the street, the directly behind the hotel leads to, but you'll get used to it quite quickly. The whole hotel is very extensive and one must also lots of stairs rise, therefore not suitable for handicapped people. We have the pool not use and also not evaluates. We only the beach and the sea enjoyed. With the food we have only ... the breakfast evaluated, because one in the town very good and a lot cheaper food. Under 4 stars hotels we have clearly experienced better. read more

The hotel features bungalows (villas) and standard rooms. We had booked half board, the really didn't need it, because in the immediate vicinity plenty of restaurants. The guests were very mixed, there were different nationalities and from small children to older people all ages. Each room has a safety deposit box in a room with the front desk. It was also free of charge available. If you on safety deposit box should like, must one for the first time in a list and the subject then two key (its own and the front desk) open.     Our first standard room was good. It was clean, spacious and had also everything. The bathroom went with sliding door right next to the bed, and had only a glass panal. And the mini bar was a bit noisy, we then in the evening turned off. Then we got booked in the oriental villa. A bit more spacious and with a four poster bed. Otherwise is the furnishings actually identical. Only the the bathroom in the villa is greater and window. Furthermore, the villa has a large terrace and a further smaller, where you dry clothes could. In both rooms was the bathroom with a shower and separate bathtub. The cleanliness was both alright. With the move to the villa we were unfortunately already used glasses and a sticky liquid on the sink. It was quickly repaired. You should not just under the bed (it was under this condition) or in the corners look. As mentioned there are a mini bar, a kettle, tea and coffee, a television, hair dryer (but it was very weak!) , flashlight, bathrobes, slippers and umbrellas. There is also a beach bag with beach towels. Although we had not asked, but every day get fresh.

There is two restaurants, but the oriental restaurant mostly for the breakfast used and the sundowner restaurant directly at the beach for lunch or dinner available stands. Only in heavy rain on the oriental establishments. There was for breakfast a very good selection and everything, which we needed. It was always refilled. There are cooks prepared, the its fried or scrambled eggs fry. It was really always something for us. Small tip: if you mango for breakfast would, just one of the cooks respond, then one gets also the. In the evening you can then a finished speisenabfolge select or from a map its court select. There are a variety of thai and european dishes. Everything was fresh and good. Sometimes you don't get that, what's on the menu. For example i had a filet ordered, which according to map with julienne vegetables are served should. It came then a filet with a cold broccoli, cauliflower and babymaiskolben. Or my husband ordered a japanese menu and received as a main entrance a schnitzel with fries and ketchup... Since we had half board, we could in the evening everyone up to three meals. Which during the thai food was very good, as everything could try. There are also regular theme evenings with buffet. Then there was asian buffet or westernbüfett or similar it was then a show with dancing or live music shows. Drinks there was actually everything, from soft drinks, over beers, cocktails. The hotel there is a bit more expensive than the surrounding restaurants (circa 220 Bath = 5,50 Euro). Very recommendable are the smoothies! (110 Bath = circa 2,70 Euro).

    The service was always good. The staff is always friendly and courteous us opposite. Unfortunately, there was a small drawback. We had a oriental villa and upon arrival the manager know, that the hotel overbooked and we the next three nights in a standard room must. As a comparison we were then offered, that we the next three evenings for free in the restaurant dinner may. We had booked half board, so it was not a good offer. A little negotiation and we could between massage or excursion choose. We went for the more expensive trip to the similan isands decided. Precisely this thing we noticed, that it remain persistent must. There were always all exceedingly friendly and courteous, but you also had to be persistent. We then the departure noticed, than on our hotel bill a whisky from the mini bar showed up, we definitely not had drunk. We had three or four times discuss and several times say, that the somewhat from the old standard room was, perhaps the guests after we consumed. Only then was the item from the bill it. With english you always got good. Sometimes not well understood, or we have the service staff member not understood, but then someone in/out privileges, the better speak english. The cleaning of the rooms was good, sometimes a bit superficial (for example under the bed or cobwebs on the ceiling). When we arrived at our villa could move, we found used glasses on and something sticky on the sink. But it was quickly repaired. A small repair to the front door from the standard room was fixed within a short time. Unfortunately, our move from a to the other room not so relaxed. We had the same day the free tour and promised earlier, that we after our return to move. But when we to the hotel came back, our things were already in the new room had been delivered.     There is no animation, no sports program, no disco. The only entertainment in the evening is the performance the theme buffets. But we found that very relaxing.     The location we found great. It is directly at the beach. The next restaurants are directly opposite or you can go two to three minutes (5, if you slow and walked comfortably) and the first shops, restaurants, bars. Very nice area. About 5 minutes away from centre. We had a oriental villa. Only had to because of overbooking 3 nights in the standard room stay. Wanted us, if we do not advance notice would have on the luggage label where the room was, 18 nights in the standard room directly at the street accommodated. Thanks to the travel agent, it was a room in the garden, where we perforce 3 nights had to sleep. The was very annoying. Since january is that due to overbooking so run. What annoying was, that in the morning already around about 06: ...30 a. m. had to stand up, around itself a couch to reserve. From about 08,30 your you get nothing more. Nice hotel in directly at the beach, however also with lots of stairs. The standard rooms are nice large with balcony or terrace. However the closet way too small and no safe in the room, only at the front desk. Unfortunately, we had bad luck and got a room to the street, which was from the busy street noise. The hotel was übergebucht, for a beach chair on the beach or pool you had to early. The quality of the chairs was excellent, wooden pool chairs with thick cushions and every morning there was a clean coat it. Breakfast was ... good and adequate, service very accommodating and friendly. Beach restaurant very comfortable with a great view more, however, the price and the quality of the dishes not with external restaurants comparable. Too expensive and rather bad. We ate mostly outside. In 5 minutes was one in the center. However directly at the busy street, which led, that you in the restaurant on the terrace sat and car noise and fumes the good food not at all really could enjoy. Prices and quality of the dishes was mostly good. Especially we were in the 'smile' (is managed by a french, however only with book a table. Is worthwhile however!) Then in tiffy's café, is run by a german led (also some german dishes, if the rice full.), the pooh Khao Lak gave us really enjoyed and the golden elephant opposite the hotel. The cocktail bar next door makes tasty cocktails cheap, only 99 Bhat, but unfortunately very noisy (street noise). At the entrance to the left was a nice cocktail bar, also here many cocktails only 99 Bhat. Itself was the shopping street good, if not the 4 lane highway no 4 directly conduct. The cross the street was sometimes adventurous! The market in the neighboring bang niang was interesting. Monday Wednesday And sa a worth a visit. Trips were great, fantastic landscapes, simlilan islands, khao sok national park and a temple tour we had Khao Lak Land Discovery booked. Was german and well organized. A nice vacation overall, if the hotel, the restaurants and the shopping not directly at the highway would be. We would thereby this hotel only recommend conditionally. read more

Location at the beach - great! Cleanliness in the room - so Cleanliness in the bathroom - rather bad. During the 3 weeks my presence have various stains from previous owners no little changed (for example the verkäste mailstop in the shower) Staff very friendly and hard-working until completely incapable of simplest english phrases to respond. The food: my falmilie and i were 1a 3 days sick! The food obviously in the afternoon prepared and in the evening poor kept warm. Mostly it was-until you at the table was-cold. Cold food in Asien is not unusual. But i have never ... in several visits successful, me so before the food to disgust We had the half board. This is absolutely not necessary. Directly opposite there are excellent food in the 'golden elephant', the hot and were not got sick! Also much cheaper! From various other guests, which we in the course of the 3 weeks have met, we have, as regards the food and the subsequent extreme apropriate, the same thing. Tip: a good doctor with helpful tablets isn't far away and made 'domiciliaries' clinic dr chusak (the front desk knowledgeable). Otherwise: khaolak laguna quiet again. This was our 2. time here and again felt very comfortable. There is an international variety among the guests, the not intrusive is. Young people, the action and animation search, they were probably not really. People, the peace and quiet and asian serenity search, will feel at ease here. The staff are friendly, complaints are dealt with immediately. The rooms are spacious, are missing unfortunately schrankkapazitäten. Beautiful is the tropical garden area and the beach area with the comfortable loungers. In 5 minutes one is from the hotel on foot the town with its numerous very good and cheap restaurants ... and shops. At trips are recommendable: similan islands, khao sok national park and pha nang with the James-bond rock. 100% recommendation. read more

Were 9 days in this hotel. The rooms are poorly soundproofed what we really bother us. As we reported we got the siam chalet without an extra charge. They were a bit badly soundproofed. The beach well the service should absolutely times a training make. The food was mostly cold. A shame. The salad buffet was also not very rich. The breakfast buffet was very boring. The frette linen on the lawns were very pleasant. What i just always annoying people reserved not your beach chairs and the just 2-3 hours unused! Very nice, well-kept, quiet hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately you can not from the staff at the reception claim (very bad english skills). Wrong information (large communication difficulties)! Complaints were with a smile answered! Generally must one always everything exactly to the gleinste clarification, but also this is no guarantee, that everything worked! There are many wild dogs, especially at night sneak through the hotel complex (they were not always safe, there was a small incident, is however luckily nothing happened)! When we brought it to the attention of the front desk staff had complained, he said, we ... should at the front desk complain. Oh well! Very good location, shopping and were eating possibilities are just 500 meters away! The food is amazing! On the menu there are only very few vegetarian dishes, but on request you get almost everything also without meat and fish! Our bungalow was big and spacious. Very nicely furnished! Plant altogether very tastefully. Lots of stairs and large Areal, therefore not suitable for handicapped people. Room very badly soundproofed by connecting door! Breakfast a bit boring. In the pool area we have rats seen. Room to the street are far away from the beach and street noise. read more

Amazing hotel in a great location. We were middle november 2012 for one week to guests in this hotel. The complex is absolutely clean and it is also plentiful helped. The rooms ( siam chalet) are more than enough, and clean and in top condition. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In the office area, as well as in the gastronomy area all speak fluent english! The complex itself was very green arranged and is hiehingehend well maintained. Enough sunbeds ( even with stofftuch to stall the lylow ) are also available. Altogether mach the complex a top well-kept ... and clean impression. This, as well as the other rating here confirm this. I, for my part the hotel can only absolutely recommend and will stay here again. read more
