The hotel has a great location - in the middle of the old town.
However only for railway commuters suitable, since the parking situation more than questionable is.
During our stay was even a car in front of the hotel entrance (rudolskai ) towed away.
The hotel is in any case a star hotel.
The rooms were large-but with the window open we couldn't sleep, as it at night in the streets was very loud.
The bathroom was ample for the size - however the slippers and waschhandschuhe (which one from a star hotel expect can!).
The furniture in the ... breakfast room and in the restaurant should definitely be replaced, since most chair covers stained were.
From a star hotel you expect a better breakfast buffet. Cheese- and meat platters were uncooled and the selection was more like an average star hotel.
The best came at the end. Check out was until 12 o'clock.
We arrived at 11 o'clock (after the breakfast) to the room - and lo and behold, it was already fully prepared for the next guest.
We could also therefore also not more the toilet use. A part of our toiletries, the still in the bathroom-you had kindly on the side.
It was a luck, that the maid our luggage not just on the hall has!
As mentioned - the hotel is in a very good location - but the rest. So well - rather a basic 4 stars with downward trend. read more

The hotel is directly located next to the main station. There is also the bus station and you can get quick in the historic part. The hotel is a large closet, but everything inside is great. The rooms are big and tastefully. It has a good fitness room. Staff were friendly, but it came to waiting times at the front desk. read more

A hotel in a great location, but unfortunately the staff were for a hotel in this price range do not there for the guests.
We wanted three things: a larger cushions, the answering machine at the telephone deleted (constantly blinking light) and there the weather unfortunately very gastchig was, the shoes (according to folder) cleaned.
Nothing was done, even after we asked for. Moreover, i would this hotel do not book, if you the windows whilst sleeping must open. The rudolfskai has right by the hotel a few bars, where the noise level very high). For example was under our ... room at 6 o'clock in the morning blast shot. read more

Not comparable with other 5* Radisson. It was missing a tidying hand. Cleanliness leaves in all areas to be desired. Nearly all chairs in the restaurant stained, window and glass doors smeared. The complaint, our bathroom full of dirty, r foreign footprints is, was from the reception with regret, but not cleaned! On the day of departure during the breakfast our bed deducted, although we still not at all checked out in the morning. read more

Great hotel in a great location, great for a short city break - however no 5 *. The room was great, the bathroom very clean, but we had an old window, which one close not correctly could ( noise, draught). The hotel offers except for a bar and a restaurant no other offers as spa, sauna, etc.
Respect: the price the breakfast is available in any relation to offer. Coffee, tea, dry pastry and juices from the tetra luggage. read more

Right in the old town located hotel! Perfect starting point for all on foot to explore. Parking is a bit of a hassle outside from the hotel and you still has a walk back. Who on certain things not care so much the hotel can due to the good situation of in any case book. We would not again book.
Our room was big however already a bit dated! It urgently a renovation necessary. The room was to the roadside out with a view of the river and sunrise in the morning. Beautiful! Only night the disco on the ground ... floor or their visitors quite noise.
Breakfast buffet i know of Radisson better. No 5 star standard.
One evening we ate at the hotel restaurant. It was okay. Because the hotel however directly in town is it offers also at to eat outdoors. read more

Hotel with ambience in a central location. We were upgrade to a suite landed. The quality of the room was positive. We ate breakfast in the wonderful cafes in the area ( Tomaselli and bazaar), because more beautiful view and cheaper than in the hotel ( there 25 €per person). The Andienung with ample luggage from 2 weeks round trip previously by the staff without problem, parking in the parking garage about a 10-minute walk away. read more

Like the name suggests, is the hotel in the historic center from Salzburg in the historical part of the city, now a grade ii listed therefore you have to take a compromise on comfort and comfort life. There are many landings and for older people rather unsuitable. We had room 504 on the 5 floor, over a maze of steps and hallways reachable was. For 2 nights it was ok for us. read more

Summary: 'old box'
The hotel is situated in a the oldest buildings Salzburgs and has therefore this adjusted - the location is perfect to discover the town and enjoy.
Negative aspects: old, we were there in high summer and the room had no air conditioning, that open the windows was also not sleep promoting, as the underlying Salzach-banks the alcoholic the linzergassenfestes (which itself by the way is very recommendable) and the executive matchten who was louder. Room and bathroom were huge, the style was classic but furnishings dignified and in good condition - drawback that as already mentioned lack ... of air conditioning
Conclusion: in the hot season not recommendable (or with the hotel clarify an air-conditioned room), otherwise very nice
Service was also very good, good selection of wines at the bar, a windchimes was from the reception immediately and competent corrected-the recommendation is therefore limited to understand read more

We are already more often in Radisson Hotel experienced and unfortunately is this hotel not the Radisson usually too expecting standard.
The room was tastefully decorated, large and clean. However was the only light in the bathroom broken and only after 3-maliger (after over 24 hours) repaired. Furthermore there was a piece the shower cabin, so that after showering the whole bathroom underwater beach. The staff were always very friendly, but apparently overburdened. A room changing was not offered.
Unfortunately corresponded also the breakfast not the usual Radisson standard. The selection was reasonable, but it was not really tasty. A ... great shame.
All together captivates the hotel by the great location. It is reasonable value for money but unfortunately not. read more

The hotel has a great location ( right in the town center), also the rooms are very large and tastefully furnished, however the view was not very nice. One sees direct on the other block, which the room very dark. You have to on the day always be left open the lights on, the addition unfortunately not very bright. Further the staff were very friendly and tried. The breakfast against was a disaster. Even if you very limited in that early comes there, there was only a very limited selection of products, since everything was only once to be set ... and then never refilled. You get it with a nightcap from the waiter serves, but alone and thus fast overburdened is, as soon as a few people more for breakfast sit. Meaning you get a coffee then if one almost has finished with the food. In short: I would the hotel only without breakfast recommend. read more

A wonderful, tastefully equipped hotel in the middle the old town! There was a ancient old town House perfect refurbished and the charm the centuries maintained. Thick wood joist, Antique furniture, paintings and prints adorn the walls and wood comfortable, narrow stairways in the solid old walls. The staff were very friendly and helpful! The breakfast buffet one was a! A great selection and of high quality food! Also the evening 3 course menu was very delicious and the service professional and friendly! The room (executive room) was very tastefully, large and clean! A perfect weekend getaway! I can't understand ..., how one can complain about this hotel! If you are in the middle the old town on noise excited, it has done something wrong! At any time gladly again! Well worth a visit! read more

The location of the Radisson BLU in Erfurt is perfect. It is only a few Steps up to the cathedral, the residence, the train on the castle, in the getreidegasse etc.
the hotel features tight 70 rooms and was in a very beautiful and old building accommodated. We had rooms 202 and the was very large and nicely furnished (the style is a matter of taste, but it is perfect for the building and we liked it). The bathroom was very nice and overall huge with corner bath. The room was too spacious with a seating area, safety deposit box ..., mini bar and desk. We can only for room 202 and in the room are no choice worn furniture noticed, as in other reviews described was. We were from friday to Sunday in the hotel and in room 202 you didn't hear any noise from the disco belongs. Which we however can confirm, is the clairaudience of the rooms, but we had nevertheless a quiet stay.'downside' of the room was the TV, the for the distance from the bed to small was and the quality of the image was not especially good, the could in a five star hotel better his. Otherwise we were with the room and also the bathroom was very good. The room was in the annex and had to in the open the main in the building go, which for us however not a problem was. For eventual Showers were in any building Seattle available. In the room there was too a large Umbrella.
the check in / Check out was quick and friendly.
bar area: very comfortable
Fitness/SpA: no available
we did not required. Both could from other guests eventual in a five star hotel expect it to be.
breakfast:
during our stay was the buffet as soon as something was immediately filled. When we for breakfast came there on both days enough free table. The breakfast in the week from 6:30 o'clock until 10:30 o'clock and at the weekend until 11 o'clock serves. The selection was good and the food was tasty. Egg dishes, pancakes, cappuccino, latte macchiato etc. could with the service ordered will. Sparkling wine or sparkling wine there was too. We found the breakfast delicious and the choice completely sufficient. The clearing service in the breakfast was good.
dinner:
we once evenings in the restaurant Symphony eaten, as a 3 course menu in our Arrangement was included. The food and the service were good, but the level of the price was quite upscale and therefor the food for our taste a little more refined can. The drink prices we found to be very exquisite. 1/8 of wine costs for example between 4,50 euros and 6,00 euros.
we stayed at the Radisson BLU felt very comfortable and with a good special again at any time heartbeat.
Culinary tips: café Bazaar on the Salzach river, café Demel and lounge in the hotel rock ( delicious cocktails, great Hugo) with great view in Salzburg
a lot fun Radisson BLU old town and in Salzburg! read more

Excellent location in the heart of the old city with all (short distances) and disadvantages (nighttime noise in the narrow streets). The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating and the room on the fourth floor had a panoramic view. From the train station we could reach the hotel within ten minutes walking distance. For old town lovers would definitely recommend. read more

Somewhat put off by the violent complaints the service in previous reviews we nevertheless because of the top- location for this hotel decided, as it in the middle in the old town is. Therefore it is no new hotel building, but an old building, We had booked a package for two nights with breakfast, as well as a dinner in the restaurant of the hotel.
In The November seems absolute low season to be: the touristic Season end of October end, the Weihnachtsmarktzeit starts to the first Advent. lots of tours with excursions outside Salzburg, cruises or water games were ... in the November no longer program. nevertheless was the Touristenmenge in the town completely sufficiently, you couldn't really say, that the city in this period died out.
because of the low season the hotel was only little booked, but at any point a downside for us was. read more

In short: the worst service and the rudest staff, which I experienced and for a long time in a five-star hotel not expected! Very nice suite, unfortunately not to sleep because of the disco, the windows have to remain open in the summer but because of the exhaust of the air-conditioning device smart consumption. With complaints the swamped staff could not deal, at the same time the tone was very curt. We can't recommend this hotel, as price and performance were not in the least be consistent! read more
