A really successful vacation with the highest erholungsqualität. The employees are courteous and really friendly. Great atmosphere, beautiful beach and good sea, tauchschul and food perfect! Hygiene is perfect, even the beach chairs were regularly cleaned and disinfected. read more

The bungalow was functional decorated, unfortunately was missing the fridge, the safe must, if it is used or not 2 American Dollar daily paid. The room was in the 16 days stay unfortunately only insufficiently cleaned, the bathroom is outdated, toilet brush was missing and was from the cleaning staff obviously from bungalow bungalow and use. read more

After we lots of negative reviews about this hotel read, we actually wanted to rebook. Since we the prices in other hotels were too high, we left it to arrive and flew with low expectations.
We were totally surprised and lots of negative reviews do not understand.
Our rooms (we had everyone a single room) were large and newly renovated. Every day was made clean. There were new bed sheets and towels.
Of course, there were mostly italians and only a few germans. We were but also treated friendly. It is always important, how one behaves.
We can nothing negative ... to say. Also the food was very varied and delicious.
This hotel we could quiet conscience to further-recommend, also for people with sophisticated demands. But there are no large pool area. So if you want absolute pool fan and we're beachgoers is, feel not at all in good hands. read more

We had a beautiful beach holiday with both of our children (7 + 13-years-old).

The trip Saona we can highly recommend.
The shops in the hotel are quite expensive. Outside from the hotel you have to negotiate well.
Food was great. Very diverse and at any time good quality and quantity.
Very well-equipped fitness room.
Matter claimed activities : soccer, table tennis, treadmill in the gym, Volleyball, trapezoid
Very lots of space at the beach. Every day were enough chairs available.
Beautiful pool areas, also we had a very lots of space.

Huge, but nevertheless well-kept complex. The staff is always attentive, the you feel weclome and comfortable, no matter wether it at the front desk, the maids, the gardener or the staff at the bars is. Even when stress they have a smile on the lips or singing cheerful. We had a very nice beach holiday.
The audience is mixed, but i would like to say, the also about 25% germans were there and the the staff also tried to speak german. But always a few spanish-or english knowledge helpful. I cannot expect, the flowing they speak german, here in Germany ... can't every waiter perfect spanish or english and so on.
The selection of dishes was very big, so that everyone which and the seasoning is also everything was there, one must to stop the eyes open. Recommendable is an attendance in the à-la-carte-restaurant 'Atlantis', there, there are delicious seafood in different variations and in great atmosphere and the almost on star level. One must a few Dollar but spare.
Our room was huge (about 40 square meters), fridge, iron, and daily 2 bottles of water were available, rooms were very thoroughly cleaned and the bed linen, as well as towels changed daily and everything was white.
The way to the beach is very short and it is always enough loungers available, this applies to the quiet part but also for the beach-party area. The beach several times cleaned daily.
What price-performance ratio we cannot this hotel with calm conscience further-recommend, since we already the 5. time in the dom. Republic in different parts of the country were and thus also other hotels know. read more

Generous corresponding 4 stars plant, with clean beach. Our rooms in the basement in 2. number; big, but worn, small closet for clothing, and the bathroom- fixtures were rusty and calcified, the air conditioning too loud to sleep. We only stayed 2 nights before our cruise, but the room was 1 stars! read more

Big hotel right next to the sea, the guests were mostly italians and french, a few americans and still fewer germans.
The staff was always friendly. Our maid was unfortunately not the best (friendliness was an unknown despite tip).

A beautiful beachfront hotel with very many italian, french and americans and a few german, what a good mixture was. The animation was two italian and french, which didn't bother us. The waiters were always tried everything so quickly as possible todo and always had good mood for everyone. The rooms are sufficient but could be renovated. read more

Bungalows are too loud, the connecting door is not close, had the bad luck, 2 at 05 o'clock frühaufstehende computerspielende chain smokers as neighbors zuerhalten. Our clothes in the closet and at all the whole room was in a smokehouse cinema. After 3 experienced complain someone came to the door with tape penetrated. The furnishing the bungalows should be renewed, but it is not much if such inconsiderate tourists the furnishing so smoke out. Language is a nice but if you too loud is it disturbs the sleep of the other. read more

We enjoyed this holiday really enjoyed, especially is to be pointed out the friendliness and willingness to help the tour guide from schauinsland mr Jose vasquez. Because the hotel mostly in italian hands, left the cleanliness in the restaurant something else to wish for. To be recommended was an excursion to the island Saona and with the friendly guide Pedro to the country and people. For renting a car, as well as trips on own fist was for security reasons in need of discouraged. This is also not necessary, as beach, water and hotel for everything compensate. read more

Our first room was so bad, so that one it hardly can describe. We have on the day of arrival to another asked, which allegedly was not possible. I have on the first night minutes 10 mosquitoes frazzled.
Standard rooms are a catastrophe, small u. uralt. Equipment like from sperrm. Balcony doors hardly lockable. The frühstücksgedeck was always with the same cloth 'cleaned' and therefore has stunk like old dish cloth. A bit friendliness you had to with a few US Dollar buy! The beautiful open dining room had part of the hygiene standard of french autobahntoilette! 3 days had ... my wife and i, diarrhea! We are already 6 times in the don. Republic, but so which we do not have yet experienced.
The beautiful beach and the beautiful garden would have a better hotel deserved!

To us the stay was pleasant. Everything on italian guests set up have german speaking guests hard. ( even the entertainment only in spanish and italian) german and english you could, if one luck had only at the front desk or with the guest services of use.
However the kindness of the people everything else forget.

Disturbing were the loud music(entertainment theatre ) between 22 and 24 hours.
Horrible we found at the christmas buffet' ammennhaie' as table decoration, we as divers and friends of fish could in no way accept! Safe in the room only for a fee. read more

The outside area and the beach are very well maintained. Also the choice of food is great, but it is no spice used.
The maids go every morning at half 9 every room and knocking at the doors, we had no waking service ordered!
The bed linen in the total 12 days not changed.
The staff doesn't speak german at all, not even at the front desk.
One notices extremely, that you as a german there definitely not gladly seen is, for example at the beach is one of the last of the served.
Merely no standard room, if you ... so much money for this vacation wrapped, you don't have to in a ' jugendherbergezimmer' is.
If you are in the bungalows is housed, it is a great, relaxing vacation, but in the main buildings, it is the Ballermann. The whole night loud music and shouting guests and not to forget under each window the air conditioning, the you day and night hear, because the windows not close properly. read more
