Pleasant and very well maintained Hotel Garni

Nice, very well maintained Hotel Garni only a couple of minutes on foot from the center Oberammergau in a very quiet lateral road located. Very friendly to the boss, the building makes altogether a very good and clean impression. Size of the single room for a short break sufficiently, equipped with a desk and small flat screen-tv, the bathroom with shower is against rather a bit cramped. Choice and quality of the breakfast buffet goes reasonable, good 3-star standard, actually everything which one for the start needs. In nice equipped, rustic lounge in the basement big tv and fridge with ... drinks to the self-service. Altogether a Hotel Garni, the i can recommend with a clear conscience. read more

Basic Hotel, well situated and quiet. Very bland room (2 star), good shower and toilet. The drawback: the owner came to me and always cool on a primary school teacher. The breakfast was refused a short 'not' the selected table, although this was not reserved. I had to take a seat in a dark corner. A guest was the owner of a fried egg. When I expressed the desire for a fried egg, said to me' I would have been not what we expected!'. These before all guests. At the type of guests came unequal treatment pointed out the ... sentence: 'I can only say the truth' I have never felt at home, since the poorly furnished rooms left to miss any atmosphere. Very nice, modern hotel. Very clean, in the room there was even a flat screen tv. Beds were comfortable. We were greeted very friendly, got a very good information about excursions and a map of oberammergau. Only stayed one night and would not hesitate to stay there again! read more
