We were easily from the hotel at the airport and also again back brought. On request we have been to every opportunity provided a taxi.
The information about the excursion possibilities (here: tour Abu Dhabi with the hop on hop off) were very extensive and from the concierge of the hotel personally delivered.
Unfortunately there are currently construction nearby the beach. The us so far did not disturb however the access to the beach very tentative.
On the penultimate day we joined experienced and seen that it also a room with Kicker, wii and Playstation returns. For children this is ... a great opportunity as we found.

The interconti in Abu Dhabi is one of the older hotels of the city and one among many 5 star hotels in the square.
The rooms are appropriately large and have either a window to the pool/ sea or the city.
Wifi is in the room and also by the pool with moderate speed available.
The guests stayed in the pool area mostly german or russian.
The hotel has quite potential. By amateurish dealing with complaints and defects/restrictions with the leisure facilities the hotel i would in view of the many alternatives at the travel site not really recommend. read more

Inter continental in Abu Dhabi is a great choice. The staff could not friendly and have been more helpful. Absolutely great! We stayed in a comfort room. The was perfect. The cleanliness %blank% of the room, as well as the entire area is fantastic. The hotel has the 5 stars, which it has, definitely got along. We had the accommodation with half board booked. Breakfast and dinner in buffet form is offered. The choice of food could not be better! If you didn't get full here, it is your own fault. The hotel has a beautiful pool. Furthermore, there was ... a hotel own beach chairs and sunscreens is possible available.
A tip i would like to add: the buildings are crazy down cooled, so that it after a short time was cold. Therefore, you should definitely always take a jacket or a cloth have.
Also one should never from the house/hotel, without mineral water with you! read more

We were very comfortable in this hotel. The staff was always very friendly and willing to help. The room was big enough, unfortunately there are no balconies and the window can, for security reasons, only about 10 centimeter be opened. The furnishing is not any longer completely rope fresh, but the room was tidy, fresh and clean renovated. The bathroom is well equipped, separate toilet and bidet, bathtub and shower with normal-and rain shower. On the carpet in the courses sees one, that the hotel is already a bit older. The building alone is however very popular, the terraces are ... in the evenings always fully, the view over the hotel-own Marina is very nice. At the beach is there a new Beach Club built, the noise nuisance holds itself however within limits. The pool on the 3. floor is however very nice and very clean. All in all a lovely hotel, we will gladly again go there. read more

In any case the hotel is recommendable, we had really beautiful 2 weeks, a mixture of city and beach holiday. The staff is in all areas very friendly and helpful, we had no complaints. The food was in the whole time very good, with a large choice. Currently has the new pool area is being built, but it didn't bother us. The only thing we not so nice was, even though we knew in advance, was after the long overnight flight the very late check-in, arrival at the hotel about 7:30 check-in was without an extra charge but only ... around 14:00 possible. read more

We have a wonderful vacation with our children spent in the hotel. Was outstanding the service. The well-trained staff anticipated nearly each desire from the eyes. Also child-friendliness is here very important, in the emirates. Very poignant has the pool boy dipak (occasionally in the breakfast service) to our daughter Lara taken care of. A very big thank you to the fmb director Nick, Francesco, ramly and nasr al abri. Also a big thank you to the gm Dieter franke, very accommodating and friendly. Overall, we were positively surprised from Abu Dhabi, about the friendliness and excellent service. A wonderful ... holiday destination. We have a new destination discovered. read more

The hotel lies at a Marina with berths for about 100 boats. At the Marina includes a beach section, from the you with a approximately 150 meters broad estuary views of an artificial island with man made sand piles has.
Under beach holiday with a view of the sea we understand something else, using our photographs can everyone as there own picture of the hog.
Currently there is still under construction, there will be a pool area, restaurants, and a new beach bar. The construction is through high wooden walls optically tucked away, but the heavy equipment you can hear ... but. Another construction spot gives it also at the entrance of the Marina, here is another building.
The hotel itself we find great, everything seems to be dignified, is clean and in good repair.
Our room had furniture in dark wood and had a very comfortable double bed with really good mattresses. In the spacious bathroom, with sink and bath there is also toilet and bidet (through glass door separated again), and a spacious shower.
The facilities of the room include safe, minibar, and a flat-screen tv with amongst others ARD and ZDF, and swiss RTL. And for those who need it: iron and ironing board is there.
We spent our days by the pool on the terrace on the 3. floor spend. It was mostly enough chairs, only once it was really cramped. It was at the time of the Abu Dhabi triathlon, since the hotel was fully booked.
The pool boys, the previous stays in this hotel still without being asked the desired beach chair with towels changed and a cooler with 2 bottles brought, have deteriorated.
We had to us even take care of you and the things get.
Otherwise is the service in the hotel and restaurants nothing to complain.
A highlight is sure the buffet in the restaurant selection, which one as a part of half board you could choose between lunch or dinner to enjoy. There is a great selection of appetizers, soups, salads and main courses and the desserts are also great.
Even at breakfast there is a huge choice, there should be something for everyone.
Otherwise one could also in one of the other hotel restaurant food, where you can also in the open sit.
Tip not far away the etihad towers. In one of these 5 skyscrapers is a jumeira hotel. And the hotel has an observation deck on the 74. floor. From there one has a really great view over Abu Dhabi and the sea. The drive up costs 75 Dirham, but the entrance fee is a verzehrbon for the lounge at the observation deck, so for coffee, cakes, soft drinks or afternoon tea be redeemed.
And on the way home one can time the ritzy stores in the two untergeschossen the etihad towers standing. The is a small mall, but there are only luxusläden for watches and jewelry or clothes and shoes. read more

Was very skeptical. Concrete block from the 70. Wanted before the trip even transfer, am glad, that it did not work. The intercontinental is a first-class hotel. Big room, large bathroom, bath and shower, separate toilet, bidet.

The whole hotel area was very clean. The rooms were 2 times per day clean. All in funktionstüchtigem condition. We had a room on the 15 floor, the lift needed honestly a few seconds! The hotel looks inside right Nobel from, a nice architecture, very nice design. Throughout the hotel there was wlan the access code we directly after the check-in were received. Even at the beach you had wlan reception from the seafood restaurant. We had booked half-board with breakfast buffet and alternately lunch and dinner. The you could choose freely without prior notification, that was really great!
The ... guest structure was mixed many germans and french, british, a few businessmen, and local. Russian guests i did not and i also no guests negative.
Especially the you and pick-up service to and from to the airport with the from the hotel the cars (BMW 7 to and from Cadillac escalade to the airport) alone for the two of us pure luxury!-) read more

A pleasant and appealing hotel. Very clean and big room with a pleasant and very good service.
The pool area is not really for small children thought.
And the food in the buffet restaurant resembles sometimes a gamble, if one got a table would. Recommendable is the table for dinner to reserve, also with the half-board.
The construction at the beach didn't disturb so much.
All in all a lovely hotel for one week beach vacation. read more

The hotel is absolutely great what the service, size and furnishing of the rooms and the location in Abu Dhabi regards. The Marina shopping mall is only approximately 10 minutes out -minute walk.
Extremely positive striking is the nice, professional staff in all areas of the hotel. Also the size all the rooms and the bathroom is exceptional. From the outside the hotel makes (typical interconti-concrete style) a not so good impression, however therefor all interiors and room very nice and tidy.
The only downside during our stay were only the many, loud russians in the hotel. But for the ... poor and sometimes embarrassing behavior the russian (village -) guests can the hotel nothing. For this reason i would nevertheless the hotel recommend a lot!. read more
