The very good food ( breakfast and dinner) does not the ignorance when we complained about the dusty room! A short note on the window sill and you had the hand full of dust. On the closet lay also the clouds of dust. read more

We have made a trip to the Netherlands and now I my "frustration" to comment on this hotel. Start with the less positive: restaurant: breakfast was really good and varied. The furniture in good condition, but you could clearly see that not regularly in the restaurant or on the terrace. Cleanliness of rooms/ staff: When we got to our hotel room we were in the first moment loved it, the view of the lake is just great. But on closer inspection suggested to our mood. There were empty CIGARETTE packages behind the curtains. In addition the key from the minibar ... was broken, so that it was not available. Also there were cobwebs and leftovers from dead mosquitoes on the walls. Just disgusting! Now the experiences with the staff. Upon check-in we were told at 1300 Check-in time was from 3 pm is possible. This is true, but I know it from 4 star hotels. At least should be offered in the lobby to wait. I have to say we were again friendly sent away. When I called the front desk the problem with the mini-bar spoken, they said that these broken down. It was great, because I was not itself came on; -). A remedy the injury was not possible. When we came to leave the hotel, was also just try another tried to cheat us. On the bill were 5.00 Euro for parking per day. Luckily we had our booking confirmation for everyone, so that we could complain about this and it was waived. The way the tune changed but was rather not, I know from 4 star hotels. In all we were really disappointed. The great view and the breakfast could not many of the flaws were wiped. We will definitely not this hotel for the price and more visit not recommend it to anyone. read more

The exterior left a lot to be desired, like in the former moment of a youth hostel. The breakfast was not so great. One sort of cheese and one sort of sausage which not changed once a day, not to mention the rolls. The hotel has most of the guests were Dutch guests in the middle ages. read more

    The rooms are big and friendly furnished, but also the bathroom urgent renovation. had mold stains on the ceiling and the bathtub itself is in dire need of replacement. Through the broken shower partition was constantly wet the floor. The only electrical outlet in the bathroom didn't work. The TV has only ZDF) and the of a very poor quality.

    Most importantly, without good English or Dutch-knowledge, so you were in a fix find friendliness and Hilfsbreitschaft without language skills as good as non-existent. Room service is very good.

    You can book boat tours at the hotel. But since we only 2 days, instead of 4 days were here, we can't comment on that. We actually wanted to the front desk, unfortunately they do not hire bikes, although we had a discount coupon. In the town itself there are no entertainment and shopping possibilities. Currently built in the heart of the resort, which in addition negative for the place is as a cozy stroll is not possible.

    The very big plus for the hotel is the location. Beautiful on the lake, with a large terrace which could (if you are lucky) already can use for breakfast. However, it was on the Sunday at breakfast the first steamer, because in the normal restaurant with the beautiful terrace had brunch at the guests were in a seminar room with view of the trash cans to move.

Introdution: The hotel is beautifully situated on one of the largest lakes the Netherlands. For excursions with the car to Utrecht or Amsterdam without the hassle of a city hotel very suitable. The check-in was friendly and easy. The room with bathroom (bath tub, hair dryer, all toiletries of a 4 -star hotel available, even with daily re-filled), small kitchen, unfortunately the fridge not) with basic facilities of instant coffee, tea, sugar and milk (every day), and new Cites balcony was very large. The cleaning staff extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was sufficiently filled with various. Bread and ... rolls. Cooked and "gerührten" bacon and eggs, mini sausages. roast beef, cooked ham, freshly squeezed orange juice etc. The "head waiter" but we found it a little out of place in a 4 star hotel restaurant. The first morning at the table that way he my wife across a little using tottally abusive. He wanted the choice of table didn't move fast enough apparently and was given a little more subtle Urgent. The rates for a main course (fish, potato side dish, sauce) then go but unfortunately in semi-formal regions between 22.00 and 32.00 EURO. After we had to pay the immediate request it took nearly 15 minutes until we finally received the bill. We were only had 6 more guests were present. The "head waiter" things still a long rendezvous with a Dutch couple keep, then a newly arrived to resume the conversation, get a bottle of wine, a heater and finally move our bill must. As the title of the hotel reviews saying: If the said waiters in the restaurant were a bit more friendly and not so pretentious the hotel would have been in all areas of us the full number of stars. All other service staff, be it at the front desk or the cleaning staff were very friendly and endeavored with our only little knowledge to cope. Of course it could be very rare that German guests in the hotel, we were on this weekend next to an English Parr probably the only foreign guests under many Dutch. We would love to come back again sometime in the summer this hotel and especially the area to visit if they got a little more friendliness in the restaurant. I can truely exemplifies that the Golden Tulip Hotel (same hotel chain) in Lübeck recommend in December 2008 visit, we had. read more
