The house is informally run and no anonymous box, the staff very friendly and good communication in English or German. The room with a balcony was big enough, the closet spacious and with hangers well stocked. The shower fell a bit narrow from, although we are not the thick include. Food was delicious and plentiful, the beach very near and well maintained. 2 loungers and a sun screen there is for 6 €on the day.
The nightlife finds however rather in Rethymnon instead, which 2 kilometer away. We had for 5 days a car rented (right opposite of the hotel ... in greenways), and had with this hotel a great starting point for our exploring, as we not always only through the chaotic OneWay had to drive. If you didn't even want to drive, are in the street several agencies, where you excursions can book (also much cheaper than on the tour operator with the welcome cocktail). read more

Whoever had no high have expectations and friendly staff, a great pool and a very nice open-air bar is, is right at home here. To the beach it are only a couple of steps, a supermarket borders just at the hotel. read more

Friendly atmosphere, employees are very nice. Excellent breakfast and dinner (both buffet), huge variety (e.g. 3 choices of meat + fish, always fruits, vegetables), empty positions always get refilled. Rooms get cleaned every day, always new sheets, towels. Every area in the hotel is clean. The beach is not far away. read more

The hotel is the east end in a side street at the beach promenade. To the center from Rethymnon it is a good 30- one minute walk. Taxi - (5,00 Euro to to the harbor) and bus station are in immediate near the hotel, also several supermarkets and a bank.
From the outside the hotel makes, in the lobby, in the field of the pool, at the bar, as well as in the inner courtyard, in the Fed can, a good and clean impression. The design of the by myself inhabited room was, with exception the mattress, however have ... already gotten very old. At the beginning of the vacation the room was well cleaned. The daily cleaning the room was then however quite superficially. The towels were on request changed daily. Safe and fridge in the room are extra charge liable (2,00 Euro per day). The German channel is on RTL limited. The prices in bar and restaurant are OK. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The hotel guests mostly French, Russians and German. If only a hotel need to stay and occasionally evenings a few hours at the bar to spend would like, is there in good hands. Who however the vacation exclusively in the hotel and at the pool to spend wants (such people there are really), should another hotel choose. read more

This vacation was a total letdown. The booked room was not obtainable as it was overbooked. The front desk only spoke english. For 3 days we moved in Dimitrios village, then we should to the hotel move. But that was a fehlmeldung. More 3 days live out of a suitcase, the annoying. Then came the message, on a note through the door crack itmay, immediately. The rep from the hotel Dimitrios we never saw them, they never care of us. Only through the commitment of travel Dimitrios village we could the vacation reasonably spend and the room continue to benefit. ... As a comparison for the unacceptable conditions gave us for 3 days free of charge with a car. As mentioned, this rl. Had nothing to do with us. After we personally two phone calls with a Neckermann run had, we had peace in the chaos. Altogether we were 3 communications under the door hindurchgeschoben. Everything in english written. Must for every german tourists perfect the english language?
I am of the opinion that it is of course, that hotels, wherever, several languages have. Else could for example in Berlin hardly hotels be occupied.
We like Greece and the islands very, have already had much travelled.
Rethymnon is always worth a trip, however never again Dimitrios hotel. read more

Three stars hotel is very clean and informally run. The room we had net and by the size more than adequate. It was always thoroughly cleaned. Towels and bed sheets were changed daily. The breakfast was very rich and it was constantly refilled. We had with half board booked, it was a varied cold-warm buffet with many salads, different noodle courts and cakes offered. read more

The staff is nice and friendly. The rooms are quite small, but clean. Unfortunately no German TV-channels except for RTL 2 and with poor reception. If you want to eat seven days salad, this is the place to be. Everything else is simply and without much taste diamond (little variety). In addition the cats walked around in the dining room :-(if you wanted a seaside holiday Bay, on Crete Island is well cared for. The cleanliness of the restaurant was found to be an absolute plus. There are plenty of restaurants, where one can go well to meals. read more

If you money want rausschmeissen, should book in Dimtrios beach Hotel in Rethymnon. The hotel is located in the third row, so no beach view (from the room directly at the backyard), the rooms are very simply furnished, the bathroom is very small (we had to share with cockroaches), the Verhehrsanbindung is rather moderate (bus runs every 20 minute-taxis went on strike) and the highlight was the food. I have never experienced something like that, that one simple food with little taste as this chef can prepare.
Only the service in the hotel was very good, from room service to ... service at the meals (although I Niko Undersecretary and the nice gentleman behind the bar very should like to highlight). read more

all in all you can the hotel as' good ' designate, at least it is a three star hotel and not a luxury hotel with an appropriate standard. The hotel seemed always clean. The wahsrooms outside were cleaned daily and thus always without hesitation to use. In our time of vacation were few German, but French, Swiss and Russians present. read more

Here you can enjoy a real dream vacation experience as a couple.
The regular rooms are large (for three people), with tv, fridge, safe and air conditioners laid out. Cleaning was done every day and very thorough. A tip: enter the cleaning staff a small tip the and you will be surprised, as their rooms to be cleaned top (with daily sheet change and extra towels, etc.)
At the front desk were many languages spoken. English is understood by everyone. The manager of the hotel, from afternoon even sit at the front desk, speaks German and will, in any ... problems, and advice, on hand.
Since I served each morning in the old town to the cappuccino drink dangers am, I can't say the breakfast of the hotel. The dinner however was very extensive. Several dishes to choose from daily menus are available. A very large salad bar, and an extensive dessert (dessert) complete the whole. The beverages must be paid.
The hotel pool was cleaned every day. I can't say anything about it but author, as I went to a nearby beach (two minutes). On the beach you will have to pay the beach chairs and umbrellas. The city center (Old town), the evening stroll around three-kilometer from the hotel should be. We loved the position of the hotel learned to appreciate. You could reach the beach in less than a 5 min walk. Lots of restaurants, bars and supermarkets are in the immediate vicinity. A public parking the car is located on the beach. To the center of Rethymnonthere it was about 45 minute walk, or we are providing a taxi for 5 euros one way. Despite its location on a busy road our room was quiet. The hotel feel like it was newly renovated and a new annex was the Bauendphase. But it wasn't affect at all. The size and ... the furniture in the rooms is functional and enough. The bathroom and especially the shower is small. For the room safe, and refrigerator in the room you paid extra (each 2 EUR/day). The friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff - and especially the bartenders - is very positive. The cleanliness is also positive note. The rooms were cleaned every day and the towels changed upon request. The pool was cleaned every day. The entire hotel seemed very well kept. The food was traditional, down to earth and very good. The choice of the dishes was adequate and there was something for everyone (noodles, meat, fish, vegetables and salad bar). The buffet was regularly replenished, both early and in the evening. For a hotel of the 3 star rating it great value for money. We felt very comfortable. For people who are mostly in the hotel or at the hotel pool, however, the space in the pool and around was rather modest. Entertainment was not available during our stay. The beach itself is very nice. Very long sandy beach ( with pebbles, beach shoes were recommendable) and not crowded. But that will change in the direction of Rethymnon. The hotel does not have its own There's indeed a beach area with sun beds and umbrellas. But it is possible to a beach set for 7 Eur a day to rent. Tip: you could book excursions better with the local organizers, because they have discounts. read more

Five years ago now my family and I will regularly in this hotel. The very good location provides many activities, such as we could for example every evening enjoy a nice walk into town (about 30 minutes walk away), the beach is in the immediate vicinity. The atmosphere in the hotel also always wears a very relaxing holiday. We always had the feeling to be well looked after. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. We found our room daily in a clean condition and on the whole resort is probably Gepflegtheit put a lot of effort. Overall the ... Dimitrios hotel found the descriptions in the brochure. From our point of view it is especially by a very good value for money definitely recommend this hotel to others. read more

The hotel is very basic. The rooms are mostly either across from a wall in the basement, on the street or thick across the street. We had a room across the street from the balcony was only about 5 meters away. The hotel is not suitable for families with small children. Most of the very small pools, especially the kids pool, is in the shade all day long. The limited loungers also get sun time, are close to each other. We liked it but that didn't bother us, since we because of the sea to Crete. The distance to the sea is just 150 meters. The hotel is located approximately 80 meters from the beach in a side street. Upon check in you will friendly and competent way. Overall the hotel is, for 3,5 stars, very good. Beach in approximately 80 meters away, quiet location, qualifizirte, friendly staff, spoke German/English. Less good small shower stall and not in all double rooms GIB's Mouskitonetz, refrigerator - 5 euro/day and Saif - 17 Euro/10 days. A little scary was a demente Heimbewohnerin the next door and every morning, in Greek, "Rafaella " Rufte, otherwise the hotel is recommendable. If you 10 or more days, then I would recommend it as no car book in advance, right on the site, is 25-30 Euro/day with air-conditioning, to every corner there's car ... rental, most of them speak English, German. The family-run hotel like us very well. As it is very personal and Greek owner in touch with the tourists are make you feel very comfortable. The kitchen is very good, there is something for every taste. The rooms are comfortable and kept very clean. The beach is only 50 m., and you can go to the beach promenade cozy 2.5 km to Rethymnon walk, with a great view of the harbor and the sea. We love it very good, we will come back to the Dimitrios hotel. read more
