The size of the hotel and the number of rooms is just perfect for a relaxing and pleasant spend your vacation. The condition the hotel and the cleanliness are very good. We had the booked all inclusive, it left nothing to be desired. The guest structure is mixed, with the proportion of italian (about 40%) is what however not unpleasant. read more

    We had comfort is a plus, that means had a double room on the top floor with a view of the pool and on the sea. Perfect! The size of the room was huge, you need on vacation actually not, since one anyway hardly in the room is. We each had a bed (1.80 times 2.20 metres ), the bathroom was spacious and luxurious, huge shower. And as already described before everything very clean. The french balcony had no furniture, as it was very narrow but good enough stand to in the fresh air magnificent suns on course to watch.

    The Viva Wyndham Azteca has a main restaurant (buffet) and 3 a la carte restaurants (italian, japanese, and Maya) which you 3 times per week stay can book. We all have 3 restaurant tested and were very excited by all. Especially the restaurant with the Maya kitchen not known delights prepared.     The service is as probably in all hotels the Viva Wyndham the heart. At friendliness and cleanliness hardly to beat - keep it up! The cleaning ladies were super, everything was always clean and with small figures, we were every day the new surprised. The foreign language skills (english and german) are with the staff the front desk available, the staff is the fun them german to teach and the mexican teach us spanish, we have every day a small contest hosts who more learned. The one complaint which we had in 3 weeks had was immediately taken care of.

    The Viva azteca has two entertainment team, an italian and an international. They work very well together and it is fun with the young people what-it is but no one forced. Very good! The condition of the pool and the beach were great, there was enough chairs and shade if one in time at the beach was (until about 09:00 a. m.). Unfortunately there is always guests, the at 04:00 o'clock the loungers 'reserve and then at 12:00 o'clock the beach visit, must not be and brings only bad blood, not true your french guests!

    The Viva azteca is about 60 kilometer west from Cancun airport, directly at a beautiful fine sandy beach in playacar. The place Playa del Carmen with everything the heart desires it was about 2 kilometer, on foot approximately 20 minutes by cab a trip cost 70 Peso.     Very nice spacious rooms with a large bathroom with a toilet, shower on the ground floor with large rain shower. A lot of counter space for cosmetics and so on. Hair dryer available. The rooms are modernly furnished with king-size bed, flat screen tv and a balcony, the however somewhat was small. One could not stay there, because there was no chair draufpaßte.     The location the beautiful resort is wonderful, directly on the caribbean sea, at a great beach with palm trees and parasols. The distance to Playa del Carmen is about 2 kilometer, but we always with the taxi (70 pesos = circa 4,50 Euro) back to have put. The place is quite nice, lots of souvenir shops, restaurants, bars and so on. Also near the hotel (10 minutes on foot) there is a small shopping arcade with all kinds of shops, a lot of jewelry. In the hotel evening was usually something going on, on thursday is in the evenings always 'markttag' on the Plaza in the hotel. In the evening plays a mariachi chapel for entertainment. Excursions could be with the travel guide book in the hotel. You can also in the hotel money exchange. There is no big difference between the change places.

In march we were for 10 days in the Viva Wyndham Azteca and were completely contented. Great room, great food and totally pleasant and polite staff, we were always greeted in a friendly manner! We have several trips around the country and the people to meet, if you want fun, culture and are looking for action on the Maya encounter tour in very good hands. The drahtseilfliegen, abseiling, swimming in Cenote. Was absolutely awesome! We have the Jeep Tour in the nature reserve, the bus to chichen itza and a day at the x-caret park. We have the Viva Wyndham azteka for a 5-day anschlussaufenthalt a circa 14-day trip through Mexico booked. The hotel has approximately 270 rooms, over 3 floors. During our stay we mostly germans and italians, as well as americans and canadians found. The structure is well mixed, but we hardly any children saw. A big minus of the hotel is the poor internet connection. There is wi-fi only in the lobby and the internet is itself only very bad. Also negative is the liable to pay the costs safe. Here requires the hotel 2 us $ per day. We stayed during ... our trip in many hotels, the partly. A much worse standard. Everywhere there was free wi-fi in the room and a free use of the safes. read more

Good hotel directly at a great white Karibik beach in playacar, around 15 minutes away on foot from the commercial area of Playa del Carmen. Good animation offer. Mostly american, but also many european tourists. The food was good and varied, our room was clean and very big directly at the beach with view to the sea. The staff is generally very attentive and courteous. Safe is only for a fee bookable. Can criticize you, that wireless internet only against extreme charges and not for everyone was available. The hotel has us totally surprised. (in the positive sense ), the whole staff was very friendly and always around the welfare the vacationer concerned. The food was simple fantastic (huge selection at the buffet). Every morning champagne in the romantic landscaped courtyard. The italian à la carte restaurant you should definitely visit. The pool bar with sea view was the absolute best (24 hours open). The whole garden is beautifully designed and very neat. The rooms are very spacious cut were cleaned daily and lovingly decorated with towels and flowers. Super short distance to the beautiful beach. The sunrise ... is impressive. We will definitely again back-this is officially. 100% for Wyndham azteca. read more

The hotel has us in every aspect surprised; we did not so well expected. Especially good is the maintenance of the whole area in terms of cleanliness, maintenance and service. The double room including bathroom is large and well equipped. No matter wether it the cleaning staff, the restaurationsservice or the front desk subject, the friendly atmosphere was positively noticeable. The food around the hour was very excellent and varied. Especially pleasant was the possibility outside food. The 4 star status we would after our experience on 4.5 stars lift. Conclusion: our recommendation 100%. read more

The hotel borrowed at the universe inclusive mile in Playa del Carmen. The rooms are renovated relatively recently and are nice. The beach is the water fantastic from. But unfortunately throw the people here early in the morning their hand towels over the loungers and rservieren this-this was not very nice! The animation was we mainly italian. The entertainers were sometimes very annoying and unprofessional. You get really the whole time something to eat and drink when you want. Also at the pool bar you always get pizza, tacos or other tasty snacks. Also to get a drink you plentiful. ... But unfortunately no small bottles of water for the beach or the teeth. Water can at the small conditions 3 minutes on foot away buy. There are many (4 or 5) theme restaurants in which one free food. One must only egg the front desk log in. We enjoyed the asian restaurant the taste was the best. The staff at the bar or in the restaurants was very nice and attentive. And at the bars you can even get the original drinks (Bacardi, captain Morgan and so on.) And no cheap imitations. The pool is a bit small but otherwise ok. The whole complex seemed well-kept and there are also merry animals on the way. Our room was near the pool. It can already sometimes louder evenings, but it stops in borders. Unfortunately leaked from our air conditioning 2 times water in the bathroom. But it was always very quick a technician and after 2. attempt to it was also good. If you to Playa del carmenwill you can rent a bike at the hoteloder walk. Also further trips become right on the hotel offered. Result: great beach/sea, much to eat and drink, beautiful rooms and except for a few small weaken does not exist much to complain about. read more

We really liked the hotel. We deliberately for a rather smaller and more intimate hotel. When we at the beach along and with other hotels saw, how crowded the beach sections are, we were very glad, that our hotel is different. At the beach really is lots of space. There are many beach chairs and umbrellas available. But unfortunately also here the morning reserve from 6:00 a. m. took place. Positive emphasized should be the free wi-fi-access in of the lobby up to the bar and the restaurant. read more

    We had one of the renovated rooms in the block b. the condition so it was very good. Also to the cleanliness there are nothing to complain about, it was daily thoroughly cleaned. As i-tüpfelchen there was every day another towel-figure ☺ The only, the us a bit was missing, was a bigger balcony; there is mostly a french balcony. Here you can only. On the ground floor there are terraces.

    The location is very good. One is on foot within 20 minutes at the beach along and 25 minutes the street along in Playa del Carmen. Taxi only took about 3 minutes and costs 70 pesos. In Playa del Carmen is very busy, lots of shops (mostly souvenir shops) and restaurants. Moreover, the 'Plaza playacar' only a few minutes' walk away. Here there are likewise to a few souvenir shops, a car rental and a Starbucks. The settlement 'playacar' is very nice. Everything is green and on the one hand there are the hotels and on the other you see nice houses. If you a variety of go on excursions would like, is this hotel relatively centrally. The distance to Tulum is approximately 1 hour and to Cancun, so to the airport, about as long.

The hotel is in the playacar - hotel area from Playa del Carmen right on the sandy beach. To Pedestrian precinct from pdc is per way 20-25 minutes, there you will find mainly textiles all Art, many silberschmuckgeschäfte, various pub, pharmacies (rather drugstores), travel offerers, and small Supermarkets. To the large supermarket 'Walmart' one goes still further 15 minutes Chairs on the beach there were many, but at the latest at 9:30 o'clock are all occupied. The sea is almost always more or less wavy. With strong wind can the strandwelle very high. The entertainment is only in italian ..., english and french and is available on young clientèle ausge- Aligns. You can in both directions at the beach hiking. Right to the nature reserve, the left to the harbor. read more

Hotel and garden area were very clean, a little bit of paradise! Food and drink is good average. The staff is absolutely polite and very friendly - all hotel employees. The guests came from Amerika, Scandinavia, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Italy. The number of italian rose after new year's eve on. Russian guests we have only a few notice. Noticeable only once fall drunk ami's. Guest age of 0- hochbetagt. read more

    Near the rooms you have to the location 8... Some rooms is located in the constant music for the cooling systems the neighboring hotels - and that means: no sleep! Disturbed us the balcony, but you have to honest manner, it is in the catalog described like! Most balconies resemble a kleinknast -but only until shoe size 45! Room and bathroom alright and very clean!

    As already mentioned, great friendly staff. Grounds and rooms very clean. I have the waiters admired, as top with the serious eisentischen and serious eisenstühlen before the buffet zurechtkamen. This is unfortunately a fehleistung of the architect/interior designer! The tables and chairs are hard, cold, without cushions and the plastikstuhlgleiter obviously years ago fallen off. Since few plastic ones survived, the customer now food on the swing-tables and chairs!

    Hotel lies directly at the beach. I would have to say that the beach section with the beautiful palms as the most beautiful of all hotels designate. A major criticism, however, i must write: The water sports (of foreign offerers) has its home right next to the beach. With little waves are the boats are very actively on the way-fast-loud-smelly! We were on the beach felt like on a busy highway and so it smelled also! Paradise in the abgaswolke!

Hi there In january we were in the obengannanten hotel and it was very good. Meal variously and tastily, clean nice and friendly. Very well situated about 15 minutes into town directly at the beach and for the excursions also well situated (see travel tips ) what else could you want I have long time to decide something negative to find and will not attempt at low water pressure in the shower (irony from). The hotel you can absolutely recommend. read more

We have been for the 7. time at the riviere Maya and in comparison to all previous hotels, the Viva azteca (in contrast to Maya) definitely reasonable. Special advantage: you is on foot quick (20 minutes on foot) in Playa del Carmen. Free bike rental from 09:00 to 15:00 for a maximum of three hours. So one is completely independent of taxis and minibusses were to. If it nevertheless times fast into town should go, so that it is about 5,-Euro per drive really good served. Very pleasant hotel, less than the other hotels in playacar, but it very easy going. Requests/complaints were dealt with immediately. We have on arrival on 28-12-2012 a room in block a with a view of the neighboring hotel and close to the nightly entertainment of our hotel can provide. Both the extremely loud generator the neighboring hotels, as well as the very loud evening entertainment (about 22 hours until 23 o'clock local time) have really bothered us. Because we with a child traveled and the time still messing (we were at 20 o'clock all tired) we asked for a different ... room asked, which we also received. This was very nice and quiet in the block b and newly renovated. Other than that, we enjoyed in the 9 days a total of three excursions about the hotel (Viva-travel) joined in to Tulum and coba (a day), to chichen itza and valladolid (a day) and in the lagoon Xel-Ha. All three tours were fantastic, but the Maya-sites-visit for our child a bit of a hassle. Gladly we would have a couple more more days we could have stayed longer. To the hotel itself has a lot of other travelers written. The very positive impression i can only confirm! Alltogether it was a dream holiday and we will again this year around christmas, new year's day to Mexico flies. The country offers simply so much culture and nature. read more

We have here a very nice 'winter holiday' at 30° air and 27° water temperature at a caribbean kilometer long dream beach and in a highly recommended all inclusive-resort hotel experience. A comprehensive all inclusive offer we have the first time met. Here are amongst others also the specialities -restaurants with 5-course menu on 5 *- niveua all inclusive. The Viva Wyndham Azteca is informal and comfortable designed as the nearby and also usable sister hotel Viva Wyndham Maya. If the burdensome 12-hour flight and the 9,5-hour return flight were not we would again next year here have a ... vacation. read more

We were satisfied all around. Particularly worthy of mention was the pool bar, the 24 hours was open. You could at every time of day and night delicious drinks (also alcohol) get. Snacks stood also at any time ready. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis, staff were very friendly. With the taxi one was in 5 minutes in the town. read more

Very clean and well-kept hotel area, also the beach is cleaned daily, swept and the sufficient made available couches organized. Set up. Incredible 24 hours hospitality. Better all inclusive not. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is unfortunately not for vacationers suitable, the peace want. The animation at the pool starts at 10:00 and after two hour lunch break it goes on. At the beach disturb the noise and the fumes smell by motor boats and the permanently back and forth driving jet ski's (minutes six piece). read more
