We were there at the beginning of january for a short winter holiday in finkennest. Especially our 5-year-old daughter liked it really enjoyed. We played nearly daily the hotel and free ski bus to the winter sports region Meran 2000 use it. The ski area is for children very recommendable, our daughter there is the ski kindergarten visit. The wellness facilities at the finkennest felt very much. There is a spacious sauna area with resting room and a large indoor pool with a separate children's pool. The hot tub on the terrace with stunning view of the snowy mountain world ... me and my husband especially pleased. We booked a 2-room-suite the big enough and super equipped. Also the bathroom was spacious and has shower and bath tub, which for us was very convenient. We had to request a great window seat in the restaurant received. The food has we all tasted good, our small over the children's meals were very happy to receive, and i am referring, in particular, on the dessert area! We can the finkennest really recommend it and will surely soon find themselves book there again. read more

Großzűgige area with very comfortable geráumigen suites.
We were with our 3 kids and they have been approximately wohlgefűhlt.
The hotel for the furnishings and situation very good value leistungsverháltnis.
For us it was especially important a 3 room suite booked, which even a kűche had.
We found everything clean and correct and very beműhte staff. read more

We were with our two children a week in Schenna in finkennest and we felt very good there. The rooms are huge and equipped with a kitchenette. By the furnishings for babies in the room like for instance baby crib, baby bathtub, jars and bottle warmers we could a lot at home i, which was very convenient. The food, especially the dinner, we all tasted very good, there was a lot from local kitchen. At the baby porridges there were homemade and various brand hip.
Through the free baby care and the varied child care we could parents us in ... the spa area excellent relaxation. A highlight is jacuzzi on the terrace with breathtaking view. A large compliment to the masseuse, the very professional and friendly and well advised. Especially the staff has us the vacation special made, everybody was very attentive and our wishes was always quickly. read more

Never in this hotel again. The manager yells at high decibel were the staff for the guests at. Also is the food very monotonous and cheap cooked. The breakfast buffet even the hard bread from the day before. Always only aufbackwaren of moderate quality. The guest notices quickly, that everywhere by the chef saved. Not even cream for ice gives it. The mattresses on the bed were extremely hard. Also the air in the whole hotel much too dry. The atmosphere for a 4 star wellness hotel is very bad. Only the very! Good staff (mrs Carmen the beauty, the ... waiters and the rezeptionmittarbeiterinnen ) have the vacation still a bit saved. The child care went with the kids, not even to the fresh air. In the weekly programme were playground visit and walk listed. Shame about the money! read more

We were last year in this hotel and we liked it very much, therefore, we have a 2. time.
Unfortunately no comparison to last year!
The chef and thus the food were in the spring great, now a disaster!
I can Jacqueline only follow, only the waiters has us somewhat saved.
Much praise goes to Ingo & keyla!
Who so hard works and but still exploited, yelled at me and badly paid, has real worthy of respect! I would have liked this boss no 2 days given!
The absolute coronation/culmination was our bathroom, which was totally verschimmelt!
New year's eve ... have the guests their sparkling wine must order (which hotel owner does so what?)
And then also still from the ordered bottle only a glass get!
And i could many more enumerate.,but i think it is enough, in order to this hotel for this price in absolutely no way to book!
Never again, absolute waste of money! read more

We were in our christmas vacation in finkennest. For us it was one of the most beautiful vacations. A wonderful location with a view of the valley, good service and good food, and a good child care the days very pleasant made. Bravo, keep it up. read more

We were to 2 time there and it was very good. Our accommodation was the donna kenina suite, which was very tastefully and comfortably furnished. Generally the whole hotel from the equipment in the rooms, over the restaurant to sauna- and wellness area very equipped with high quality. There was at nothing was saved. Our 6-year-old daughter was fully in the element, either in the beautiful kids club, which was a beautiful, varied offer offers, or the horse riding on the totally good haflinger horse and ponies, or at the dreamlike hikes in the original nature. You get in any ... case beautiful tours at the front desk recommended, or the hikes with the family participate. Everywhere you can in mountain huts again and delicious food. As a highlight we then took a tandem excursion with the paraglider made, which we all three will be charged again would do-) and not to forget one is in 10 minutes in Meran and can also great stroll and shop, or also very nice eat out, during the children the kids' club under food. Meran had much Italian flair, Schenna is typically South Tyrol.
Also the service in the restaurant from finkennest is extremely good-attentive, personally, friendly. It is just a hotel for children and thus in many respects with children simply stress free, if small sometimes are louder, or hurry around and nevertheless you must not on luxury and nice ambiance do. We are definitely coming again! read more

The finkennest is a paradise for children - in this hotel allow kids/babies still children/babies are. For the idea and the implementation is due to of the family Finch a large radix complement. With a great infrastructure in the room the hotel offers also the building very much: large playground, mini zoo, jacuzzi, beautiful terraces, etc. For our baby we found in the suite everything necessary before. Big praise to the kitchen staff - the dishes were very diverse and qualitatively excellent. Also in the dining hall there is a large offer for the smallest! From the staff particularly positive ... we noticed next to the kitchen staff the Gregor ( bar, service), as well as the Sabrina ( front desk). Only point of criticism in our opinion concerns the homeowners. Unfortunately, that conflicts/Internal Affairs with the staff for the guests and the public are to be played. It is to feel, that the employees very difficult and in the meantime, 'thick air' prevails. Apart from the said atmosphere we recommend the finkennest in any case. read more

The hotel lies above castle Schenna with dreamlike view over the valley. The complex is clean, the staff friendly. Guests are especially families, nationalities: austrians, italians, German. The staff are 2-speaking (German and Italian). In spite of the many families with most small children, it was quiet. We had booked all inclusive, to the lunch we cannot however nothing say, the we didn't use. in the dining room there was a playhouse for children, what very pleasant was, as a -course menu nevertheless somewhat attracts. There is a roof terrace with chairs included grown protection from the sun for the ... face. read more

After the telephone booking a suite in this alleged four star hotel we expected, that the guaranteed cribs for our -year-old twins ready. Instead we had to a room wait, until the receptionist after several construction to abandoned, the beds together in a separate bedroom to put. Afterwards was in so-called living room a 'camp' for our older son jury-rigged, a crib in the bedroom and one in the other bedroom set up-' great' division. We were then offered, the beds in 2. bedroom to remove (?), the cribs re-establish and so on. All these, after we at the check-in ... only 15 minutes to wait, the room key were not found, the remote control to the garage only after the 3. Exchange worked etc., etc., etc. To end on a good note we had to say, that in a bedroom a extreme feuchtigkeitsgeruch was (after we the window closed), the impossible, the room to use. A gerufener technician confirmed a damage caused by water in the last few days, probably the cause for this odor was. After all these facts, we wanted to a different room. When then the owner himself was called, this only once efficient bawled at, pointed out, that the room still so new is, that we have still not paid off is, the odor yes not at all that bad and the circumstances at the check-in really ridiculous would be. Mr F. then when leaving the suite door slammed and afterwards called, it would us for one night a different room give. We then received, are one night there remained and were glad, that we the next morning this 'friendly' hotel could leave.
To the quality of the kitchen we can only say, that the dinner, the we have seen, is fortunately only the only was. read more

Approximately 7 years old hotel is distinguished by a perfect view over Meran and environment. In spite of the many families it is in the hotel complex quiet. The other guests you can hear very little. The rooms are big and clean; we had a private kitchen, what is very recommendable when traveling with a small child. The guests are too many German, italians and austrians and almost exclusively families with children. read more

Altogether a great summer vacation with lots of possibilities from the hotel. Good food, great location with heerlichem view. Merely evenings at the bar as empty swept, as many families with Kleinkinden. Guest parking in the underground garage a bit complicated. Very friendly staff and Mr Finch shows interest for their guests and leads good wine tasting by ;-) read more

Recorded family hotel with small children. Not only because of the nice location and good child care, but also because of the great service and, in particular the kitchen ( boss Tsavi ) the high quality offers for gourmets. The price is definitely not low (as almost everywhere in Tirol) but our opinion: worth it! read more

The hotel, as well as the service are perfect. There are some small but. For example one mother said may be, the vegetables- or fruits in the homemade porridge are. Our small could not sit. Here we would have us places to sit the rest is desired. They sat in a seesaw on the bench, was so not with us at the table and was always very quickly resdess. The food was simply excellent, however we could the served courses not enjoy as you deserve. We would be buffet practical been. read more

We were never so rude in a family hotel received, the pleasure of our one-week vacation already spoiled. Normally the children also warm welcome and possibly a gift. There unfortunately nothing at all. The buffet in the evening was around 19:45 already empty vacated and was not refilled. Food was oK, but not blown away.
The homemade baby porridge were standing there and were already completely agglutinated. When we complained, the owner, the staff above all guests reprimanded. Simply impossible handling with the staff and is therefore understandable the staff were not better. But so what that is unacceptable ... in a family hotel!
Fortunately we were able to after a day back out and did not a week since spend!
The room but was immaculate and since we couldn't beanstanen. Apart from before the room as disgusting after smoke stank. Also there could one with a fresh fragrance to. read more

Contrary to our last two vacation was the manager of the hotel this year constantly present and very friendliness hard. Our complaint concerning the heating was fixed promptly. The food is good and diverse except for the morning scrambled eggs, the daily burned were. Our suite Dolasillas is generous and with three children absolutely sufficient. The view was by the slope of the hotel unique. The child care was all right we will like to come again. read more

The finkennest is our second experience regarding family hotel with our 11 Monte old son: a very nice and beautifully located hotel in very good and well-kept condition. It is also mainly from families visited and in our opinion family-friendly facilities. A few smaller deficit
- in the pool Field no Wasserspielzeuge for children / Toddlers (also on demand has not undertaken). Also the swimming pool for children is a little deep and from our point of view not so suitable for babies - apart from that are wellness and pool area very nice and well maintained
- no safety ... socket covers in the rooms
- there are in addition to the hip offer also homemade food for babies and infants-unfortunately the choice was clear-the ' Selstgemachten ' a mixed vegetables and a Obstmischung, at the hip packaged food mix maybe 3 different sorts.
The staff are consistently very, very friendly and attentive been: what us as not very beautifully noticeable is the deal of the hotel owner with the workforce. Several times in the presence of guests waiter or receptionist in unpleasant way reprimanded, although in our opinion not necessary and not at all in the presence of guests ( in earlier reviews I had once read that the staff every year switches). This' style ' will unfortunately prevent neither the hotel recommendable still there again to go back. read more

The hotel has a pleasant size and was in a good and clean condition. The locked services( breakfast, small lunch, cake buffet and 5-course choice menu in the evening) were more than satisfactory. The guest structur from Italienert (too many), Swiss, German and a few Austrians together. There were only families present, whose children mostly still small childor were pre-schoolers. read more
