Very run down hotel, The windows and drapes were really filthy. Breakfast was cold, a self service buffet. and very cheap products Location is good, city central. The Lounge on the first floor COULD be made very special, when we stayed there was nobody using it read more

The hotel Alexander thomson is located on the edge downtown Glasgow in Argyle street, one of the main streets. The train station Glasgow central is also in the immediate area. A bus stop is also not far away. My room was large and comfortable furnished. The breakfast buffet was varied and tasteful. The building was both from the outside, as well as from the inside a little more than ageing from, but you can live with that, because the rooms were clean and in a relatively good condition. Staff friendly and accommodating. Although the building in the immediate near train station is, it was 10:00 p. m. very quiet. There are shops plentiful, restaurants are not far away, you could reach everything good on foot. For a short journey or a city trip we would this book this hotel again at any time. read more
