Hotel with good value for money. Breakfast however in one of the cafes right around the corner. Buffet is not very sumptuous and the bread rolls were not fresh, but from the packing (as Hofer, spar, BILLA, etc..).
Location of the hotel is Even noteworthy. You are literally directly in the center bologna-right next to the hotel there are cafes and bars ( the latter have until 1 open ).
Great roof terrace with a great view over Bologna and the surrounding countryside-with its own bar/cafe.
Rooms are reduced furnished-one finds however everything necessary ( tv, safe...)

Ideal for visiting located!
Disturbing were the loudness by toilet and shower in the neighboring room
It would help a instruction, that shower from 23 to 6 o'clock is not allowed.
2 loungers on the beautiful roof terrace are too few. read more

The front desk and the elevator could use some updating/updated. It looks very old-fashioned looking. The stairwell didn't seem to have just been renovated. read more

Great hotel, lovely staff and service. Right in the center of the old town of Bologna, so you could have disturbances. If you ask for a quiet room, you can get a room at the back of the building. Big room, it will be cleaned every day and once checked and may be tidy / toilet paper refilled etc. Tip: at the front desk about a good place to eat ask! So prevents you in the 'tourist strip' paying too much. So a good advice, are served as kings for a very fair price. read more

The Best Western San Donato is located right in the middle of the old town of Bologna. To the Torre Asinelli are less than 100 meters. This is about the best but unfortunately, we can say about this hotel. The old town continues in the hotel fort. It has it all been place for a short time and in need of renovation. The rooms are very small and extremely noisy. The bathroom is for two people are even 1 set of earplugs. That's says it all. Our nice Italian neighbor was with a striking agree with good until 1 am ... to understand. The breakfast was on days, where the hotel is not full, well. On the Sunday morning but with full load, a disaster. It wasn't refilled and it was almost impossible to get a seat. All in all, extremely expensive for the offered "performance". 100 - 120 euros per night this place would be easily have been paid. The hotel will call but the double. The only bonus, as I said, the excellent location. read more
