The hotel Taormina is in a central location in Rome to find. From the main railway station Termini are approximately 10 minutes away on foot to the hotel. The great location allows, most of the sights to reach on foot. To Kolosseum you would walk around 20 minutes. The hotel is clean, the rooms decorated up to date. At our travel time were guests of many Nation represented, especially english and german. read more

    The hotel room was big enough. Especially the bath surprised by its spaciousness. Safe and telephone available. Our room faced the side street and was very loud. The windows are not really geräuschhemmend. The whole decor was maintained, the rooms lovingly decorated (paint, decoration etc.).

    In the hotel Taormina only breakfast. The breakfast unfortunately leaves-as with all of our Italy-travel - much to be desired. The coffee comes from the, already several times mentioned, pluvermaschine. We personally, unfortunately, he has not at all tasty. There are two juices, unfortunately also only ' anrührsaft'. Also tea bags stand ready. Otherwise you will find bread rolls (dry), croissants (sugars) and zwieback before. In addition various spreads as cheese, various jam and chocolate spread. All in all a quite sparse facilities and for a good start to the day unfortunately not recommendable. In general we would on our next Rome-visit a hotel without breakfast select, as it on every corner cosy cafes are, the in the morning good deals with, for example, coffee and pastries,.

    The staff is friendly. The towels were on request changed daily, in the 5 days our stay was 1 time the bed linen exchanged. Otherwise was the room very clean. The rezeptionisten were always very friendly. Directly to the front desk stands the guests a computer with internet access available, as well as free wi-fi.

    With the Leonardo-express leads in 30 minutes from the airport (fuimicino ) to the central station and after 10 minutes foot march one is also already in the hotel. A metro-stop you will find right around the corner. A tram stop is directly in front of the hotel (so unfortunately very loud). Less figure-friendly is close proximity to excellent gelateria ' cafe ' - about 20 meters away from the hotel. The hotel is located in as already mentioned 'asian quarter'. We personally found this to be not so bad, since we also on, for example, Trastevere the one or another weird gesalt over the way ran. At night it was not, in the nearby located park to go. Plus is definitely the central location, the much to reach on foot can.

In january we had for 4 days booked. The hotel is from the main railway station to reach on foot, however, the hotel is in a not so nice asian quarter. A metro station is directly opposite, subway on the next corner. The Kolosseum is reachable on foot. The hotel staff are very friendly and at the front desk also english speaking. The rooms are very small but clean the bathroom is great. Overall a good and cheap hotel! read more

Great hotel the for a city break in this price range really recommendable is. It is centrally located (10 minutes on foot from the kolosseum and on foot from the train station 15 minutes). The only fault was the coffee-machine. There, there are soluble coffee in each variant, whether espresso or Cappuccino but none of them tasted. But if you in Rome is then drink you as so often in the day an espresso in a bar and the price from 0.70 to 1 €you can coffee in the early bear. read more

    The first 2 nights we stayed in a double room facing the street there. Of the decor and the size of the room everything okay, however from the street was it was very noisy (despite the closed windows). So we have for the remaining days after a courtyard room asked. The change was without any problems possible and this rooms were we also very impressed. Both bedrooms, as well as bath very big and really decorated up to date. Cleanliness also perfect. In the room there is a flat-screen tv, but neither german nor english channels.

    We had booked accommodation with breakfast, but in the entire week only 2 times taken into account, since there was neither of the quality, from the quantity it was ok. That it was only packaged foods for breakfast offers is yes for italian standards alright, but if at least the coffee (there was instant coffee) and the breads (dry and tough) ok would have been, we might have often had breakfast... There was also not only sweet spreads, also prank/ Cheese was for offer.

    The hotel is really well situated. 15 minutes away from the main railway station. You can but also direct on the other side of the road by bus or tram, the every few minutes to come. The slightly seedy area did not. It is a pure asian district, in the hardly italian consort. At the nearby metro-stop 'Vittorio Emmanuele' there is a park, the you because of Unsavoury individuals not more after dark entering should. After 20 o'clock in the evening one has not a good feeling more, From the main railway station to the hotel to walk.

The hotel is conveniently located nearby the subway station Vittorio emanuele, a tram runs from Termini also there. The staff were very friendly and helpful and my room requirement was fulfilled. It was furthermore simple and tastefully furnished. It would have also very quiet can be, would not be the walls are as thin as paper. So thin, that you put your neighbors left and right cough hear can, from the klogeräuschen not to mention. As helped also no ear plugs. The warm water supply was also lacking. Cleanliness was ok, only the soap dish was dirty when i arrived. ... Then on following day cleaned. The breakfast was rather poor, not once right coffee there was, only really disgusting brown broth from the automat. And the juice was not juice, but with water mixed sherbet, very disgusting. At least there was tea and real rolls. Some so it was ok, altogether the hotel i would but not recommended, as the walls are thin. read more

Hotel we can recommend. Especially for German speaking guests very important: two front desk employee speak German. In the entrance area there is a computer for the guests available, especially for the web -check in perfect;-) read more

    We stayed in a small, but comfortable room, the renovated and was very welcoming. Also the bathroom convinced by cleanliness.

    Since the southern regions europe's anyway not for a sumptuous breakfast are known, is the offer compact and mainly consisted of prepackaged ( sweet) foodstuffs. If you like firm in the day starts, is disappointed. Also fruit and vegetables missing.

    In the immediate area from the subway-station 'vittoria' the hotel lies easy to reach. The way to the center isn't far and is quick. On the about 10-minutes - on foot from the main station to the hotel is us the right high proportion of ' asian italians' notice. Also a good restaurant is easy to reach, if you on the first evening hungry in the hotel arrives.
