Alw we around about 9:00 P. M. arrived was our room still not ready. Again we had to half an hour wait. Afterwards we got a somewhat small room for three persons ( a shakedown).
We were already several times in this hotel and had larger room.
What something for the inconvenience compensated, is the wonderful terrace with a view of the zocalo. read more

The room was to the patio and very peaceful. But the rooms to the street are not ... also very loud. Here is not a lot of traffic and in Mexico very rare honked.
Except for two beds was still available: coffee Maker, tv, Ironing board, iron, safe, air conditioning, hair dryer and toiletries.
To sit on the outside surface of the roof terrace it was in the morning or evening cold. read more

The hotel is situated in the middle of historic center from Mexico city. The drive from the airport doesn't take long and approximately 180 pesos (about 10 euros).
The staff at the front desk are friendly, helpful and speak very good English.
The condition and the cleanliness in the hotel is very good. Also for breakfast there was enough selection of good quality and for every taste and every day something else.
The rooms are not especially large, but for a few nights it is sufficient perfectly. In every room there is a coffee machine and a kettle with free ... coffee and tea bags. Every day you get two new Bottles water into the bathroom, since the tap water is no drinking water is.
Right close to the hotel is the stop for the ' tourist bus'. Highly recommendable, a first impression from of the city or just from 'A to B' to get. The ticket for the whole day cost 250 pesos (about 15 euros) and you can the whole day check-in and get off so often as you wanted. At least every half hour comes a new bus until 21:00 o'clock.
The hotel is because of the price-performance, but especially due to the excellent location, absolutely recommended for a city break. read more

Large room with two beds as well as large bathroom. Varied shopping possibilities around the hotel. Central location could suffer noise be connected from the Zocalo, though the Klimaanlagezu use the window of the room will open. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for three nights at the holiday inn, and have no complaints at all. Although the English language was rather less, as were all very helpful and always friendly. The rooms are perhaps a little on the small side but for a couple of days they put out. They are clean and comfortable equipped. Because the location was always with a certain noise level to be expected but we were able to sleep well. The breakfast buffet was varied, but partly extremely hot or sweet. But one got along, and was always found something suitable for itself. If you ... for a couple of days to explore Mexico City, I would highly recommend this hotel unlimited. Centrally located and all the major sights are within easy walking distance. The roof terrace is, of course, a highlight-one sits great and had a great view of the historical part of the city as well as the Zocalo. read more

The hotel is great. Disturbing is only, that it only two lifts. When agents gro0en so it takes a very long time, until the goal is. It is also more than annoying, that we constantly had the TV in a total volume in the dining room is turned on. What is there is no matter, the box is always on. read more

Beautiful city hotel in perfect location ( sights and shops in the immediate area). The king-size -bed is a bit small for 2 people ( despite double room), better a room with 2 beds demand. Very friendly staff ( especially front desk). Wonderful roof terrace, on which one breakfast or dinner take can. The restaurant is very recommendable, delicious food and good wine at a reasonable price. A tour with the sightseeing bus one can save confidently, it is, in any case, so that the most time in traffic. read more

We have made a Mexico-trip and our travel agent booked this hotel has for us. It was the first hotel on our Mexico-tour. We were for three nights in the hotel. The five star hotel after Mexican review you could be 3 star hotel according to German standards.
If we again come to Mexico city, we would go again to this hotel, if we including connection a Central hotel to the public transport are looking
The hotel is located on the central square of the ' Zócalo (about 30 meters to the room). It is to the hotel several shopping ... including food and drinks.
The hotel was built in the colonial period. On the downside was for us only, that the room are on the small side. Otherwise the room was well equipped including hair dryer, iron, coffee machine and alarm clock. It was in addition to brush your teeth 1 bottle of mineral water (0.5 l) per person/day. Our room had only one window to the covered patio. Since the air circulation was limited, we have turned the air conditioning at night sometimes.
On the second day we had to change the room, as it allegedly located room to problems with water was come. Both rooms had Windows that covered patio.
The beds were not to soft and cover it with duvets. We were able to sleep well in the beds. All room in Mexico so-called king-size beds, they were very wide the means (if one had been able to sleep also with two people in the restaurant).
The air conditioning was a bit noisy and did not rules on each case we have not seen any difference between high/normal/deep.
The breakfast it was a good and varied hot and cold buffet was taken at the sixth floor roof It has a very nice view on the surrounding mountains on the Zócalo and Popocatepetl Iztaccihuatl twin volcanoes and, as well as the mountains of the Sierra nevada. Breakfast from 7:00 A.M. with us came against 7.15 the sun over the mountains, it was a very beautiful sight for breakfast.
The reception area was nicely decorated. At the reception one has spoke Spanish and english, but no German.
The elevators to the seven floors left a view of the covered patio to.
In four screens free of charge in the Internet.
The hotel had a garage. read more

Very centrally located at the Zocalo in the historical center of Mexico city, this hotel is also at the beginning Mexicoreiseum a first impression of a country to get Mexico. The Zocalo even with the what is going on there, archaeological sites, the Präsidentenpalst with the famous image representations, some small 'Maya market', as well as several other smaller shops, the Cathedral U. S. W. are all within a few meters to reach. The terrace of the hotel, on the breakfast and also on the sat should have also in the evening, offers a unique view of the Zocalo in ... the direction of the presidential palace and if the weather is cheap and the smog low at sunrise or sunset on the mountains in the background with a great view.
The room are rather modest but clean, neat and inexpensive.
The breakfast is good, but you must call for clear, that the much to loud message on normal volume is reduced. read more

The room are very small. The double bed was only 120 centimeter wide. By way of clarification, it was only one. A stool was in the room. The central location is with considerable noise connected. Mostly music is pounded and it sounded from a variety of sources.
Compensate the fantastic roof terrace with view to do on the Zocalo. The breakfast is for Mexican standards very simple but the quality was in order. read more

We had booked to the beginning and the end of our staying at this visit for a couple of nights in a standard double room in this hotel. Both room were the same, but differed substantially: the first room was unreasonable. It was tiny, the bed (only 1.40 m wide) took almost the whole room, it was no room for our luggage and we always had to climb over to on the other side of the room to get. The room was on the street corner to the hotel and the Zocalo. The volume was a disaster, was pounded ... on the Zocalo in the night and sleep was not to think. In addition to that, the room a rickety wooden door that as a connecting door to the next room was given in the room next door apparently was smoking, the smoke through the door in our room and the drumming from the Zocalo at night we was to end in a Mexican movie loudly next door sounded the de. The second stay started then, that we already at the check-in for a quiet room aske read more

We have taken difficult for us, a nice restaurant nearby to find. Since the hotel lies in the middle in the center, you will find more shopping and almost food chains like in big cities is it just as usual. In any case, has us the didn't bother, since we anyway the roof terrace of the hotel recommended. The food was varied and very tasty and the view over the roofs of Mexico city is unbeatable.
Faceless and the room were rather small, but for a trip perfect. The bathroom was rather cute, but the shower was large and everything ... was clean. Only the bed was for two adults rather small and you can tell because the mattress each movement of the other.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Spanish comes with you here is also very well, but the staff spoke good english also.
The room are equipped with all, what you need, inter alia, TV, hair dryer, electrical outlets with us standard, safety deposit box read more
