Very good city hotel, to the center one goes a.15 minutes downhill.
To the beach one drives at the best with a car or motorcycle.

The hotel is to Greek criteria very good. I was in Germany in hotels, the a star more, this hotel however the water not enough could. The room we have stayed in, was relatively small however more than adequate. Around 20 to 25 Meters ². With well functioning air conditioning. The bathroom already very small but clean. Daily cleaning of the rooms and change of towels. Every room has a small balcony or terrace. Thus also for smokers not a problem the room smoke-free to leave. The breakfast buffet there is in a room with lying off, covered terrace. Inside ... non-smoking, outside with ashtrays. The breakfast buffet left for us nothing to be desired. Strandgeher should but a quad, car, or scooter rental. The next beach is however reachable by bus, but 6 kilometer away. Also to Mykonos is the way on footh quite steep, and estimated about 2 kilometer to city center.
Overwhelming against was the friendliness and willingness to help of the hotel staff and above all of the hotel owner Panos, the also a little German. Panos, my many thanks.
Those, the archeological sites in Delphi, Olympia, Ephesus or similar regarded, should the neighboring island Delos however save. Less only Sparta to offer. read more

Small complex in modern kykladenstil with about 30 rooms, a beautiful garden with a pool and jacuzzi and everything was very well-kept. Boss (can little German) and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sufficient, we had a fridge in the room and if a what is missing is a supermarket not far away. The rooms are with air-conditioning, safe, as well as fridge appointed and spacious. The bathroom is clean only the shower is a bit small;-). To Mykonos-city on foot about 10 minutes steep down back with the taxi about, 4€. Location great with the ... rental car one is fast with the beaches ( Agrari and ELIA) and short transfer time from the airport 15 minutes guests were mixed-). I have 2 restaurant tips: Fato -a-mano super food, as well as the staff and boss Sissi and Nikos tavern there is more often the pelican and both true quality and price. read more

The aeolos is situated on the main road above Mykonos town not far from the airport and has a private pick-up service! The management and staff are very nice and helpful! The area is very nice and well maintained, the pool great!
The breakfast is a bit poor for our taste, there was not a lot of choices.
The room was convenient, medium-sized with its own little patio directly at the pool, air conditioning, safe and fridge were available, functioned and cost anything extra!
The charming old town is a rather steep walk (about10 minute) but with a moped ... so easy to do! Furthermore, the hotel is far enough away from the parties in order to get a good nights sleep!
The beaches are equipped with a mobile vehicle easy to reach!
We enjoyed our stay very much and we can recommend the hotel aeolos! read more

Booked the hotel with breakfast. The Aeolos is a small, typical style hotel with 28 rooms, well maintained swimming pool, jacuzzi and a small nice garden. The rooms are functional with fridge and (free) safe. From the cleanliness exemplary - every day fresh bath and towels, every 2. Day new bed sheets. The 1985 . Continually updated is very international and gay-shaped. Pleasant: No entertainment - definitely not adequate for families with children. Free Internet corner. The only drawback: The mattresses could be a little harder. read more

Aeolos hotel is overall a good resort, especially if you don't i.e reception. From the exterior impression was the hotel: It is like a small cycladic art village decorated, the lobby, and the restaurants is pleasant. The rooms are well furnished, but unfortunately, the quality of the mattresses very to be desired. The metal springs dug into the mattress left after one night some traces from the whole body. When you have lower back problems, I would certainly not recommend this hotel. For the price it is actually unacceptable. The bed sheets are changed once in 3 days, which ... also made quite a insult. The manager is friendly and also spoke German well. The breakfast buffet leaves a lot to be desired: one sort of cheese and sausage, boiled eggs, yogurt, tinned fruit, white bread, Orangejuice drinks from powder, coffee, tea and two jams. The TV gets no German channels. From the hotel there is a bus to Elia beach. However, the buses very infrequent, partly several hours. It arrived within 10 - 15 minute walk to the Chora, downtown Mykonos. The hotel is ok, but I wouldn't book again. read more
