We were for the 2. time in this hotel and were again very satisfied. Beatriz Playa and spa is a non brand new, however lovely hotel with interesting architecture. Despite its size it does not the impression a bunker. The noise of the starting and landing planes in the nearby airport we didn't find disturbing. We had a very large, well furnished room with a magnificent view of the sea, the promenade and the pool area. But should the bathroom, the also very clean was, be renovated soon. Positive is the cleaning of the room noticed. The complete staff of ... the hotel was always friendly and helpful. We had despite our marginal spanish no problems what so ever communicating. The offer the food in all restaurants was varied and tasty. For any taste should be something for everyone. The large spa area offers to usual prices a large the offer for massages and other spa treatments. The mainly older guests were international and overall friendly. The few small children were gladly seen. And these small worried a motivated entertainment team. To us a succesful vacation, although the weather the last two days because of a sturmtiefs on the Canary Islands to be desired left. Thanks to all. We will be back. read more

A beautiful big hotel, that was directly next to the airport! The raussehen from the window one believes the plane lands right next to the balcony! Planes but at night didn't hear it! Only if you at the pool einschläfst destroy you every time, if a flight drüberdüst. So close next the hotel, that is nothing. The beach beautifully far sandy beach. Only with the wasserübergang. Lava rocks. So no baden in the sea possible!. Over there you must already a piece of go, with my knee injury. Nothing for me. We wanted to go shopping, the travel guide said ... in an hour to a large shopping center. After a hour. We had just a third covered. With the taxi then again about 10 minutes! Nothing with shopping in the immediate vicinity. Only a sogenantes shopping center with China shops and 2 supermarkets. Nothing exciting. The entertainment only in spanish and english (bad english-don't understand). Food was fine. Had already better food. Conclusion: for retired suitable, which doesnt care about the flight noise, for us it was too boring in the desert! We would not go there again, we enjoyed Fuerteventura much better! read more

After a complaint we were given a magnificent room on the 3. floor overlooking the sea, beach and Porto del Carmen. The offer at the buffet is varied, but not all dishes are really good prepared. The staff is as friendly as necessary. The rooms very big, the balcony great. Ahja-against aircraft noise you shouldn't be sensitive-the runway at the airport from arecife is only a few hundred meters away. As a starting point to discover the island the hotel was but optimally! The value for money has in any case right. read more

Beatriz Playa& spa is a 4 star hotel direct at the beach in Puerto del Carmen/Playa de Matagorda. The complex has a totally fascinating architecture is very big and very clean in all areas. Due to the period in january were mostly older guests in the hotel. I believe in equal parts germans, englishmen and spanish. read more

    The rooms are very large and nicely furnished. The furniture are not the newest but nevertheless completely alright. We had a balcony with a partial ocean view facing the next to the airport. Exactly the same we had imagined that. It was totally exciting the starting and landing planes to observe and the noise is not worth mentioning. The bathroom is also a nice size and with a double sink also very practical.

    There are various restaurants and bars in the hotel all a nice atmosphere have. I can evaluate however only the buffet. The food is varied, as well as for breakfast, as well as during dinner is really something for everyone. The food was delicious, could partly but a bit warmer.

    The staff was always friendly and always care a lot about the guests. A large part of the staff understood german, with english you could get around the doubt but everywhere. The cleaning of the rooms was excellent and also the staff always a friendly greeting on their lips had.

    The pool area is very nice designed, as well as the pool bar. At the entertainment we didn't take part, but it was discreet and not intrusive. There was at the pool area there were enough beach chairs, towels you could get against a deposit free of charge check-out counters.

    The hotel lies directly at a small beach section, beach chairs and umbrellas can be rented. There were also a very decent toilet facility at the beach. Several larger beaches are in the immediate vicinity. In the vicinity of the hotel there is a shopping center with supermarket, car rental, bicycle rental, restaurants and so on. The most striking is the proximity to airport. The transfer to the hotel only 5 minutes and if one walked along the promenade is also in a few minutes at the airport arrived.

It was our first time staying in this hotel and were very satisfied. The hotel is really as already often described here a bit dated. With a little modernisation you could definitely much reach. But the people who work there are really keen, that you feel at home. read more

    As mentioned before, a little modernisation may the rooms probably use. The windows were a little loose in their anchorages and the hair dryer, well the wanted as not at all as we wanted. The hose is always because of the high temperature of the air melted and then demolished. Better to take your own hairdryer. However i have to say, every day it was nice and clean and i always on the main.

    So we didn't make sports... For entertainment we were occasionally times in the mindanao gone. Once it was a bit for us and sometimes not, but that was a matter of taste, so not a problem to us. The gesangstruppe the occurred was really good. The we enjoyed. The new year's eve party, the there has, was great. By the pool and on the chairs we barely stayed there. We always go instead to the beach and was nearly empty.

    Yes the airport... Because we our room direct in the direction airport on the 3. floor had, we no alarm clock and in the evening was then at least at 24 o'clock stop the aircraft noise. Well, we have previously known and the people in the hotel can probably change anything. If we outside and at the beach were, was the noise bearable. Besides that is the location there really very nice. We joined in on an excursion was called lanzarique and the was great. Definitely recommendable. It was much the famous caesar manrique, the the island so embraced and, of course, a visit to the national park timanfaya! Beautiful!

Although the hotel a large complex, it came us before. It is very nice designed or everywhere, inside and out, has a lot of green. Our room was quite large and comfortably furnished. The airfield although it is very close, however, we felt the aircraft noise didn't bother me. It was rather interesting the planes so you have to watch. There is a quite long, beautiful promenade with various types of sports equipment is equipped. Wonderful to walk. We booked an excursion lanzarike and can these absolutely recommend. One learns on one day a lot of the island know and ... it was very impressive. read more

The hotel's location is excellent, the near airport didn't bother us! Also the furnishings (public spaces such as bars and encouraged ) are very good. Interesting the furniture and wooden sculptures. There the complex directly on the promenade is located, is the beach not far away and you the possibilities from there long walks, going running or cycling something to do. The food in the restaurant is varied, but rather tasteless (not much seasoning). Also the audience is quite took some getting used to. It was after the partners loud piped its attention to gain; it was after a certain ... waiters chirruped and lots of guests tried once the fingers the offered dishes. Quite disgusting, especially as the abgeleckte finger then directly at the next bowl of diving! The ladies at the reception left attention and friendliness miss. Every time, if i the set faz wanted to read, i was in unfriendly way stressed, that the sheet property of the hotel would be! Welch a cheek, the guest theft to store! The dust under the beds was never in the 14 days away, as well as the hairs in the bathroom of the guests before us not! In addition to this, we were in a smoking room and despite complaint was not react. A shame! There are people who already for years in the house are and heard another treatment. Also a great shame! We will time 20 years to Lanzarote and love the island. Also we'll try often again another hotel from, but to the beatriz Playa and spa we will certainly not go back! read more

The pool was rather cold, when heated. Under the beds one should not look. Who fresh air with the food Want, must also with the birds share (at the buffet). It was by far the best hotel and the best holiday for years. The diversity the offers (several restaurants, spa, great pools with plenty of sun loungers, the proximity to the beach, excursions and so on) i was impressed. No matter which request we were at the reception turned, we were attentive and our requests were immediately fulfilled. The rooms were clean and very lovingly cleaned every day. I can highly recommend the hotel. read more

A wonderful break to the turn of the year there. The waiters and the hotel were competent, nice and helpful as always. Very lots of regular guests, which only for the hotel can speak. Really recommendable hotel for couples, families and singles. Location is ideal for a seaside holiday and excursions. Huge selection during dinner times, also the specialty restaurants are very recommendable, especially the 'oriental'. read more

Older hotel with nice decor, however this is very old, the waiters were not very pleasant, entertainment On spanish oriented, the spanish i have never been so stubbornly found as here, the present German public older not friendly but very hungry! It is nice for going on walks at the beach circa 5 kilometer to Puerto del Carmen, beware of Purchases especially when electronically. read more

We were for the first time in the years 1998 to Lanzarote in the hotel San Antonio. And we the hotel Beatrix Playa enteckt. We are now already 3 times been in this hotel. In april may 2013, we will come back again our vacation again in this hotel spend. We have stayed lots of hotels visit but usually only 1 time, because we again and again something new to see. However the hotel Beatrix Playa is always great again. The hotel is located yes close to the airport, that is why we like it sunday It is interesting the ... many airplanes since come and go. The noise that didn't disturb at all. The best room is 3028. As you view of the beach and the sea and to see the planes good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. read more

    It was our 9. stay in this hotel and we were as always pleased over the staff's hospitality, but perhaps even the wiedererkennungseffekt is fine. At the front desk for part speak german, otherwise you could get by with english. Small repairs like a broken door lock were immediately taken care of, the cleaning of the rooms was fine. A special service is the towels, against a bail of 15 €you get a large towel, this can be often be replaced, that is genuinly class!

    The hotel is situated right at the sea, however there is a stony grounds. The next beach is however reachable in a few minutes. Just as fast there was a shopping center.     The rooms are big enough, about 3.5 times 8 metres. The furniture according to the age, but still in good shape. Bathroom with tub and curtain, even in the bath tub was.     In my opinion as a cook and expert in the food area, as for my wife and our friend who travelled with us friends, the service was very good.     From the pool area, the miniature golf course on the left of out, the beach, but with lava rocks. Approximately 500 meters further toward del Carmen beautiful sandy beach. We were there for 10 days the Beatriz Playa and had half board. I would not hesitate to stay in the same hotel go. The staff are very friendly and the premises clean. The dinner buffet is rich and there is something for everyone there! To the beach it are only around 5 to 10 -minute walk. Loungers you can get from 5,- Euro plus sun screen. Shops, bars and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. To Playa de Papagayo you can evenings cheap by taxi come, if you partying I would like. The were so for us the ... most important points. To moan you will always find something. But then you have already good. The airport is directly next to it. The starting and landing planes scare at the start, but already on the 2. day one takes not more definitely true. That would be the only thing which definitely not positive manner would be. It didn't bother us. I would the hotel definitely recommend. read more

Disadvantage was, the no fridge was available ( you could rent), but we are without seamlessly even if we did not know. The bathroom/ bath tub with possibility to shower was very big and when one thinks about it, that the shower curtain not heraushängt there is no flooding. The ideal were 2 washbasin and even a bidet. The chairs and table on the balcony are quite old and dyeing from, if you are on it sets. It is however still good.

    The restaurant is good and where not full it is your own fault. Anything there was always food, what us tasted. Once there was lamb chop, since we were no friends and the breaded bit meat was also relatively tough. Therefore we have on one day at the appetizers buffet kept. What is worse, that it in the restaurant no peace gives; because the hotel very big and the restaurant too small. Therefore in 2 shifts, we stayed in the 1st layer; in the 2. layer are mainly spaniard. The breakfast was also enough and the best was, that every morning a small glass sparkling wine gave. We had never experienced something like that. Against the morning juice is very artificial and sweet and almost not enjoyable. But the spaniard drink it, they are not the better used to. It would also be good, if in the morning except for fried eggs, scrambled egg and pancakes also omelets with onions, tomatoes, peppers, and so on offered. We missed also a typical natural yoghurt ( not only in the plastic cup from Danone, the tasted artificial). Otherwise food we always a muesli with fruit cocktail (missed), pineapple, apricot, and so on The prices a drink were ok. A bottle of water with gas 0.5 liter cost 2,10 Euro; with the opposite a year ago a full preisteigerung put. There cost the bottle of still 1.50 Euro ( I have stayed in the other reviews read). Cleanliness & hygiene were okay, if we at the buffet and restaurant dead and live cockroaches seen. But in the heat it was quick and is not always the staff fault, but the guests the edible from the restaurant and somewhere to move.

    The staff were always friendly (some more other less; but that is normal). We arrived with German or our bad English, the staff spoke German; if also broken. The cleaning of the rooms was adequate, but you should not just look at; in those countries makes you not promptly and flawless. Animation we didn't use, since they only spoke spanish. This point is could be improved. Exactly the children. - & mini club; our kids we did not go, since only spanish spoken is. After the 1. Week we realized that the air conditioning in the closet drips and the clothes wet. Us we immediately a zimmerersatz offered, which we but because of the difficulty of the move' s not wanted. Was so bad also not. After all, not everyone water fall in the closet or in the room.

Chairs are the whole day occupied and nobody puts mood; mainly the shade the relatively rare. The umbrella and loungers by the pool may be replaced or repaired, are relatively run down. In the hotel there is a wi-fi-room for free internet ( with your own device), the also worked. At the beach direction Puerto del Carmen ( something to run) may showers, since no are available. If you don't running lazy, you can long walks on the beach make. For example to the left direction landing strip at the airport ( not far) or to the right direction Puerto del Carmen - marina or even further. As you can 2 hours, 3 hours, or 4 hours be on the move, depending on speed and length legs always at the beach along or beach promenade.

    The hotel lies on the edge the local part Matagorda quite near the airport, however that didn't bother us. Landed the planes from the sea and started toward inland view. Therefore it was nothing special according to. Besides on one day the planes direction sea started, since the noise level was higher. Excursions you can't take advantage of, except to Puerto del Carmen walking. As had a rental car for the complete 14 days, what recommendable is. Request Germany book.

We are already looking forward to it, finally again our vacation here to spend. The hotel was very good and we were very comfortable there. We are convinced, that our third vacation in beatriz very nice will. Would have been nice if we a room with sea view direction puerto del Carmen could have been. read more

    The hotel is directly at the beach and the airport is nearby, but not too disruptive. After puerto del Carmen one walked a good half hour. Here you can nice stroll and shop. Also close to the hotel there were some shops. The other direction to the airport and further to arreciffen is also very clean. You can also with the bus good other places.

We spend here a very nice family vacation. The landing airplanes we found very interesting. In the hotel were very lots of Spaniards. The is great, you're in Spain. Unfortunately found our kids therefore no playmates. The hotel has a great location. Possibly problem and complaints were quickly dealt with and fixed. Unfortunately was in the restaurant often a large part of the terrace places is locked, so that we do not sit down could. The food was sufficient available and there is something for everyone. Fans of chorizo and Serano ham come here unfortunately not on their costs. During ... the 2 weeks there were 2 times for breakfast Chorizo and Serano ham allocated on Tomatenbot.
