Hotel Beatriz Playa^{(4 stars)}

The rooms are very large and nicely furnished. The furniture are not the newest but nevertheless completely alright. We had a balcony with a partial ocean view facing the next to the airport. Exactly the same we had imagined that. It was totally exciting the starting and landing planes to observe and the noise is not worth mentioning. The bathroom is also a nice size and with a double sink also very practical.

There are various restaurants and bars in the hotel all a nice atmosphere have. I can evaluate however only the buffet. The food is varied, as well as for breakfast, as well as during dinner is really something for everyone. The food was delicious, could partly but a bit warmer.

The staff was always friendly and always care a lot about the guests. A large part of the staff understood german, with english you could get around the doubt but everywhere. The cleaning of the rooms was excellent and also the staff always a friendly greeting on their lips had.

The pool area is very nice designed, as well as the pool bar. At the entertainment we didn't take part, but it was discreet and not intrusive. There was at the pool area there were enough beach chairs, towels you could get against a deposit free of charge check-out counters.

Beatriz Playa& spa is a 4 star hotel direct at the beach in Puerto del Carmen/Playa de Matagorda. The complex has a totally fascinating architecture is very big and very clean in all areas. Due to the period in january were mostly older guests in the hotel. I believe in equal parts germans, englishmen and spanish.

The hotel lies directly at a small beach section, beach chairs and umbrellas can be rented. There were also a very decent toilet facility at the beach. Several larger beaches are in the immediate vicinity. In the vicinity of the hotel there is a shopping center with supermarket, car rental, bicycle rental, restaurants and so on. The most striking is the proximity to airport. The transfer to the hotel only 5 minutes and if one walked along the promenade is also in a few minutes at the airport arrived.

As mentioned before, a little modernisation may the rooms probably use. The windows were a little loose in their anchorages and the hair dryer, well the wanted as not at all as we wanted. The hose is always because of the high temperature of the air melted and then demolished. Better to take your own hairdryer. However i have to say, every day it was nice and clean and i always on the main.

There were enough restaurants to choose from, as well as food and drinks. Who says he finds nothing must be blind. It tasted great to us. There were often different items, always enough, always clean arranged. Totally varied and often we somewhat nationaltypical found, so we were quite pleased. We have a really great fancy new year's eve-unique-! Great thank you... Also the cleanliness of the restaurant was absolutely okay. It was always paid attention. The us really great pleased.

So the service great in this hotel. So nice people a cared for as i have not yet seen. From the gray Germany friendly greetings to Jorge, Victor and the other love good spirits of the hotel! We have us in your care felt good. Thank you very much for that! :-)

So we didn't make sports... For entertainment we were occasionally times in the mindanao gone. Once it was a bit for us and sometimes not, but that was a matter of taste, so not a problem to us. The gesangstruppe the occurred was really good. The we enjoyed. The new year's eve party, the there has, was great. By the pool and on the chairs we barely stayed there. We always go instead to the beach and was nearly empty.

It was our first time staying in this hotel and were very satisfied. The hotel is really as already often described here a bit dated. With a little modernisation you could definitely much reach. But the people who work there are really keen, that you feel at home.

Yes the airport... Because we our room direct in the direction airport on the 3. floor had, we no alarm clock and in the evening was then at least at 24 o'clock stop the aircraft noise. Well, we have previously known and the people in the hotel can probably change anything. If we outside and at the beach were, was the noise bearable. Besides that is the location there really very nice. We joined in on an excursion was called lanzarique and the was great. Definitely recommendable. It was much the famous caesar manrique, the the island so embraced and, of course, a visit to the national park timanfaya! Beautiful!

The rooms are huge and all the same. Some furniture is getting old, the tv with some german programs is from the old times! The wardrobe includes a pay safe. The beds we as very good found, the bathroom as well with double sinks.

There is several restaurants, but i but only judge the main restaurant can. If you didn't find anything here, couldn't be helped! As often international cuisine acts, the vegetables only unsalted scalded, a shame! As it is a really large hotel is, is the background noise especially in the evening quite high.

It was our 9. stay in this hotel and we were as always pleased over the staff's hospitality, but perhaps even the wiedererkennungseffekt is fine. At the front desk for part speak german, otherwise you could get by with english. Small repairs like a broken door lock were immediately taken care of, the cleaning of the rooms was fine. A special service is the towels, against a bail of 15 €you get a large towel, this can be often be replaced, that is genuinly class!

It is a relatively large hotel with interesting architecture, but already somewhat older, what in some places is not to be overlooked. But always industrious people, both inside, as well as in the large outdoor area for the preservation of the hotel to ensure. During our holiday was the average age quite high, mostly from gigabyte, but also lots of spaniards. Remarkable is the large number of regular guests, which over the years again and again finds. Offered the hotel with half board and all-inclusive, but we booked half board had. In the field of the lobby there is free wireless.

The hotel is situated right at the sea, however there is a stony grounds. The next beach is however reachable in a few minutes. Just as fast there was a shopping center. The airport is quite close, that had the advantage, that very short transfer time are, but during the day is more or less aircraft noise to be expected. But if you enjoy airplanes has, then gladly over the beautiful promenade to runway and the air traffic watch.

The rooms are huge, but already a bit shabby. We had a junior suite, the from 2 double rooms with connecting door existed. Disadvantage was, the no fridge was available ( you could rent), but we are without seamlessly even if we did not know. The bathroom/ bath tub with possibility to shower was very big and when one thinks about it, that the shower curtain not heraushängt there is no flooding. The ideal were 2 washbasin and even a bidet. The chairs and table on the balcony are quite old and dyeing from, if you are on it sets. It is however still good.

The restaurant is good and where not full it is your own fault. Anything there was always food, what us tasted. Once there was lamb chop, since we were no friends and the breaded bit meat was also relatively tough. Therefore we have on one day at the appetizers buffet kept. What is worse, that it in the restaurant no peace gives; because the hotel very big and the restaurant too small. Therefore in 2 shifts, we stayed in the 1st layer; in the 2. layer are mainly spaniard. The breakfast was also enough and the best was, that every morning a small glass sparkling wine gave. We had never experienced something like that. Against the morning juice is very artificial and sweet and almost not enjoyable. But the spaniard drink it, they are not the better used to. It would also be good, if in the morning except for fried eggs, scrambled egg and pancakes also omelets with onions, tomatoes, peppers, and so on offered. We missed also a typical natural yoghurt ( not only in the plastic cup from Danone, the tasted artificial). Otherwise food we always a muesli with fruit cocktail (missed), pineapple, apricot, and so on The prices a drink were ok. A bottle of water with gas 0.5 liter cost 2,10 Euro; with the opposite a year ago a full preisteigerung put. There cost the bottle of still 1.50 Euro ( I have stayed in the other reviews read). Cleanliness & hygiene were okay, if we at the buffet and restaurant dead and live cockroaches seen. But in the heat it was quick and is not always the staff fault, but the guests the edible from the restaurant and somewhere to move.

The staff were always friendly (some more other less; but that is normal). We arrived with German or our bad English, the staff spoke German; if also broken. The cleaning of the rooms was adequate, but you should not just look at; in those countries makes you not promptly and flawless. Animation we didn't use, since they only spoke spanish. This point is could be improved. Exactly the children. - & mini club; our kids we did not go, since only spanish spoken is. After the 1. Week we realized that the air conditioning in the closet drips and the clothes wet. Us we immediately a zimmerersatz offered, which we but because of the difficulty of the move' s not wanted. Was so bad also not. After all, not everyone water fall in the closet or in the room.

Animation and kids club we didn't use, since mainly only spanish spoken and therefore only from spanier'n used. Therefore is the really needs to be improved. The pool was clean however very cold, opposite other hotels Bad is that everybody annoying evil with the chairs to reserve. Chairs are the whole day occupied and nobody puts mood; mainly the shade the relatively rare. The umbrella and loungers by the pool may be replaced or repaired, are relatively run down. In the hotel there is a wi-fi-room for free internet ( with your own device), the also worked. At the beach direction Puerto del Carmen ( something to run) may showers, since no are available. If you don't running lazy, you can long walks on the beach make. For example to the left direction landing strip at the airport ( not far) or to the right direction Puerto del Carmen - marina or even further. As you can 2 hours, 3 hours, or 4 hours be on the move, depending on speed and length legs always at the beach along or beach promenade.

The hotel is very large and getting a bit old. Unfortunately the spanish, the average move down. We had a junior suite, the from 2 double included connecting door existed. Was always satisfactorily cleaned and is totally sufficient. We had the half board, what we totally enough. Nearby gave there are some shops like for instance supermarket.

The hotel lies on the edge the local part Matagorda quite near the airport, however that didn't bother us. Landed the planes from the sea and started toward inland view. Therefore it was nothing special according to. Besides on one day the planes direction sea started, since the noise level was higher. Excursions you can't take advantage of, except to Puerto del Carmen walking. As had a rental car for the complete 14 days, what recommendable is. Request Germany book.

The rooms were nice large and clean. We felt at ease.

The food was great. Something for everyone to find. The buffet always fast again filled up and everything was clean. We had all-inclusive and could in the Italian restaurant food in the chinese restaurant (in advance).

The staff are very friendly and helpful. No matter wether front desk or maid. Off course not to forget the waiters, kitchen and the employees the bar. All nice and polite! The rooms are big and clean. All great

As we December and January here were and are very much to offset, we have the pool not so often used. But at this time of the year you get by the pool at any time of the day still a beach chair. The pool is also very nice. Evening agenda was very entertaining and varied.

In January 2009 and in December 2009 we were each for 2 weeks in the hotel beatriz Playa on Lanzarote and now have for January 2013 a -day vacation for booked here! We are already looking forward to it, finally again our vacation here to spend. The hotel was very good and we were very comfortable there. We are convinced, that our third vacation in beatriz very nice will. Would have been nice if we a room with sea view direction puerto del Carmen could have been.

The hotel is directly at the beach and the airport is nearby, but not too disruptive. After puerto del Carmen one walked a good half hour. Here you can nice stroll and shop. Also close to the hotel there were some shops. The other direction to the airport and further to arreciffen is also very clean. You can also with the bus good other places.

The rooms are also very nice. They are simply furnished, but you feel there still very comfortable. Everything was there, what you need. Some rooms require however a small renovation. So you could for example in our room, the bathroom door did not close properly, since a piece of from the türleiste broken off. We had then always a chair in front of the door. Rooms in the left wing, where the bar is, isn't recommendable, since we some families have met, the a room and there are absolutely too loud was because of the evening entertainment. You could before 24 o'clock not sleep, as there are absolutely too loud was.

There are four restaurants. A main restaurant, that is for breakfast, lunch and evening. An italian restaurant and an oriental restaurant and a burger restaurant. The italian restaurant i can really recommend. One must however reserve and it is, just as the orientrestaurant, only open in the evening. The orientrestaurant cost 4 Euro extra per person if you want to eat there. The burger restaurant is only at noon opened. By the pool there are also a restaurant, where lunch at geegrillt is, it was always very tasty. The dining rooms are all very clean and the food is also very good, only unfortunately it is partly a bit too bland and wiederhotl of course in the two weeks. But one becomes full and it is, i think always something there for everyone.

The service in the hotel was great and the staff always very friendly. Unfortunately, not all speak german, so you usually on english had, what was however not further bad. I would still very much Patricia thanks, the always very polite to us and tried always our desires to fulfill. Many thanks for that;-) What i here however, unfortunately must criticize, is the dealing with guests at the front desk. You can in the hotel towels against a bail from 15 Euro check-out counters. It is in the statement, that one your towels not with out should take, so to the beach and look after it well can. Now us however on the final day two of the four towels by the pool stolen. We had already from other german families is, which the towels stolen were. They told us we should then to the front desk go, you would then be there money nevertheless refunded. This we have done, but unfortunately you only once so done, as would be not understand and then, after the chef had requested were also directly the cut and said, as his yes to blame, we could read and should even better the towels be careful. Our objection, that other guests the same problem and the you consider should, that in the hotel people stealing was just dismissed and we got our money back. Unfortunately, i must say, that the vacation something very spoiled and i then in the hotel also not more comfortable. Our complaint was just dismissed and the staff were in this point unfortunately totally unfriendly and uncooperative.

It will be in the hotel various activities and fitnesskusres offered. We have the sport activities and were very satisfied. There were daily diverse sports instead. Here, i can very pilateskurs with Annika highly recommend. This always a lot of fun geacht. Also the animation at the pool was okay. The entertainers always very much trouble. Chairs were always enough available, so that one actually always found a place.

The hotel is a somewhat older hotel, but it is still very beautifully designed. The dining room, or the restaurant, which one can use are in the lowest floor. In the right wing, where the restaurants are, the roof is open, so that the sun purely seem. I personally really enjoyed and was the whole a nice atmosphere. In the entire hotel are plants and decoration distributed, the evenings are lit. Sees very nice from. In the left wing of the hotel (the hotel is as' u ' built) is the bar, where evenings the entertainment took place. The bar is also very clean furnished and also this wing is above open. But it is here a great shame, that it in the entire hotel only a bar. This is for all the guests too few and one must in time there, so you have a chair remains. If you entertainment in the evening want to see, then must also one of the first, because, unfortunately, the stage very small and is further back from pillars vedeckt, so you really only the front of the hotel a bit can see. The guests were very mixed, there were a lot of spanish in the hotel, but also english and german.

The hotel is about 1 kilometer away from the airport. One can from the hotel pool from, the planes, the at the airport landing. Personally, i found this very interesting and the aircraft noise, the anyway was to be heard, didn't bother us. Smell the kerosene, as some have written, in the 14 days not at all and the, even though it every day was windy. This is also a point, i would like to mention, on Lanzarote there is a constant wind. The days is the ok, because in the sun it is anyway warm, but in the evenings you needed a cardigan or similar and the, although we in july were there. What is particularly interesting found was, that one at the beach in 10 minutes at the airport and the planes taking off could see. The was very interesting. If you are in the other right, to Puerto del Carmen is, is a wonderful small beach promenade, at the lots of small shops are. To Puerto del Carmen it is around 7 to 10 kilometer. this is to run definitely too far, as there is at least 1-2 hours on the way is, but if you like it can do so. We are always with the bus or the taxi, since bus, as well as taxi as good as nothing costs. The next supermarket is also just close to the hotel and the bus stop are approximately 10 minutes out.
