Hotel Iberostar Club Cala Barca^{(4 stars)}

Beautiful room, unfortunately, there was a wall forgot to white. On the desk stood the tv, therefore no place for postkartenschreiben. The remote control for the tv was slightly broken. Safe costs 19 Euro the week. Caution, phone calls are very expensive!

The was once the shock: full, full, fully... Crowds of people on the way to the swallow ☺... Since we had only once to get used to. The food was very good, varied.

The staff is very friendly! Room cleaning was okay. The mini club was great, both of Neckermann, as well as the onsite iberostarbetreuung great!

We have altogether 5 pools on the hotel counted (without the children's pool) The evening shows were very good, the entertainment team perfect! Be careful beach chairs already in the morning reserve... Internet costs 1 Euro for 10 minutes, i found now too expensive, since the computer constantly flickered... Not so great.

Our room was decorated up to date, with a balcony, clean and attractive. We had booked all-inclusive. Mainly german tourists.

The beach at the hotel is okay, however huge stones in the water, therefor not very suitable for children. A few more meters a small, nice sandy beach and then somewhat more distant the beautiful sandy beach of montrago'. We loved it, over the rocks to climb and some beautiful beach to walk. In the rancho jaume we were horse riding, very recommendable, nice people and very well maintained horses!

Everything was clean and renovated. Air conditioning very weak.

Were for dinner always in specialty restaurant. Much quieter than in the main restaurant. Every evening prawns, etc. Very good.

Most of the staff are service oriented. There is but also people which one the shoes besohlen should.

The rooms are adequate size, the bathroom was great. We had a balcony with a view of the sea. The air conditioning worked not.

The food is actually alright, there is the same every day, very little variations. We are 2 times outward food, although we 'all in' had booked. In the main restaurant it was incredibly noisy because of the lots of people. In the outdoor restaurant is the better, we have but unfortunately very rarely a place can get.

In the main restaurant seemed many overstrained, once there was a waitress right angry, because we are already set, although still was not set (is with the crowd of people not different rules). Even at the front desk has a staff neither german nor english understood and we always managed. Wifi is fancy (although for 20 €booked), nobody could help. That a wireless internet access only for a device in the room is, nobody mentioned...

Sport facilities were good. The pools are great, that you get a beach chair in the sun get, can one forget. Constantly everything occupied! It is too little for the lots of people there. The entertainment we could not participate, because we with a child (4 years) were there. A baby monitor is not enough to the grounds. The mini disco was of the kids but fun ☺

The large fault of this hotel is the size. During our stay became straight 1600 people cared for. This is when all urlaubsangeboten... It is crazy loud, and unfortunately always (especially at night as well for constant on and departures). The rooms are okay and remarkably clean. The daily cleaning is great and i wanted all you, as you so regulated with so lots of people.

The beach directly there is dirty and hard distance (deep slope). The area we have by rental car explored on foot. We are then often further away dangers, Majorca has beautiful corners ☺

Rooms were tidy, clean and 'functional' decorated. We had 1 bedroom, 1 living room, indoor-undeveoped bathroom and balcony. The microwave we didn't use, the tv only had 4 german channels (the other did not work), which for us but was fine, since we klediglich in videtext the newest messages have looked at. The fridge is small, has it enough for us. The problem with ants we had in all rooms; after call at the front desk immediately with spray combated, used but very little. The safe in the room had to be paid separately, what a little annoyed. Also the fact that wireless internet is subject to a charge, does not correspond to the standards which we from other countries know. There are access and password always free of charge.

The buffets in the restaurants repeated and eventually was all right. Very negative noticed, that after a torrential downpour on 12-10-2012 in the theme restaurant Mediterraneo the water through the ceiling and the tables including continue to be used, and with towels on the floor the water aufgesugt should be. Basically the hygiene was alright - except for a waiter who in the toilet met and after the toilet not the hands cleaned-. The atmosphere in the main restaurant resembles a station concourse; very loud and was especially disturbing, that permanently plates and gläserwagen with din and hergafahren were. The food was 'alright'; in our opinion not typical for the country (among other things. Fats sausages, mashed potatoes? For breakfast), the dessert partly sensational, the main courses were rather average.

The staff is basically friendly but also partly overstrained. At check in it was back and forth, in the restaurants were the rush hours waiting in purchase. Generally is clear, that the mass of guests not enough staff was available. The cleaning of the rooms was fine.

Overall 5 pools, whereas the two main pool very nice were. The water was but the anfan g of our vacation and after the storm very cold. With regard to the beach chairs it remains to be noted, that there is too little and we actually anti-tourists developed, the morning their hand towels on the occupation of the chairs used. Different there was no chance on a chair. To the beach (bay) is, that there are not very inviting, no chairs, pool in the water. Positive was the small beach, where we in the afternoon our coffee enjoyed.

Very big complex. 651 rooms at circa 23 houses. Room is very clean, a large problem with ants, the chemistry to remedy tried. The score was moderate. Upon arrival the already fallen toilet seat after 5 days after repeated memory repaired. Staff generally very friendly and multi-lingual. Bellboys was excellent, also on our way back around 5:00 in the morning. Positive, from 03:00 there was breakfast, at night arrivals up to 02,30 dinner. At all pools there are behindertenlifte, otherwise also for wheelchair users-with small detours-everything easy to reach.

No beach, small bay, for children unsuitable, in the other two bays is already a considerable walk. The shopping on the complex are low, a rental car is of advantage.

We had a somewhat larger room above the main restaurant. Therefore we had also no nice view from the terrace in the courtyard but the did not bother us. It was clean and functional decorated. A tv with german programmn we had. The mini bar was empty that means only for your own drinks or food thought. We had a microwave in the room which we didn't use. A safe is also there, however against an extra charge. We had no ants in the room, what i only fear i, when i the other reviews read. So better a room on the upper floors choose! The air conditioning was not the hit. Has not much and went off as soon as one a windows or the patio door was open. So we cannot have both together. In the high summer would be unbearable defendendo.

We had all-inclusive and in the main restaurant breakfast and dinner. There fits up to 700 guests in. There is still a topic restaurant where one on we food but you have to early in the day in advance. At lunch there were above at the bar a dining room with buffet. The food was a matter of taste! It was always enough of everything there, However you had to the appropriate time to be there. Because sometimes there were the dishes not really heated, so you cold food got. One had every day fish and meat, pasta, french fries and rice... But i bit the typical spanish cuisine was missing and we always had to post-seasoning all together however ok. Although lots of guests since there was always a place and one had not for a long time at the buffet queue. Delicious the food was above in the small dining room where one at noon still could eat. Less selection however always hot and delicious.

The staff were always eager to help and friendly. Since one could really say anything. It could almost all german and otherwise english. The room was cleaned daily.

Since i diving, the german diving school looking forward to it and, of course, use. The i can recommend. The people are super nice. However i recommend everyone has their own equipment to bring, because you pay per dive for things 15 Euro! The pools were clean, but very cold! One had good heated from the sun to as reinzubegeben. Bath towels for the time for 10 Euro deposit and this could every day exchange. The chairs at the pool were desired. From 10 o'clock you could use these. Many were for hours with towels were reserved, since the guests in between meals were or sunday But you usually always got a place. I recommend however the sea and the beach the 5-10 minutes away is. Internet was supposedly half an hour free in the lobby-this is not true. You have to pay and it's not cheap.

The complex is huge and in the well maintained condition! We were outside of the holidays and despite the many children you could great place to relax. It was not as many described loud and noisy. You have to stop adapt, if you are in a family hotel with children is.

The hotel is somewhat off the beaten track. To the airport it was 1 hour tour. To the next town Porto Petro, a nice harbor and where you could eat deliciously we are on foot about 20 minutes walk away... It is worthwhile... So you can reach the area explore. To Cala Dór it was about 10 minutes on the bus. There, there are each quantity of purchase possibilities. From the hotel goes every day except sunday a small bus there and back. On the complex there are a few small shops where souvenirs were but also catering to buy can. The beach at the hotel was rocky and full of algae while we were there. 5-10 minutes on foot further was a bay with sandy beach and great water! There was always a place! There is the possibility a bike or car hire (we have however not used). Evening there was always a show for children-then until about 23 hours program for the older guests. The disco is until 1 o'clock on. The bar upstairs has until 24 o'clock open.

Spacious rooms, queen size bed and the living room has still two beds. More than sufficient storage space in the closets, two large mirror, nightstand. Also in the bathroom enough space. Air conditioning, fridge, tv, safe (19€ the week and 5 €deposit) and a terrace with a table and chairs.

There is the restaurant, the pizzeria and the theme restaurant. The pool bar and the bar in the pizzeria. You can also rent at the sports bar from 11 to 17 o'clock also soft drinks. I can't wait very on the Iberostar- food and find the quality good. And if you don't karoffelbrei for breakfast must it also not food. There is so wide choice, there will probably be something for everyone. There was even a spanish evening, then there was a lot of sushi or extraviel pastries set up. Of course, it is a large restaurant, but it would be small would again any complain about! Everywhere was cleaned and wiped, also very fast the table cleared and newly restocked. As i all-inclusive, i needed within the complex no money.

Was now for the 7'. Time in the hotel, and even this time i can the friendliness and the helpfulness of the staff only praising mention. Wether at the front desk or at the bar, with german and english and friendliness comes far. Rooms were cleaned each day. I was on the storm, 12,10. 12, since. We had no water at all, among our neighbours ran somewhat water at the door clean, but here there was quickly put right.

Internet and cell phone i need on vacation not. Sports activities there was as always a lot of (water polo, Volleyball, soccer, Boccia, darts, dd, archery and air rifle shooting ☺, gymnastics, water aerobics also Tennis and diving is possible, as well as a kinderschwimmkurs. Great entertainment the shows cala barca animation team. By the pool it was clean. Just a pity, that it again and again guests there, the loungers reserve and then the whole day it is not he who seem. The small beach is pure nature : no chairs, no umbrellas, no toilets.

The cala barca no small family hotel should be clear to everyone, if he travel catalog attentive read. It is also in the nature reserve and that means also not, that it is a mega mall is! 650 units, spread over a sprawling Areal. At the small bay 'cala barca' Half-board and universe inclusive are possible. In october mostly german and swiss, at the spanish national holiday also a lot of spanish. In the majority of families.

I personally think the nature reserve beautiful. Who commotions and nightlife to have would like must to the Playa de Palma go. To the you can go shopping after puerto Pedro (3 kilometer) or to Cala d'Or (7 kilometer ) by bus or cab. The bay cala barca borders directly at the hotel. The cala des borgit is still time approximately 10 minutes away.

We had a family room. It is big enough. The rooms are very modern designed. Downside is, the bedroom was right then the front door, you're so not used. The air conditioning did a good job, evenings it was very pleasant and the open balcony door was good enough. The bathroom is big enough, the shower separated by a glass pane also wonderful. A small mini fridge, a telephone, tv and wardrobes were available, everything in very good condition. The safe is for a fee to rent.

The food was always sufficiently available. If not ( the bread rolls were always fast way) was a instruction soätestens refilled, but there are extremely lots of people from the hotel on the way the always enough of everything and care. We were mainly in the main restaurant eat. We also once in the mediterranean restaurant reserved, but not worth it. I am for my trinkerei, which I in the normal restaurant simply hole when I want. The food was not outstanding, Baguette use I get everything in the main restaurant. The food is actually the only point where I was not happy. I have always dismissed with typical spanish kitchen, but I have no comparison. I liked it simply not tasty. In the Gulasch belong for me no bones on meat, I was very irritated. The vegetables was not juicy enough, and the pizza was not my case. There you could definitely improve. I have on all days at the end noodles and tomato or bolognese sauce eaten, because it I could me leaving. Varied it was not, it was in the rough everyday the same. I expect a 4 star complex there simply more. Cleanliness also in the large dining room large written, there are employees constantly around and cleaning everything which fell down. This can partially also be annoying. But the social contexts characterized by highly polarized were always friendly and have fun with the children made. At the drinks there is nothing to moan about. Cola, Fanta, Sprite, wines, beer, apple juice, orangensagt, always cold and always there!

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Child-friendliness also very big written and we were mostly in German. But also in English and spanish, of course one gets ahead. More languages I have not tried. A small drawback I had to for the waiters accept, by the main restaurant always punctually closed. You will not need to go, but it was cheerfully 20 employees tidy and there is now no more fun to eat with its family. But this is really only on the edge mentioned, we were late on this day. Cleaning of the rooms as already written great! To the laundry washing there is a waschmaschinenraum, but we didn't use it. The doctor we had to visit, the think I rather overpriced. ( taking blood pressure and recipe issue 100 Euro) at the end you were glad that he was. Child care we have picked up, but there is also a mini club, the supposed to be very good, acquaintances have said this.

Great pool area. Very big. Entertainment was not pushy, but available. Unfortunately was, the exactly at o'clock the empty loungers and chairs tidy were. I you gladly itself when I with swimming want to stop. Since there at: o'clock still lots of sun and good 28 degrees, which it very pleasant makes in the pool to be. Shops there are also. There are some small shops where one almost everything gets. Also here a but, way too expensive. For a bottle of orange juice, nivea cream, pretzel sticks and knapperzeug 18 Euro to demand is strong. The swimming pool was always kept clean, the showers and toilets also extra disinfected. The there is nothing to complain about. There are plenty of loungers available. Sun screens not. But there are a lot of shady spots, on the you could get out.

The complex is at our arrival well signposted defendendo. On arrival everything ran smoothly. The transfer of a room from the 3. stick in the ground floor wasn't a problem. (, whether the in the peak season work so well?). The facilitities are very well maintained, big but straightforward after a small sightseeing. We had booked all inclusive and it was everywhere not a problem his drink or a meal to get. We were on the ground floor with wonderful cliffs building, which the whole day the sea has given us. We had 2 times a problem with ants, they were abruptly since. A call at the front desk and within 15 minutes already staff with spray and then sorted out the relatively fast. A crib was as requested in the bedroom, the service was every day since (it be because it depends on the sign' please do not disturb out) the room service does a great job. At all service in this complex very big written. As a club were very many families present, but also couples without children. There were a lot of German tourist present, Russian, English and spanish we heard.

The area is great. As already mentioned we were close to the cliffs nearby the bay building. 5 minutes from our room and we were at the cliffs depending on the time of day unbelievable beautiful recordings permit. We had from the airport way a car, have the hotel easily found. By car we needed 45 minutes to the hotel. The drive went smoothly. The nearest place would be Porto Pedro, a small village with a lot of charm. A major focal point for shopping or similar Santanyi, about minutes away. From our hotel we were to Alcudia dangers, Cala Millor, El Arenal, Palma de Mallorca. Everything innterhalb 1 hour mobile. Caution is recommended for the walls limited streets, but we had time. The hotel's own bay is directly on the hotel located. This was for swimming but not my case, after about 20 meters the one in the sea purely walk is about hip-high in the water and it is very unpleasant to walk. The is however just the nature. However the pool area is huge and we always our place found.
