This Embassy has a nice touch of class. Seems relatively new, just off the riverwalk. The lobby is rich with woodwork and marble floors. Very nicely done evening reception. Room was on the 15th floor, view was of streets and buildings, no noise from streets heard. Used the Valet service. Didn't wait but 2 minutes for my car. Great staff and would definitely return. read hotel review

Great deal on the River!

Embassy Suites are similar where ever you go, but this one was especially good for a couple reasons. One, the location is excellent, being extremely close to all the action without being in the middle of it. Two, the nightly Manager's Cocktail party and the included breakfast are first class operations, extremely friendly to both adults and children. read hotel review

Room was typical Embassy Suites fare, although ours seemed larger than most we've stayed at. This could have been because of the corner location. We were on a lower level, and did not have a good view even though the room was on the river side, so you might want to get a higher location if view is important. The facility is fairly new, so everyting is in good working order and doesn't show signs of wear.

The signature breakfast service was better at this Embassy Suites than at any we've experienced (quite a few of them). Also, they have a somewhat upscale restaurant within the hotel, where we had dessert one evening. Because of this, they don't sell liquor at the hotel's bar, which is only used for the manager's cocktail party. This is a good thing, since no competition with regular bar people is required.

The staff was friendly, and did a good job of cleaning the room and replacing things. The only negative we encountered was that glasses and plates left outside some rooms (from breakfast and/or the cocktail hour) were not picked up for two days.

The location is right on the river, which can be accessed directly from the hotel, and also very near the theatre district, the Alamo, and other worthwhile attractions in the downtown area.

The Hilton group good and proper Embassy suites hotel is located in the city center at the Houston street and was for our stay exactly one year in use, so it seemed at least to manager front desk, the one year old birthday party. Opposite the hotel there is a parking on the case be sure car parking, it is better than the halsabschneiderische hotel staff, the only valet parking allows for 27, -US $on the day. But then the location of the hotel top notch, because the back of the window look, it is directly at the Riverwalk. Certainly ... not the Trubelstück the Schlendermeile, but a nice quiet piece the walks. The lobby of the hotel was extremely spacious and has a nice small water feature in the middle. The front desk is tucked away in the spacious hall almost in a corner. We have many families and have taken, because the Suitenprinzip lures larger groups. The rooms itself are approximately twice as large, as normal hotel room and consist of two rooms, a living room and a bedroom. We changed the room once, which not a problem was helpful and went. Everything was fairly new and unworn. The living room has a dining/work table as well as a couch, a small kitchenette and a TV cabinet with a flat screen TV. Latter we also find in the bedroom with comfortable beds. Everything is quite new, clean and unworn. Simply good.

Breakfast is included in the price and there is already a lot offered with a by two men occupied an egg station (with massive Salsa- pot) and actually all necessary Frühstücksannehmlichkeiten, by Alamo grundbefreite Texians required, except for freshly squeezed OJ. The breakfast finds in one part the lobby instead, the then but chairs and betischt a kind of cafeteria style has. Except the breakfast we didn't in the hotel eaten, but San Antonio is not the place.

  • Service

The service is in all areas cool until dry, warm not at all. Check in was marginal, really close by to arrogant. Only the cleaning lady shows a certain Kontaktaggressivität, when it comes to the possibility the cleaning of the rooms goes, since she seems very determined. The service told us on the first morning, that we'd sooner should come, then would he also not already clearing during our breakfast. I found it not very sensitive, that he gave me the garbage bag under the nose held.

If you go to San Antonio,, then feel the Ottonormaleuropäer probably: the cityscape is almost European, beside San Francisco, Boston and new Orleans is this the city with the most unamerikanischen flair are. Really you can and must give San Antonio on foot conquer. The hype around Alamo is for me to understand, but the Riverwalk is just Mediterranean homey.
