First at all, sorry for my englisch, i´m Austrian (haha). It was my second vacation at the Secrets Punta Cana. And it was fantastic again. The rooms are big and clean, the food is very good and enough, you can eat there more than you can. Everyone who´s working there is smiling the whole day, very nice and friendly people. Service is just wonderful. A very special thx to the animation team and the shows every night. Really fantastic, nice dance shows, costumes are very beautiful, nice and funny games at the pool and at the beach. It was really ... really fine. Super excellente. Thanks also to Fidel, Argelia, Akon, Usher, New York, Barbie, Blondy, Milkey Wey, Chevron and sorry for all I have not listet. They are all very special. Thank you so much. Also Thanks to Martinez…… at the Beach Bar, Ismael…. at the Pool Bar, Nicky…. at the Lobby Bar. I`m so sorry but I don`t remember all the names. Thank you so much for the best 13 days this year. We traveled as a couple during 10 days to this hotel. We were already at the front desk positively surprised and felt very welcome. The hotel is really great. As well as the food, as well as the cleanliness and the beach. In the neighboring hotel we went only 1-2 briefly hinüberschauen, you can tell a significant difference and it was rather an american Ballermann hotel. Therefore we stayed in our hotel. The service is perfectly everywhere. Everything was really perfect. The only problem: the classic early risers which already 06:15 your reserve chairs. We stayed at the sunset ... and from 06:30 was not a single beach chair under an umbrella available. For us it was a bit of a hassle. To two days but there was quite a change in the hotel and suddenly it was enough, if you 08:00 at the beach was. Further downside is the strong ringhörigkeit the room. It was quite hard to get used to, that the rooms to the hallway very nice and we are accordingly all the guests peruse heard and 1-2 times woken up. The important thing is: the doctor only in absolute emergency visit, the first 5 minutes cost about 1 00 $! Great hotel directly on a dream beach. The hotel is great neat and very clean. Certainly one of the better hotels in Punta Cana. Everything was already described, but i would like to make the following points that bothered me. If you at the beach shade place under one of the umbrellas like, you have to about 6:30 a. m.! Get up, because otherwise all liege were occupied. Of course, you can at 10 o'clock a place under a palm find, but every 15 minutes the beach chair moving around at least a shade to have. Then, the ... rooms are although very attractive and large, but you can hear all the noises in the hallway in the room. The doors are unfortunately not lowered that means if the chambermaids at 8 o'clock begin to work, you will be forced up. Also pops some guests their doors to, then you would think, it zerplatz on a balloon. Also drunk guests the at 2 o'clock at night singing through the hallway walk you can hear at full volume. Also high-heeled shoes are on the stone flurboden very good in the room still noticeable. Incomprehensibly, why at the 5-star resort the wifi fee (25 $for 25 hours in 6 days or 60 $for 7 days without limitation), there are worse hotels, where it is included. The pool bar will, as almost everywhere in Karibik -delighted americans occupied. (you know that but, and was actually no disturbing issue) You can all furnishings the adjoining now larimar resort use. The casino but there is an absolute insolence! Pure rip-off! You got a voucher for chips, but the same value with the planting hinzuzahlen and may only be on certain rows or colours (for example black only) at the Roulette planting! Also you had to minutes 5 are charged are. And other stupid rain. Then immediately the casino left. Disco at the larimar was okay, (all inclusive) but luckily you live in Secrets, as you the disco there surely still on some rooms heard. It is positively but here the food to mention, have rarely been to a all inclusive hotel so good food had. Whoever complained here the wails of a high standard. The specialty restaurants were all very good. No matter wether sushi, steak and Seafood, it was excellent! At the bars there was really branded spirits, of original jw black label, absolutely vodka to bombay sapphires (all-inclusive). Try one should the mama juana! The beach is at the very wide. The bathing amusements in the sea is sometimes a bit of seaweed sea spoiled. The you know, and you have to get to everywhere in Karibik expect. Entertainment was well, if you wanted you could join in, but you were not pressed. The service was also okay, depending upon coworker very good. Drinks were also brought to your beach chair. Room service free of charge. Unfortunately some only little english. Tips are not a must, but gladly taken. The room was well equipped with lots of space and jacuzzi on the balcony. The bed was comfortable. Lcd tv with about 90 programs, dw and playboy tv was also there. There is also a dvd player. The minibar was always well stocked. (beer, Cola, water, etc.) Unfortunately no spirits in the room as in mach other hotels in the dom republic Air conditioning worked well and was quite quiet. Safety deposit box in the closet, bathrobes and slippers were also. All in all, i had a nice beach vacation. The Secrets Royal Beach you can certainly recommend it. I personally would perhaps next time however another hotel in Punta Cana try, because of the reserve-issue and the loud hallway still very bother us. read more

The hotel complex is itself beautifully conceived-three-story building, beautiful plants, nice landscaped pool area. However, the way system really annoying-you can't directly to the beach, but always on the curved pool vorbeischlängeln and mind that obviously unintentionally the lying there. Moreover, the-nice-natural stone floor damp very slippery. The hotel is only for adults - but you can the neighboring hotel (family hotel) completely (including restaurants) to share. What concerns the cleanliness the hotel was really great! In the hotel you get 'luxury' -all-inclusive - that means around the hour great food, drinks, room service inclusive alcohol you have to in ... the room then however specially pay. No all-inclusive bracelet! There were mainly americans and british on site, then a couple more german, french, belgian, canadians. Very few russians. Wifi is not included, very weak for a hotel in this price range -25 $for 25 hours/6 days or a flat rate for 60$/ 7 days - insolence! We 'had' use it - the reception in the hotel is everywhere quite well. There is a wellness center-this we used and were very satisfied, although we only the 2 massages for the price of 1-offer use-because the prices are utopian! 50 minutes back massage for 139 $! Fitness centre is small but nice, new devices and everything was clean. read more

    The rooms are really large. You have sufficient space to spread out. There is a small couch and enough seating, also on the balcony (there again this hard cane furniture... Auaa ). There was a flat screen tv (1 german program - Deutsche Welle), hair dryer, make-up mirror (lit), large mirror, safe (free), coffee maker, fridge (the more bad than good cooled), telephone, big balcony - with jacuzzi! The highlight! The bathroom is large, separate toilet, two sinks. Unfortunately too few shelf for two women... ☺ The furniture was in good condition, the bed large and the mattress really good, not to hard or worn out. You can when the kissenbar the best pillows for itself out. There our room close to beach and restaurant area was, we unfortunately had always smell of food on the balcony. Unpleasant! One should also always the air conditioning light and start, at least if you the room leaves-it is operated by the humidity very fast musty in the room. The volume: Also here nothing for those seeking peace... You can hear everything! Every step, every rattle in the hallway, which through the tiles would be strengthened. The doors only with a bang to close. If the neighbor its chair crazy-it is live. That was really a shame!

    Really top! Better it almost not at all! It is in the Secrets a main restaurant, la Riviera- with buffet (breakfast/lunch/dinner), a Seafood restaurant - Oceana- (dinner), a asian restaurant - gohan -(dinner) and a grill restaurant-seaside grill-(for clubmember there separately breakfast, otherwise dinner) and a grill at the beach. There are many other restaurants in the neighboring hotel now larimar-all shared, -only one with vorabreservierung. We have all in the Secrets tested, over there, we were not at all. We had really nothing on food and service to moan. The buffet was always very various. Every evening there was another motto. Everyone comes fully at its expense-also for vegetarians there is very wide choice. There is always a lot of fresh fruits, vegetables, salads! Even unusual varieties to try. It is also according to your wishes fresh the food prepared-you can for example the fish, the meat choose beforehand, the vegetables, the pasta. Pizza. And so on! Really great! Unfortunately, there were also a great dessert corner... For very figure-conscious people is this richness either a pain. Or fatal! ☺ As i have already mentioned tips were not a must, but we enjoyed the very dedicated waiters given (1-2 $per evening now not really hurt). The à la carte restaurant were good, especially good the asian restaurant gohan -great sushi! The Oceana was also good, the seaside grill was unfortunately regarding the atmosphere forth not so great.

    The service was especially in the restaurants really top class! Very nice waiters, quick and always ready to have little fun. Tips not a must and is not expected, but we really liked to give. The cleaning of the rooms was, unfortunately, not good. Maybe we just a unmotivated lady caught... -despite tip! The beds were only changed, when we removed and put them on the floor. Everything was just very sporadically cleaned-often only in the afternoon, if you from the beach into its room-annoying! It was also not possible a new glass to get there, after one fell down. Despite all efforts... The was so bizarre, that it already again funny. After 2 days then a glass of the restaurant forward. On english you very well, however also rather at the front desk. Most of the staff, the basics, however nothing more. German you can at home ☺ We had a few annoyances -4 times the room card and we had to to the front to the front desk race and back (our room was in beach proximity), once the vorbestellte room service for breakfast at 6 o'clock (due to excursions) didn't work and we complained, since all couches with screen at the beach (small section with umbrellas, otherwise palms) always already reserved were. If 6 hours, 7 hours no matter... Even though it was forbidden. Of course, nothing brought... ☹ After the complaints we were then always daily called and it has been asked, wether everything is okay and, whether you what we can do-it was very pleasant.

    Entertainment was offered, but very decent. You were not from the pool chairs outside. However, late in the afternoon by the pool tidy music, so that you at the beach no peace had. It is also at the beach rather noisy. Helicopter and ' flying boats' make a good noise, jet skiing and parasailing boats jets on the water around, in addition to the party boats constantly dropped the anchor with properly noise. Not for those seeking peace suitable! The loungers are in good condition and at the beach also quite comfortable, if not worn out. No cushions! Either by the pool... Which one with 5 * expected. The cane pool chairs are the epitome of uncomfortable! Very hard! The problem with the reserving of pool chairs with umbrella is really big crap! We never had the breath of a chance as a place to get. Despite complaint of us... It is officially prohibited to reserve, but nobody stops get-supposedly works the hotel management on the solution to this problem. The pool itself is beautiful - very clean and meanders through the grounds... The main pool is a little ways-which is also good, since the pool bar but sometimes danebengeht... The foam party in the pool it was surprising and funny-we have never experienced something like that. There is a disco in the neighboring hotel, but we didn't visit. The evening animation was okay... Oh well... One has evenly nothing better before and then you just sprinkle... We are probably too much of Robinson spoiled.

    From the airport one drives about 20 minutes to the hotel and gets already times an insight into the poverty of the country... In the area are mainly hotels and a shopping center (within walking distance to far)-we didn't looked at. Without taxi one comes generally not far. The beach is right next to the hotel and very wide and well maintained. The already of other travelers, ' seegrasproblem', we also noticed, but didn't bother us. It was several times on the day weggeharkt. As the wind time rotated was the beach completely free of, but then the rain... Thus rather seaweed and sun ☺

It was our first vacation in the dominican republic. Because of the many positive reviews we have for this hotel determined. And that was an excellent idea! The hotel, the service, the food, etc. Exceeded actually our expectations! The staff was always very friendly and accommodating, no matter wether waiters, front desk staff, the cleaners or the barkeepers. At this point we would the waiter Angel highlight and us again for his really great, as well as fun service thank you! We felt really really great. All activities, we did not use, since we spent a pure relaxing holiday made. ... However, there were lots of possibilities - you were on the program said, however, was never someone annoying. Like already in other evaluations to be read was the room twice. Even during the day-like everywhere, then another time while we during dinner were. We found it very nice. The duvet was repulsed, the program of the next day (including 2 chocolate) found on the bed, the television was on and a small light burned. On arrival welcomed us with 'welcome home' and just you feel there also. We can all the positive reviews and would definitely recommend this hotel! read more

It has us very well in the hotel pleased. A top hotel for people without children and the children's noise on vacation want to avoid. (the hotel was only from 18 years). The only noise (but limited) was from the fat americans ☺. The staff was always very attentive, friendly, willing to help and courteous. As many already wrote, it was always constantly kept clean and tidy. The animation was decent in the background and didn't have such rumgenervt how many other hotels. Us has from the 2. day not any more addressed, and we were very satisfied so that. ... I find it incredible that some comments are where the seaweed people what at the beach washes. People you complain about the nature! Then but please in the room there you can of nature out of the way go! read more

Food was very good (if you at sushi high demands-not food). Hotel was in very good condition and the room also (large bathroom with a separate toilet). We found the staff somewhat strenuous (hello my friend...) And partially without concentration (wrong-order, with orders 2-3 asked). Wi-fi: unfortunately none free, but with the other standard somehow not fit. In the next area is a shopping center with touripreisen and otherwise only other areas. Who on vacation want, just at the beach/pool to relax (without large to make excursions), can his time there great spend. read more

    The rooms are wonderful large. The furniture is already used, but still fully functional. You can tell, that before these rooms to the now-hotel heard and for about 1 year to Secrets-hotel features. Try a room on the 3. floor to get! Rooms with gartenview you should take in order to save money. Rooms with swimup access not recommendable since everyone by their private swimming area swims. Room with a pool view you can take but nothing if the sideways view of the sea have can. Unfortunately room with a view of the sea offered, these are but with a german tour operator not! It is usually a mistake in the hotel description the respective tour operator before. In our opinion are the best rooms in block 4, 3 floor, 80 room number.

Great hotel for relaxing. Huge room. Enough loungers at the beach. Great food seasoned and with the specialty restaurant excessive selection. We have mostly in the buffet restaurant on the terrace eaten. Beautiful view on the beach and the sea. Service always and very friendly. Never was missing water or wine. Also at the beach come about every half hour a waiter came by and asked immidiateley. Entertainment in the evening something just plain stupid. Shopping in the shopping center you can forget, overpriced. The staff eingeimpfte'excellent' is the only a bit of a hassle. The hotel is very recommendable. read more

I have always problems in hotel beds, but this was great with *. There were always clean towels in the bathroom. We had all inclusive and you could if you woltte really the whole day food and beverage of the finest quality, also in the neighboring hotel now.     In the Secrets there is 3 restaurants, a grill, 4 bars. As we were there there was a theme evening every evening, french, spanish, american and so on. One always found something, that tasted. What i absolutely want is the water, a real disaster. We had dinner once at the upper bar where the shows pass water ordered, has horrible chlorine and to what i know good. Please only bottles of use. Otherwise everything very clean and tidy. They are constantly refilling and everything nicely decorated.

    Everybody was as on our first trip to the dominican republic very friendly. Everything was great and excellent. A strong praise in zamora, Felix and the small bandito menqui. Menqui always very good with dessert looked after, its bananas are spectacular. During the room cleaning there was a few small weaknesses, but not very weight taken. We mostly in english, at the front desk one speaks but also german.

    The beach and also the pool are simply first class. Except the area of the pool bar to our travel time from americans besieged was made.     From the airport it was only 20 minutes if one then in the hotel arrives, starts the vacation at.     The rooms are super! Very big and furnished nicely, a bit colorful, bright and friendly. They make a quite new impression, no mold in the bathroom and everything was clean. There is a coffee maker, a safe, tv, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, slippers, dvd player (dvds can be rented), a jacuzzi tub on the balcony (please note, not half of the bottle from the hotelshampoo for a bathroom use, the schaumberg was gigantic :-d a quarter is enough ☺. The bathroom has two sinks, a large shower, and behind a door the toilet with a bidet.

The hotel is u-shaped geared toward the sea. The modern reception you got a free Plaza where in the evening events. There is in the entire hotel complex high cleanliness (even with ashtrays). You feel good straight away welcome everyone strives much and will do its best. Wireless internet we didn't use, because we had were on holiday. The hotel secret royal for 500 guests rooms, not badly soundproofed and very spacious and modern (and very clean) the guests from the ages of 19 to 74 years and also of the nationalities were mixed. In the adjacent now larimar but ... also children, these guests may not into the secret. This is a very stylish however not gesnobte atmosphere in the secret. read more

The buffet always had themed nights, which were very extensive. The atmosphere in all restaurants from the staff very gechilled and you will enjoy the great view of the ocean with full belly.     Yes what can i say. Simply top top top. You can really say excellent. The hotel was full at our time but you never had the feeling it is undesirable or the staff is busy. Immediately got a table and so fast you could not at all drink as you again asked. Also the food, whether buffet or à la carte restaurant and very clean and friendly (if you didn't find anything here must stay at home). The room was always very clean cleaned, you have to the humidity note it can sometimes be grumpy that's normal with 70% humidity. With us the air conditioner didn't work 1 hour later it was fixed. So as lots of hotels in Europa much crib itself from.

    The beach is very clean and the loungers are not cramped together cramped. You can from 8:00 to 5:00 p. m. towels holen and this in the evening in large baskets throw. The service at the beach is top. Also the pool bar is great, you get really caribbean cocktails in the pineapple or coconut serves. Also all major alternative spirits even red bull one gets. We had never experienced something like that with all inclusive and we travel 5 weeks every year only 4 or 5 stars. The pool is very big where one was on mats float can, very relaxing. The seaweed did not bother us, it is really only 1 meters a bit and afterwards is turquoise mee, in addition, there will be always cleared away. The entertainment is reservedly however funny and in the evening very good.

    The hotel is directly at the beach. We had a room at the Plaza (furthest location very pleasant) from there you go 3 minutes to the beach. The beach is well taken care of. The loungers are very far apart and the service is at the beach top (especially Patricia and yohleni ) everyone is nice and dance once again. You can also at the beach shopping (is cheaper than in the hotel store). You can hour in a direction, fantastic. The hotel is for excursions very centrally located.

The srbs is smaller all inclusive hotel. The whole area consists of the hotels srbs and the now larimar. Guests of the srbs must all furnishings the now larimar fully mitbenützten (the preferend club spaces) reverse will not. There are no all-inclusive wristband, so you with the transition to the now larimar its room card turf must. In general i was now larimar way too loud and hectic, the offer much worse, so that you would settle down in the srbs can stay. The hotel itself is good in shot, some areas look like new, others are already nenoviert. The ... large at all the hotel is very clean. The whole day is deseamed and wiped. The garden between pool and Plaza see how painted from, and you will find no weeds or otherwise something not there is. To my great surprise was the cutlery, the glasses and the plates not 100% ig clean (fingerprints, leftovers and so on.). During our stay from 24/12-03/01 the outside of the lobbies and the entrance area the buffet freshly painted. The baurarbeiten on new oriental restaurant ' gohan' completed and you can use. In the first 3 days the utilization was about 50%, after that it was suddenly very busy. The audience was a colorful mix with about 20% guests from Germany, lots of young USA citizens, but also a few guests from Russia.     We had a junior suite on the 3 floor in block 5 on the dark side location. We had a great pool view and side sea view, fantastically. The room is large, airy, not musty smelling room and decorated up to date. The furniture made a new impression the mattresses were comfortable and not worn out. On the terrace was a jacuzzi the butler on request sunken and with rose petals decorated. The bathroom rather dark, however large, with glass shower and separate toilet/bidet. Mornings before 8:00 o'clock unfortunately no warm water! The room was every day thoroughly cleaned and the mini bar refilled. There was not any more like before rum and chips in the room. On arrival we have a bottle of sparkling wine and fruit can be. Alcohol gets you as a part of the room service not to the room. The 24 hours room service we didn't use them, but there is a small menu with dishes which you can order.

    The offer in the buffet restaurant (la Riviera) i call for a all inclusive hotel rather than small felt. The dishes were however qualitatively good. There is a range of ready-made dishes, depending on the hot topic of the type, a pizzäcke, a great salad buffet, different cheeses, mostly 2 soups, and a barbecue corner where one from a selection of fresh fish and meat prepared. I missed at the buffet but usually the 'wow' effect. There were brand name labels and the quality the cocktails are good. Cocktails are always with nice decoration presented. There is also 3 à la carte restaurant. The seaside grill (meat), the Oceana (fish) and the new asian restaurant gohan. I have all the 3 tried. The ambience is nice and private, nevertheless the food is definitely not better. Very nice it would be if the restaurant a bar would give, in the evening before or after the food can hang out. So you would not always to lobby bar climbing, which was not bad, but a little restrictive.

    Check-in: you get a cool refreshing towel, champagne and Piña Colada offered, very pleasant after a long flight. Everyone is somehow pleased about the arrival and greeted one with 'welcome home' and a smile friendly and helpful. You feel really welcome. We were Juan Manuel as our butler presented and mrs Erika from the concierge took us personally greeted and welcomed. We were then the bell boy together with our butler Juan Manuel by the complex to the room brought. On the way there us the first details on the appendix describes, meal times and procedures explained. Exemplary! Service in the room: the rooms were during our entire stay very thoroughly cleaned. In the evening there was a turn down service. It was again equipped with an extra bed, towels after, you got often lovely bed decoration from rose petals and chocolate, as well as the information leaflet with the events of the next day. Service in buffet restaurant: In bufferrestaurant there are two receptionists. A ask for the room-number and the other accompanied to the table, but of course wishes of the guests be taken into account. We are morning very gladly inside the window sat, but the preferences are just different. Disappointed i was personally from the christmas and new year's eve gala dinner, which except for some of the presentation, in nothing from the everyday food difference. There is a surcharge of 40,00 Euro per person to ask is for me not justified. Further stood for the gala dinner unfortunately only 2 meal times available. The guests had to for 6:00 p. m. or 8:30 p. m. decide. Initially i got for 8:30 p. m. no capacity. A conversation with the right person on the ground has helped and so i could reassured at 20:30 o'clock for dinner go. I felt the guests suffering which had already at 18:00 o'clock food other there were also by the pool or beach. Service at the pool or beach: The waitered drink service by the pool and beach was exemplary. I had in any hotel such a perfect and efficient service as here. At the beach bar there was peanuts, popcorn and fruit. Service at the lobby bar: Very friendly and quick. Special requests were fulfilled. Cocktails are on demand also freshly prepared. Evening one gets delicious olives and peanuts enough and each table in the inner and outer area was lovingly with candles decorated. Check-out service: Fast, competent and cordial. Immaculate Positive : friendliness and cleanliness Improvement: foreign languages of the staff Annoying: one by x different employees every day asked several times, if everything was excellent the annoying after some days extremely!

    Here i am a little torn. The hotel is on honeymooners, couples or certain occasions specializes in. Here foam parties by the pool there was for me very peculiar. Further were by the pool not only foam parties, but also rumtrinkwettbewerbe, as well as other very loud, for me too loud events with hard bass music organized. At all, i think the entire pool and the pool area from 2:30 p. m. avoid, if you any saufgelager a la Ballermann/Mallorca interest. Otherwise is the swimming pool with the lazy river fantastically decorated. The beach is very nice. To the right there was an area where one under palms and left an area with umbrellas. Unfortunately is overall at the beach close at close and thus comes the caribbean feeling definitely not on. Unfortunately, there is the problem the mehrfachliegenbesetzung. As a guest you get towels as much as you (still) wants and this without towel card.     The srbs is smaller all inclusive hotel. The whole area consists of the hotels srbs and the now larimar. Guests of the srbs must all furnishings the now larimar fully mitbenützten (the preferend club spaces) reverse will not. There are no all-inclusive wristband, so you with the transition to the now larimar its room card turf must. In general i was now larimar way too loud and hectic, the offer much worse, so that you would settle down in the srbs can stay. The hotel itself is good in shot, some areas look like new, others are already nenoviert. The large at all the hotel is very clean. The whole day is deseamed and wiped. The garden between pool and Plaza see how painted from, and you will find no weeds or otherwise something not there is. To my great surprise was the cutlery, the glasses and the plates not 100% ig clean (fingerprints, leftovers and so on.). During our stay from 24/12-03/01 the outside of the lobbies and the entrance area the buffet freshly painted. The baurarbeiten on new oriental restaurant ' gohan' completed and you can use. In the first 3 days the utilization was about 50%, after that it was suddenly very busy.     As already described the journey takes from the Punta Cana International Airport to the hotel around 20 to 30 minutes. Nearby is the shopping center Palma Real. There is a free airport shuttle is offered. For a change or when it rains, i think the ideal, for shopping not really, because everything is overpriced. The hotel lies at a beautiful broad beach of bavaro. Unfortunately, the current apparently very inconvenient, which made very much seaweed, but also trash washed ashore. Several times daily the beach but staff thoroughly cleaned. The neighboring hotel there are unfortunately no that exemplary, so you with walks at the beach, with narrow places, also times by 'everything' grope must. Very nice for the region rather small hotel the elevated class. There is as everywhere something to improve but the all in all The hotel is definitely recommndable. It was about the hotel already Everything written in the positive as well as in the negative sense which i only agree. The negative in this hotel are luckily only details the good image of the Hotels nothing special impair. Maybe you should definitely not in the high season travel. read more

It would certainly be my/our most beautiful holiday! Hotel in general was great, i can only say, so complaints there was no. However we unfortunately had with the weather pitch in 15 days more than 10 rainy days and that at a planned beach holiday! (january) the hurts! By the bad weather was of course the beach not really clean very much seaweed and sunday. Big praise however the staff this really around the hour everything cleaned! So the hotel is all expectations especially the diversity the à la carte restaurants! The service in every area absolutely stand very friendly ... and attentive! A big thank you again! Clean and well kept 5 star adult-only resort with a total of 373 rooms and suites of various categories. There are four restaurants, four bars, two pools, a gym and a spa. The facilities for disabled guests, amongst others 9 restaurants, the neighbouring now larimar resorts can be used. The complex made a really neat impression. Mixed clientele all age categories, mainly present guests from the USA and Canada were generally younger, about¼ of the guests was german-speaking. The food is all inclusive, there are luckily no 'bracelets'. Wireless internet through local vendors (in the now larimar, cash only) to ... outrageous prices as outrageous performance. read more

    There are 373 junior suites of different categories: With garden view, pool view, ocean view, there was also still the swim up junior suites with direct pool access and a few ocean front suites, but officially not to book. All rooms about 53 square meter large and decorated up to date. Bathroom with double sinks, large shower and separate toilet. Hair dryer, bathrobes and slippers are available. The living room has an individually adjustable and effective air conditioning, a ceiling fan, an alarm clock with Apple docking station, a mini bar (all-inclusive), a flat screen tv, a dvd player, a safety deposit box and a terrace or balcony with jacuzzi. The swim up junior suites in the left wing (cielo Azul) are for certain the better choice for though sunbathers should find. Here you from morning until afternoon sun, in the rooms the right hotel wing (mar esmeralda) you only from (the later) afternoon just sun, some rooms beach chairs always in the shade.

    The Secrets offers a buffet, three à la carte restaurant and four bars. Furthermore, all the neighboring now larimars be used. The you can give! At la Riviera we breakfast, lunch and dinner in buffet form served. For breakfast: extensive selection, good bread, fresh fruit juice, eggs according to desire. The sweet things are between really good and not really tasty. Whoever jam will be disappointed, here only cheapest, packaged, actually inedible product offered. For lunch : apart from the problems with our table, the lunch buffet almost better than the dinner good. Good choice, much repeated however, at the grill there was always something. Only the desserts look and taste 'convenience'. Most did not meet our taste. For dinner: as the lunch buffet, only after theme nights structured, but we have no real difference could find. The french buffet for example there was french instead of spanish sparkling wine and crepes at their own grilling station, in the spanish evening was just (as always) the spanish sparkling wine served and the serrano ham freshly cut... Everything as the other days. The (brands ) alcoholic beverages the selection was good, from wine and sparkling wine there was always only one sort of, the we did not like it. Against an extra charge but you could various wines and champagne orders. The cocktails are edible but mostly too sweet. At all bars friendly and mostly quick service.

    First the positive: Friendly and fast check-in, very nice service at the bars and in the pool area. Super was also the service in the swim up junior suites! Very attentive service in the asian restaurant gohan, good service in the restaurant Oceana. Housekeeping, depending on the person, fast, friendly and efficient. Habituation-needily only the eternal 'my friend' and ' gimme five' the most employees. But you must not join in. Annoying on duration is the eternal 'excellent', with which one actually always to questions of the staff should reply/must. Now for the negative: Housekeeping sadly partly extremely superficial and fast, which had as a consequence, that not only in our room all! Towels were forgotten and the evening turn-down service, to a 'under the door durchgeschobenes' veranstaltungsblatt the next day has limited. And around 6:00 p. m.! After complaining, they promised us immediately to take care of it... Nothing happened! The housekeeping older bathrobe took 3 phone calls, a visit the housekeeper, countless (pleasant and understanding) queries then after hours whole 3 bathrobes in the room. I think in a hotel this category you can assume, that the employees with direct contact to the english-speaking. On my, very friendly, please us two tables push next to each other we got the answer, it was banned from the management. The request after a conversation with this only with 'is not present' lashed. Then we got a table directly in the deduction of strandgrilles offered, which we because of the here existing giant cloak friendly declined. However we discovered in the immediate vicinity a further, set (non-smoking) table for 6 persons and i asked (still) polite, if we don't use should. We found the really very modest performance, the only by the 'nice' request of the waiter in the restaurant, there with money to try, nor was topped! An absolute no-go, no matter for which category hotel anywhere in the world. But obviously these problems only groups with more than four persons in the buffet, or the, which are not large prior to show their appreciation. A shame, the otherwise many nice employees, only because of which there are 3 suns! Obviously there were when it comes to the cleaning also an external laundry service. From the hotel's laundry service we got after one and a half days the laundry (from the tagesservice) from fettstreifen covered back, from the external laundry (other packaging with company logo) was the laundry (after we prior to on the tagesservice insisted) on the same afternoon perfect washed.

    Beautiful pool landscape, the deck chairs by the pool were mostly already reserved very early, luck, if you one of the on the ground floor convenient room to the garden/pool, all have their own beach chairs. At the front pool with of the pool bar from 3:00 p. m. the music loud and various games, thursdays there is a foam party. In the rooms at the rear is the but bearable, here gets you almost nothing with. At the beach there are enough sunbeds and in the left area was also umbrellas. This private Cabanas with butler service for 100 Dollar on the day are available for hire. One keeps towels free. The small gym and the spa area are located on the site of the now larimar. Until 5:00 p. m. we had in the gym no problems to the equipment to work out. The prices in the spa were outrageously high. Daily changing entertainment with live music on Plaza. At now larimar there is also an open-air disco.

    The hotel is located about 25 minutes by car away from airport. Shuttle service to a nearby shopping center. Depending on the weather is very much seaweed on the beach washed, the hotel tried this but as well as to keep them clean.
