Great hotel in a lovely location. Executive club offerings are defiantly worth the extra cost. As for a room with a sea view when you check in. Local area is more industrial but only a 10 min drive to downtown with a number of fantastic bars and restaurants. read more

Larger hotel with 9 floors a short drive from the city centre ; the condition of the hotel was absolutely alright; in of the lobby (bar) at night it was extremely noisy, there were however rather the guests as the hotel responsible... In of the lobby, at the bar and in the restaurant was wlan free; guest structure: international and what the age mixed. At the front desk there was a small shop with sandwiches, wet things and drinks; the parking spaces are free of charge! read more

    We had a standard double room with view to the harbor/ sea. The size was completely okay, the furnishing 'nordic '. Double bed with individual ceilings, desk, chair, tv (several german channels - ZDF, RTL), small fridge (not filled). Bath alright, enough room and storage space.

    Lobby-bar, restaurant; the bar we can't say much-it was in the evening definitely too loud. The breakfast in the restaurant was good, there is absolutely nothing to moan... The breakfast was included in the room rate, there was lots of different bread, sausage and cheese, a lot of sweet pastries, fish, eggs, etc.

    The service was alright but not overly 'service-oriented' -nobody helped with our luggage (we were also not asked); the room cleaning was absolutely alright, we had no complaints, can thus also nothing judge. We ordered extra pillows were delivered promptly, even if we somewhat strange looked at with this request...

    The airport (keflavik) is in approximately 40 minutes by car to reach ; the center from Reykjavik about minutes with a car or the free hotel shuttle (several times daily). In the immediate area of the hotel there were some stores (drug store, pharmacy, gas station, etc.)

The Hilton nordica is a neunstöckiges hotel with roughly about 250 rooms. The executive lounge on the eighth floor belongs to the better in Hilton-chain. The view on the sea and the city we enjoyed very gladly with a chess ( board and figures were available). Also the offer in the lounge was really worth seeing Access to the internet is in the lobby for all of the guest free of charge available ( either via wi-fi or two guests-computers). In the rooms for honors status -customers of course free internet offered. On one day fell the reception but totally ... out. read more

    With our first stay ( one night) we were upgraded to a completely normal standard room with a view of the backyard, directly above the outdoor jacuzzi the whole night on rippled has. We felt very cramped because of the precarious space available and nothing special probably due to lack of comfort. Accordingly much I complained about that circumstances. With our 2. Stay ( three nights) we were given a beautiful executive -room on the top floor-a corner room with a view to the city and to the sea. Space and in terms of the facilities corresponded this room rather the Hilton-standard. German speaking tv-channels in vain, although it according to hotel staff actually two of which should have given. Anyway was during two days no tv-signal to receive. As a replacement we could then the pay tv-movies free look. The mini bar is in all rooms empty. The empty fridge but very convenient for the own food to feed.

    The dishes in the hotel's own restaurant we can without hesitation as top class. This is true for dinner to. The breakfast convinced me not. My wife was happy with.

    We were due to several problems forced us a few times to complain. The front desk -staff appease nonmobile all complaints from. Here we give it very poor marks. The front desk manager was however a friendly and competent person. It regulated finally all to our tastes. The cleaning of the rooms we could whereas very good notes issue. The ladies were friendly, efficient and helpful. Except a lady, the knocked on, came directly into the room, polished but not until about 14 hours. According to front desk it was standard in the Hilton hotels, that the rooms not cleaned, if the guests in. Only odd, that this' standard ' of other Hilton hotels not know. Also with the hhonors benefits you would in this hotel not so exactly. Although get all the gold members lounge access, no matter wether this an upgrade or not. anderersetis denied the diamond members the breakfast in restaurant. If you then complained, you get the breakfast 'exceptionally' also in the restaurant. Altogether there are too many service-flaws. Here must the hotel urgently on the books!

    See above with' location and environment' for external tenders. The internal wellness complex convinced us not. For Hilton hhonors (diamond) members there is no admission price at. With all entry is a zehnminütige massage included. But we have concerns from hygienic view. One must in the hot tub do, then one at the neck and back massage. The staff used cream, the then partly in the water land. The pool in the wellness area is also extremely small, so that you can't swim. Both steam baths were for our stay besides business. We had the impression, that since longer as is. In a small jacuzzi sit regularly up to four persons. A bit more privacy would not bad! A sauna is also still available, this but we didn't use it. Same goes for the small but good equipped fitness center.

    The Hilton hotel is a bit outside of the city center. By bus one comes however quickly and easily to the center. For travelers with a car are traveling the hotel is however excellent, as there are plenty of free parking available - directly in front of the hotel. Shops are various in the immediate area of the hotel to find, as well as restaurants and snacks. A big shopping center is situated about ten minutes hike from the hotel. The largest swimming pool islands, the national football stadium, the streicheltierzoo and the botanical building also in ten minutes hike reachable.

The fitness and sauna area was, contrary to the hotel information subject to a charge ( not for VIP -guests), it was Wi-Fi in the lobby free of charge. As at Hilton expected very good room, great breakfast buffet, many free parking spaces in front of the house, free shuttle bus-service into town ( however not very often). read more

Very peaceful location with good starting point for excursions. Best breakfast in Iceland in all variants. The hotel is unreservedly recommendable. German tv channels as RTL to receive. Entire hotel in top condition and very clean. read more

The hotel was the best of our 11-day Iceland round trip on the ring road. Especially we have valued the good location for excursions, as well as the great views from the executive lounge on the mountains and surroundings. On the downside noticed the location to the city center ( on foot too far) on. In our opinion deserve the hotel 4 stars ( for example food, service). During the organized rental car round trip we stayed in 7 hotels, that was the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica the best, the Icelandair hotel Akureyri the second-best. Capacity 3 to fosshotel husavik, space ... 4 of the Icelandair hotel Herad in Egilstadir and capacity 5 in the hotel Courtyards. The last rank occupied the Icelandair Flughotel Keflavik and the last place the fosshotel skaftafell. read more

The check-in process was extremely smooth. Windows don't think I sound proofed. A bit of a shame only one German TV-channels (ZDF). But if you need something long island television done wrong. Very friendly and good English knowledge. A bit out of town. Perfect for excursions in West Iceland. Wireless internet free of charge in all rooms. You can hear the hum of the elevators even though we had a room furthest from the median. Was not disturbing only noticeable. read more

We have stayed on our second holiday in Iceland to the beginning and the end and three times in comparison to many other hotels the Hilton is unbeatable: huge varied breakfast buffet, express check-in and check-out, cleanliness in rental car, bus schedule and maps. The only slight defects: the room facing the street are really noisy for light sleepers, so either on the view and room to the yard or ear plugs. read more

Everything was OK for adults, but with children not allowed in the pool etc. (although the reservation required). Milk for breakfast with the comment no, from the. Warm dishes at breakfast were all cold, the scrambled eggs with flour firm made. Yuck! Staff: rude! And unfortunately really almost all! read more

The Hilton Reykjavik Nordica it was clearly in my experience of upward, in other hotels in the chain. Our room was very large, the view of the bay and mountains. The breakfast was by far the best we had on our whole trip. Late check-out was not a problem, the staff always friendly. All in all the Hilton clearly different from the rest of the hotels in Iceland and the although it sounds much cheaper than hotels in the center of the country. Only small complaint - the hotel is not very central, there were a few kilometers from the ... city center. read more

Nice hotel, comfortably furnished, not the newest, but it was still its name all the honor. The staff are friendly, the service very good. The double room was spacious, always clean and the bathroom very nice and big ideal. On Iceland probably one the best hotels. read more

We had from the beginning executive plus' and so we could use the lounge. Here we were very well taken care of and well taken care of. This was a riseiges plus! Room with a nice view. The location of the hotel is good, located less than 30 minutes walk to town, Bushaltest. In front of the hotel, free shuttle bus only sporadically; about 15 minutes walk to the large outdoor swimming pool; nice rugige city! Restaurants in the area (red chilies and restaurant Askur - tip!!!, great food, it was good and cheap. read more

A great place for a start to a perfect Islandurlaub. The staff is always friendly, even though it was already according to your reservation at 2pm could inchecken was it allows us to our room 10 hours. The breakfast buffet is great - the is not to be missed. The hotel is not right in the center of Reykjavik but there is a shuttle bus to the city center. Since we had a rental car so or so, we didn't make use of this service. There is a small but fine souvenir shop in the hotel - you also look. ... They will give you information about day trips and maps of the island. It certainly won't be our last Islandtrip was ( it was not the first) we will be back next year the Nordica as a start and Target our trip! Thoroughly recommended!!! read more

We booked the hotel as a base for our day trips. Is a little outside of the city center just that little bit quieter. The hotel is really everything you need, available. Breakfast and dinner in the bistro were very delicious! Fantastic view of the bay. read more
