It was missing always the handtuescher and partly the water. Room service is rather modest.

Good for vegetarians. Vegan have it a little more difficult. Meat eaters will find a massive choice.

Dealing with complaints, or loss is improvement worthy!

Beach chairs were very dirty, there is also every day by the pool poison gespritz!

Older Riu hotel in drogenparadis Jamaica. Drugs are unfortunately everywhere present, despite prohibition. The food was for me as a vegetarian ok, there was a varied buffet. The service was rather average, we have in the room a gold chain with a trailer lost and wanted to know, whether this possibly ended up in the laundry is, but it was only the loss included ☺

Negril is not just a nice place, we would rather go to Punta Cana flies.

The building are a bit outdated - but well maintained. Today you would door seals and a little bigger bathrooms for a hotel in the palace category expect. Terrace with chairs. Air conditioner was pleasantly quiet. Beds rückenschonend hard. Large fridge, coffee maker, ice machine on the ground floor each building.

A large buffet restaurant, 4 speciality restaurants. Reservation the day before from 8 o'clock. Huge selection already for breakfast: sparkling wine, freshly squeezed juices, pancakes, waffles, omelet fresh to order, smoked salmon, cereals, sausage, cheese and so on. Also in the evening wide choice - should something for everyone his. Always fish and seafood for offer. Buffet area very clean. Tip very welcome, but not expected.

Friendly with caribbean charm, located only after a couple of days opens. Super room cleaning, daily filling minibar. Professionals at the front desk. Childcare english but tried the non-native speakers to integrate.

Pool-games in the american style, partly somewhat loud, but one can at any time at the beach avoid. Program from 4 years. Free wireless lan in the pool- and reception area. Clean beach towels anytime interchangeable, beach chairs at pool and beach sufficiently available.

Palace Hotel with fewer luxury than otherwise but more flair. Mostly guests from USA and Canada, mostly in groups arrive and louder than the few western europeans, and russians are.

Optimal beach area, small domestic opposite didn't bother (few propeller aircraft during the day). To the airport montego bay 1,5 hours taxi or rental car. Shops and pubs in Negril downtown by taxi circa 15 Dollar just. Excursions with minibuses or rental car at least an hour's drive for example delphinpark lucea, y. s. Waterfalls.

The rooms were in facilities and condition, very good, their age not really noticeable. Everything worked spotless, only points were the defected hair-dryer and a evening without hot water. Both were taken care of immediately. The beds are exemplary comfortable and very big. Daily reliable stocked minibar. The soundproofing could be better.

The hotel has a main restaurant and 4 specialty restaurants, a fusion-food gourmet restaurant, a japanese, an italian and a steakhouse. Except for the latter we all visited. The atmosphere in the theme restaurants was most pleasant, the food quality was very good. The same also applies to the dishes in the main restaurant. Overall the diversity not quite up to the level of other palace hotels, but nevertheless still very good. The kitchen is varied, the service courteous and fast, sometimes almost zealous though. The reason for me still only 4 suns rating, is located in the wine. The in the restaurant isn basiswein is simply not enjoyable and fuselniveau. This is a house of Riu-group level absolutely unworthy. More on that later.

The service and a friendliness of the staff was exemplary. The reception team is very competent and at all times cooperative. The defected hair-dryer in my parents has 2 hours repaired. The employees are very polite and nice, try always to do everything. The cleaning of the rooms was exemplary, in the form of the evening turn down service almost too carefully. My room was always cleaned and well maintained. Fremdsprachenkenntnisse are almost not available, so english should you in your luggage. A german-speaking staff at the front desk was initially available. She was very competent and at all times approachable, it has during our stay the building to leave a change. Currently speaks no staff german. Additional services by us not taken into account.

The sport is was all well arranged. The entertainment offers soccer, aerobics and Volleyball. The fitness studio is well-appointed, the devices technically alright. The animation was overall alright, partly by the pool very loud, but not too obtrusive. The evening shows were always quite similar, partly but of good quality. Beach chairs and towels were absolutely sufficient, the beach chairs but much more uncomfortable than by the pool. Umbrellas are in the number of too few. The pool was clean and maintained, without restrictions.

The palace tropical bay is an older representative of the Riu Palace hotels, it was opened in the year 2001. Thus already 10 years on the embossment. Altogether the building, if i remember rightly, on 416 rooms. These are on several buildings with maximally 3 floors, so that actually never the feeling from sturdiness arises. For the quite long period of existence the hotel is altogether in a first-class condition, all furnishings are clean and tidy. The rooms one sees its long lifetime not really at, you have to look very accurate with minor flaws to discover. In respect to the food it is only with all inclusive bookable. Wi-fi, the building now actually in all areas, including rooms, free of charge. The connection is simple and reliable. The guest structure of the hotel is clearly american style, complemented by many canadians. German guests are regularly on location, but clearly in the minority.

The tropical bay is located right next to the beach, without through a street or similar from this being separated. The way from the reception the beach is, unlike in many other palace hotels, just 50 metres away. The beach was flat, the sand was fine and the water crystal clear. All in all but other caribbean beaches, especially the Playa Bavaro in the dominican republic, much nicer and more. Long beach walks are not possible, as the one side, it is restricted by a nature reserve and the other since by a privatabschnitt. Here one is also consistently on further inhibited. The place Negril is by taxi within easy reach. By foot is theoretically possible, however one must then the main street walk, which definitely not recommendable is. In Negril there are numerous of shopping and food, including the famous Rick's Café and even Burger King. Taxis are in the hotel, as well as directly on the street without problem. The fare must be urgently before are negotiated. Desk numerous offered, especially the ys-falls and the black river are very recommendable. Directly on the other side of the street there is a small domestic, this did not disturb us however not. There are only a few small turbopropmaschinen on the day.

The rooms were extremely clean, were every day cleaned and Riu Palace one-sided decorated, which we however that didn't bother us. The mini bar was every day refilled.

The hotel offers exclusively all inclusive at. Altogether there are four specialty restaurant, as well as a large buffet-restaurant. We have, as we specialty restaurant from other Riu Palace-hotels already knew, because of the identical menus not visited and only the buffet concentrated. Because we at home now and then fine restaurants visit, we were especially because of the partly worse evaluations in particular for the food curious. It is in any case as far as to say, that we the other reviews to this hotel not to follow, that the order of courses often repeated and the food monotonous. There is at the (evening -) buffet a wide range of starters, main-and desserts, the in our opinion fair all desires are. It is next to the americans usual burger, pizza, pasta and fries a very wide range of local as international dishes, which is not hungry leave. In the two weeks in which we in this hotel guest were, was a daily change in the dishes, so that we after two weeks not yet buffet-koller had. It will be fish-, meat-, as well as vegetarian dishes from a large variety offered, the something for every taste offer. You have to just believe, over its own shadow to jump and a bit try, that you cannot yet cost had. It is the mere worth trying. Burger, pizza, pasta and hot-dog there is also at home. However you have to at home longer find burnt plantains ( bananas), breadfruits or jakefruit to eat. And in this hotel there are of a high standard lots of possibilities for us atypical courts to try and to meet. The buffet was always clean and it were, as long as the meals were, constantly new dishes from of the kitchen born. Sometimes there were not the same dishes, whereas us this not continued to disturb.

The staff in the hotel is exceedingly friendly. As far as we could judge, speaks the staff almost exclusively English. One comes, as long as you want, always and at all times with the staff in the conversation. The jamaicans are, we also during our round trip ( see below), noticed, a very open, communicative and friendly people. We had a smaller damage in our room, without further with' not a problem' acknowledged and immediately fixed was. The staff has us at the beach and sent everything else took over. In the evening the defect was impeccably fixed. The service in the restaurants was excellent. We have, as long as we with the service in the restaurants were satisfied, for one to two Dollar tip given. At home honored you great service also with a tip, why should it then on vacation not also make.

The pool was, as far as we than vacationers came to could tell, always well visited. We didn't take advantage of the leisure activities on offer and can this not judge.

The hotel lies directly in front of the bloody bay, about 10 kilometer outside of downtown Negril with private white sandy beach. The hotel has 416 room and is in individual guesthouses divided. The houses are only two stories high, as these to the local rules up to as high as the highest palm are to be designed. Therefore, the hotel not a concrete block, but a straightforward hotel complex. Our room was in a very good general state. The rooms are neatly arranged, very clean and are cleaned daily. At the beach it is a white sandy beach, the flat into the sea drops. The water is türksblau and because of the location in the bay very clean and peaceful. The sea is near the shore relatively shallow and you have to some steps go further, around bauchtief in the water to is possible. The beach in the morning cleaned daily and is a caribbean dream. During our trip was the beach hardly visited and there was in any case free chairs, as well as shady spots under palm trees. The hotel is mostly by americans visited. Europeans, in particular German, are in the minority. For us it was now the 3. Stay in a Riu Palace in three different countries and we have because of many travel now a relatively high standards of hotels. This was in the any respect ( cleanliness, catering, service, etc.) the best by far Riu Palace this has been visited.

The hotel is about 10 kilometer outside of the city center from Negril. To into town is a taxi necessary. Nearby there is an atm machine, as well as a small store with necessary touristenartikeln. In the hotel itself there is also a small shop with the necessary holiday essentials and mitbringesln. The hotel lies directly at the sandy beach and the caribbean sea. The sunsets are from the hotel beach wonderful.

we had a normal double room. Very large also the bath. Always clean and well-kept, also very nicely furnished. Large TV, large balcony. Sufficiently large safe. very good is the the air conditioning immediately turns, when the balcony door open, in case you should forget to close, then runs the climate senseless.

Regarding dining is only one thing to complain about, that lunch and dinner unfortunately not very much variety is, as it is almost always the same. But since the choice very large is, there was always something for everyone, so that is anyway not really a problem.

Top service-I in any vacation experienced. the staff are always very, very friendly and always cared about the welfare of the tourists worried. No matter what you want it immediately every request fulfilled. Completely special thanks in Mario, in the breakfast and lunch always great to us cared has. if you notice that you German speaks, then try for a bit part in German and if you are not so good English, then speak slowly and are on it a. room was several times a day tidy and every evening asked for, the pool was simply fabulous. The room was always very clean cleaned. in dealing with complaints I can't say anything about that, since we didn't have any.

entertainment is great, the whole day this area is something going on. Special the great entertainers Neil, O'Ryan, and Kayo are always in a good mood, really friendly and for everyone to have fun. Just brilliant 3, the always mood and a good mood. free internet access in the lobby, that was great. The quality of the beach simply a dream, as one imagined. Cleanliness chairs are anyway. Enough available even if some of them are already somewhat worn, but there are enough good available. Sun screens at the beach will not required, since enough shadow of the palm trees there is.

super great very well maintained lovely area. big and very clean, top equipped rooms. the only thing what is not so great, that are lunch and dinner as it is not very varied is, but there is so much choice is nevertheless there was always something for everybody. Breakfast was great and the selection more than enough and very delicious. what would you do not need, that the Americans and Canadians, the majority and, of course, the only drinking fly over there. Sit the whole day in the pool and they acted. So you can imagine how the pool appears. But the pool required you are not, if you fly to Jamaica, since one is anyway at the beach and as you get from which luckily nothing.

great location-hotel direct at the beach and the most beautiful beach section. only an hour and a half away from airport, good options for shopping. also the go out great location, right nearby the disco 'the jungle' and a few other great bars. Can only be recommended.

we were fully satisfied. The rooms were always very clean, the maid very friendly and accommodating. The mini bar was daily filled.

There are 3 à-la-carte restaurant where you with reservation times for dinner can go. In the main restaurant it is very varied, very good Büfettessen. Rated didn't find anything here, the does not exist.

always friendly and accommodating staff in the restaurant a small problem we had, the Americans beckonings with every drink with the dollar, at the bar had to guests without tip wait. German almost not at all spoken, one gets along however with English very well. Cleaning of the rooms was always reasonable complaints we had no.

Animation we did not used. beach chairs are sufficiently available, towels one can times daily conversions without problem. The hotel water sports possibilities to a appropriate price offered. We had a 2-hourly snorkel Tour for 30 American dollars, Jund with a catamaran to 2 reefs and were very impressed.

The riu hotel was everything great, rooms were very neat and clean. Or the whole complex was always very clean, everywhere was swept and cleaned. We had booked all inclusive and could not at all use everything, otherwise we would have constant drunk been. 4 donors with a half liter of vodka/rum and so on is simply too much. In the hotel are 80 per cent Americans and Canadians, so as they are just are. (i. e. sometimes loud. )

the rooms are very well appointed and large. We were in the building 5, here you can hear unfortunately partially street. The best you want a room in the front buildings of the area toward the sea. The mini bar was filled daily filled and there is a small room service offered.

the food is very good and diverse. After 2 weeks it a bit boring, however one found really always something at the buffet. The food was good quality.

The atmosphere and the furnishings in the restaurants is brilliant. Especially evenings in the Negril are the waiters and waitresses very accommodating (personal thanks to Neville ☺.

There is a lot offered. We ourselves only table tennis played. Entertainment partly good, all in English. Evenings become a part of estates constructed where you locals things can buy( for example wooden figures, Bracelets, pictures and so on). The pool is nice laid out and a pool bar. With this we have also drinks to the beach carried forward.

The location of the hotel is good. Direct at the beach you can also small Walks( however not without a sale). At the beach are sufficient beach chairs available and also still at noon a spot. The palms there were quite a lot of shade. If you want to do something one drives with the taxi or trip company, a private rental car is not recommendable.
