Nice hotel -but!

We had us to our regular party former fellow students for two nights stay. The complex, after local information 2008 has been built, it is very tidy, clean and tidy. From the offered amenities we have the bike rent and the trip in a rowing boat use.
The guesthouse offers of the principles was everything, what you need for a peaceful or active sporty relaxation the spreewald needs.
Except for the prices for the bike rent and the trip in a rowing boat, which in our view nothing to complain are, you can get the impression not deny, that the ... remaining price on the ' fast Mark' are aligned. The prices for the breakfast, in particular for the extra 'bar-B-que' are unjustifiable. Besides fresh rolls and coffee ( but ask) are all products in the supermarket. For the barbecue evening you could already wished, that the meat and the brats from a butcher's and the salads not from the großhändlerpa - ckung.
The rowboat ride offered cakes was however nothing to complain. The prices for beer and sparkling wine whereas were astronomical.
Bad is also, that not all the guesthouse offered services by a bill cannot be settled.
Rowboat ride extra, cakes extra, drinks extra, bicycle extra, bar-B-queue extra and everything in the bar. Only the room and the breakfast can EC-map be settled.
Well, and our room was not cleaned, nor the towels exchanged.
Unfortunately, the overall impression from the outside deceptive. read more

We had a great short trip the spreewald. The Schlangenkönig is in a perfect location, directly at a channel of Spree-literally in the middle. We had a great suite. Super Luxurious! We are very much looking forward to go back! read more

Our stay the Schlangenkönig was beautiful. The complex construction was so, that one the feeling she has been with the nature 'link'. The breakfast terrace has very much flair, you sit right at the waterfront - total peace. Also in the afternoon for a cup of coffee and delicious cakes you can really relax. On request, the innkeeper us different rooms and suites shown, we were very happy from the tasteful and qualitative of high quality decor.
The staff were very attentive. A visit to the modern, new sauna is pure relaxation!
We drive in any case return to castle ... and then only in the guesthouse fireplace! Extremely recommendable nonetheless! read more

For the umpteenth time we have here very nice days, a unique whole area, everything was very well-kept the suite was in the bedroom and in the parlor with large flachbidschirmen equipped and is very homely, with fireplace, furnished. The bathroom with shower temple and bidet toilet and urinary is large and bright, very generously furnished. Such a whole furnishing we have stayed in this price category still not experienced!

In a very well maintained and with' attention to detail' equipped complex spent we repeatedly in a very pleasant and relaxing days. After a long breakfast with everything right paraphernalia (our tip: kiwi -bananas-Milkshake!) we could just prior to place our paddle tour start. Our kids found her sleeping area
Above on the gallery with a view of the spacious double room (and large TV) totally great. We parents wine on the quiet, right at the waterfront nearby terrace. Next time we test the vibrant new bicycles.
Good value for money, with a very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff - ... we will be back! read more

We have too fourth 5 days vacation in the guest house Schlangenkönig in castle/spreewald and the only recommend. Small, clean, super new complex and very nice, helpful staff. The boss, Mr meter, former world champion in cycling, a good entertainer. His fleet for bikes excellent. You can tell the attention to cycling. You get good instruction cycling.

The complex is newer age and thus in a similarly good state. Deterring for us was the welcome at the front desk! The only thing what apparently was probably the guest. The reception was so rude, that we immediately considered, a Alternativunterkunft to visit. It may be, that the young woman at the front desk from other Concerns was tormented, only the guest in such a form feel to leave, is a sign of arrogance and/or lack of professionalism-a Kommunikationstraining could create remedy. There are often' details', which prior to not communicated and then unpleasant surprises lead. So the previous ... e- Mailverkehr (which very pleasant and professinell was!) some instructions good like for instance an extremely short time window for massages, as well as the steam saunas in the suites are only a person are available (this created an unpleasant odor in use). We very much hope, our strong criticism is taken serious will.
It also differently goes, was impressive amongst others of the service staff to the meal times shown! Congratulations! This complex best opportunities, a faithful clientele to build, if the lack of points immediately being worked on. Is therefore the building from our point of view only partly recommendable nonetheless, a great shame the potential! If you with a ( sometimes) unfriendly reception can live, is there in good hands. It probably also differently goes, show other Entries. read more

Breakfast buffet leaves much to be desired; from 9:00 A. M. Refilling-if at all-only with murren. Criticism is not desirable-it is ( especially from the boss) snotty reaction. You should take plenty of tissues, because toilet paper refilling unfortunately only in irregular intervals. Clean is also not. I can the guesthouse not recommend and will never book there again. read more

The guest house consists of several houses. The entire area is well-kept, with attention to detail decorated and very clean. On the grounds are currently more building, curious to make that can be enjoyed. Construction noise was not noticeable. 16 double rooms, and 9 suitesRooms/holidays are available. Facilities/furniture are rural rustic and there to almost nothing missing. In the double rooms you could have a small fridge. The summer tourists will not be safe. The guest house offers bed and breakfast (guests tube or winter garden, depending on the number of of the guests). The guests arrived during our stay ... all of Germany (MD, national poet j. l., TF, Hal, OHV and B). read more

The guesthouse offers a homely ambience, within the beautiful spreewald. Very comfortable for a weekend, as well as longer and with children.

New pension but unfortunately not welcoming at the arrival we were given the key in the hand and we have no information, for example, when and where breakfast! A great and new area, all nicely, but: awful conditions at breakfast. Small area with few seats too. Alternative on demand in the winter, but you have to with its breakfast by the rain and because of each little thing to walk back and forth. Supply at the buffet there was only on request and then also very reluctantly. Pappige rolls, generally little variety, for example, only two kinds of juice, as 18.00 euros for a full payer breakfast really profiteering. It is also a pity, that a mail to the condition of the hotel in the breakfast room ... and the suggestions for improving the situation with ignorance, which meant no answer, they reacted. Really very sad, that alone in this problem the overall impression that low. read more

We were in a small vacation apartment self-catering. It was for a extended weekend absolutely reasonable. The offered massages were very relaxing. The hotel lies a bit outside. After castle really come had one either with the bicycle or car drive. On foot hardly feasiblly. read more
