The staff at the Wartman are the friendliest most helpful staff I have ever stayed with. I would always choose to stay here. The room is always kept so clean and is always ready on arrival. I have stayed here several times now and have never been disappointed. read more

It is a pity that i do not often in Winterthur traveled, gladly again at any time and clear in the hotel wartmann. From a to z respectively from my telephone question about my arrival in the evening the absolutely divine breakfast buffet consistently nice, friendly, competent helpful, good angel. By the way ; the breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, they should not be missed. read more

My both business stays in the hotel Wartmann, I always felt really good, so that I preferred it, instead of in Zürich, in the hotel Wartmann in Winterthur to stay and the short distance by train to Zürich to take in purchase. read more

    We had a superior double room the right big and spacious was. With sofa and desk, the bathroom with tub. The room was located to the backyard, so that from the train station nothing was to be heard. The furnishing is very functional and basic. Design or individual decor is not here to find. Is more important however, so that everything clean and tidy was. The beds were also okay.

    On the ground floor of the hotel there is an argentine steakhouse with direct access from the reception from. Here you can at the bar drinks and get this in the smokers lounge, the on the other side the front desk is. The guest lounge is big and spacious, but with smoke. In addition it has at the front desk a large drinks machine with an equally wide selection of drinks. The breakfast was plentiful and very good level. Really freshly squeezed orange juice, scrambled egg, swiss cheese, and so on and extremely friendly waiters. The breakfast room itself is a typical seminary room. However with a view of the garden, but a seminary room.

    As already described right at the train station, one is in 3 minutes walk through the underpass on the railroad platform. The center from Winterthur begins on the other side of the train station and is accordingly also quick and easy to reach. Parking in the train station parking garage ( bahnhofparking ) for the reduced price of 15 chf (instead of 25 chf) for 24 hours. In the multi-storey car park is the next exit to the hotel signposted. Park one nearby on this, it is also really only 2 minutes until the hotel entrance. Don't forget the parking permit at the front desk devaluate to leave!

I was only in this hotel for one night quartered, me however from the first minute very comfortable. The layout ( shower the zimmertüre ) needs a bit of getting used to. Apart from that the rooms are very spacious. I would particularly like to highlight the very nice contact at check in and the power-food for us treuhand-examinees =). With all new visit you feel: like coming home! The rich breakfast buffet is wonderful for itself. The location directly next to the main station Winterthur is great, only 50 meters on foot. The old town starts right at the train station. Top opening with public transport. The superior rooms are large, modern and newly renovated. Air conditioning a/deactivateable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast buffet. For smokers, there is a separate smokers lounge in the house. read more

The location of the hotel is very suitable for business with direct access to the train station and to the buses. Proximity to city center very cheap. Rooms facing the courtyard are for a city hotel in near train station, very quiet. If you know, that one the car on the train station parking, is that the access to elevators good. read more

Good and inexpensive hotel close to train station and centre. Very large, nice room. Room very quiet side. Breakfast more than enough of a variety of breads to bircher muesli from bacon eggs, jam etc. etc. Front desk friendly to surly (but not bad, everyone has a bad day). Directly opposite the station, the hotel is the central and ideal starting point for Winterthur. Despite the location at the train station the room was quiet-it was facing the courtyard garden-the staff were all super friendly! The breakfast buffet we really enjoyed-great, wide choice! read more

This was our second stay at the hotel were men and will definitely stay there again and again, if we are in Winterthur. The hotel is ideally located for all travellers, is in the middle of Center and tritzdem very quiet. read more
