Our stay at the lake Garda

We were very satisfied. - the early Zimmerräumen ( until 9:30 o'clock) -was the worst. Villa Catarina is a converted old Manor house with approximately 15 Ferienwohnungnen with different size. To note are extra charges for everything - bed sheets mibringen or extra pay - the final cleaning fee is from 1 week however included when you the kitchen clean delivers. Since we the bed linen itself brought (but we didn't can tell what a bed ( thus rather sheets than Spannbettwäsche!) we get-we shall get a sofa bed, which is why the size of the room limited was ..., because we have of course not anytime again the bed assembled. -but nevertheless sufficiently in things the beautiful Their ( gemeinschftlich of 3 parties to use but to the whole establishment and therefore big enough. Summarized we were very satisfied and managed without extra costs from, as the regular cleaning of the rooms with a week stay also could do without. read more

We went with a group of seven people and had apartment number 11. The apartment was perfectly adequate for the number of people. Completely great was the large covered balcony. The pool is a good size. The apartment is appropriately furnished, everything was there, which one needs. We would definitely stay here. read more

Great, family-friendly resort with style. House and property really class, with BBQ, pool, playground and small capacity for football. If you time it may also be a quiet spot there. We have us very comfortable and would have loved to come back, if... If not twice in 14 days in neighboring apartments would have been broken into... Apart from that, the price/performance ratio is absolutely in order. read more

    Very large and extremely clean unit (unit #11 ). Simple decor, but very functional. Only the sofa in the living room was a bit saggy. Basic kitchen facilities, but everything in very good condition. Very large, covered balcony.

    Very friendly staff. Speak perfect German. The room cleaning was excellent. The apartments are very clean. On request, the apartments can be serviced daily (surcharge). There is a bread roll service and if you wanted to, you could even book child care.

    Large and very well-kept pool with a small children's pool. Enough sun loungers available, as well as sun umbrellas. In the afternoon you still got a sunbed in the shade or with a sun umbrella without problems. There is a small playground.

    The small harbour of Manerba is within walking distance, about 20 minutes away. Manerba is a little Italian village. There aren't any promenades there. If you don't want to go on an evening stroll, then this place is enough. Shopping opportunities were close by (Lidl, Penny and Demeglio), but only to reach by car.

Very beautiful, clean area. The nearest beach is a something away, but with the kids was the pool anyway popular. Very beautiful is the nearby nature with the observation deck. read more

The resort is beautifully large garden with playground. a (swing, slide, sand box...), beach chairs and umbrellas invites you to relax. The pool offers space for old and young. The apartments are tastefully decorated and equipped with all necessary, from the cutlery to the hair dryer in the bathroom. Everything was clean. Unfortunately have not all apartments have a balcony or a terrace. It has direct view of the tower on Lake Garda. The staff was always friendly and also the daily bread delivery service is not to be sniffed at. We will come again! read more

At first glance the area looked very beautiful. One sometimes hidden faults you only recognized during your stay. The flats on ground floor were partly dark, damp granny flat. The area was mostly used by young families with infants. Reception was occupied in the morning and evening by a German speaking woman for about 1 hour, who also did caretaker services like sweeping, etc. read more

    Our apartment (no. 4) was layed out for 4 people and turned out to be a dark, damp granny flat. There was not even a window, but in each of the two rooms only a 2 winged door - once as an entrance and once as a balcony door - which had glass in the top area. However you couldn't open any of the windows. The so-called balcony turned out to be a public passage to the other apartments. The rooms were both very cramped, in the living area it wasn't possible to place 2 chairs next to each other, in the bedroom between the bed and wall there was a gap of about 30 centimeters. The apartments were badly soundproofed. The furnishings of the apartment you could sadly call cheap. Nearly everything, beginning from the beds to the cutlery came from IKEA.

    Manerba was a union of 4 small towns. There were no shopping or entertainment possibilities in the proximity. The next supermarkets with a larger offer could only be reached by car. The weekly market was compared to other towns at the Lake Garda e.g. Bardolino, Grada, etc.. But the next promenade with cafes, etc. was only in Salo. You could go nicely shopping in Salo, Lonato or Desenzano. Without a car you couldn't do anything in Manerba.
