Beautiful grounds with a nightly whistlings the baumfrösche simply relaxing. If you are looking for Jamaica flies must go on the natal and shrine of Bob Marley and the dunns river visit. You should have english, since only english spoken. If you a quiet vacation to have would like is grand palladium definitely the right hotel. read more

In this hotel there is no special emphasis on good 5-star -service put. Example: - we are used to it, in a 5 star hotel the welcome in the room a bottle of sparkling wine to find. In this hotel there are however not even a welcome drink. - the mini bar is standard with 4 soft drinks, 2 water and 2 beer stocked. Here you may well assume, that the whole world full of beer drunkards and guests in the evening not also times comfortably in the moonlight a glass of wine on the terrace to enjoy want. The hotel is together with the Jamaica resort usable. The complex is in a typical size for a grand palladium with many villas and massive lobby. The villas are with around 40 to 42 suites are not overly large, you feel quite comfortable. A pleasant entrance area with a chic gestaltendem inner courtyard with pool and plants. The junior suites are really large, you have everything you need in a room with a safe, mini bar, tv with 2 German channels, balcony or terrace. The bed was really very clean ( with a view of the mattress), and every day ... freshly changed. Exactly like the rest of the room' s. The bathroom is with a shower and huge jacuzzi bath tub also super. Also very clean and every day freshly cleaned. The guest structure we would on 95% americans, 2% germans, 1% japanese, 1% russians and 1% other:-). The average age we would on 35 tap, there were young and older but pensioners rather rare. The americans ( becherfraktion ) are quite thirsty but in all not a problem or in any kind of abusive or rude. You feel very at ease! read more

    Room, are hui :-) really pleasant large and very clean. The furnishing the furniture is of course not as the carpenter from Germany but nevertheless really good. Mini bar is filled up every day. There is also a coffee machine and iron ( if you need :-) ). We had with our room no problem or some broken things.

    Food was great! There are 2 buffet restaurants and I think 4 a ' la carte restaurants. A buffet had to, because the hotel only about 50% full in September therefore we were always in the Negril buffet restaurant and once in the mexican restaurant. In the buffet restaurant it is very pleasant and very friendly. It is for all delicious there to eat. And if it didn't work meat or fish then there is also pasta, always. The quality we found very good, the house wine and the beer taste also. All together really good. The hygiene was also top. There is every day another country theme every night at the buffet so that there were also something else returns. The atmosphere is well, thanks air conditioning also about the food very bearable. You look at but also on the dress sense, so with bikini or topless is of course not. One is always asking how much persons you can and you will be in a table hinbegleitet. Tips of course we gladly accepted is but not a must! It was with us in cleaning lady and bell boy limited, because one for the food every day other service has...

    Great I can only say. Everywhere only friendliness, no matter where you are. It is however only English announced, one comes however with the English really good by. However the friendliness is brilliant ( I sometimes a bit too much). The doctor I also visit the second day. My ear was back to after the snorkeling. 210 Dollar only for that the doctor to the hotel and again 200 Dollar for the ohrreinigung and 2 drugs where I did net took, thinks also request to a travel insurance :-)

    Sport gives it also. Have tennis played and once Midget golf whereby Midget golf not comparable is as at home. Only a couple trains and quite cheap. Behind the tennis court, the motors of of the airconditioning, the us for the volume a little disturbed me at the tennis play. Internet when I-phone or similar, with wi-fi, apart from that it costs. The main pool with pool bar is huge and very clean. Everything with white tiles. Makes already what :-). The entertainment is well, next to the pool is a volleyball place where the small house with the entertainers is located. If you with the beach chair in the first rows is quickly realize the 11:00 A. M. quite loud with the music, and it was sometimes too loud, but for the americans ( becherfraktion ), it is probably ok. Further in the back, but it is then already nice and quiet, with very good loungers by the pool. There are enough umbrella available. There were showers by the pool and at the beaches also enough. All together by the pool very clean. But if you the nature and is looking for peace and quiet is anyway at the sunset cove!

    About the location there is also a lot to write. There are from the airport montego bay about 40 minutes to lucea, the road is quite tidy. The next larger village called Negril is also about 40 minutes away. There was transferbusse or taxis ( bus cost per person circa 25 Dollar) taxi I know not but makes a fixed price from at the hotel otherwise it could become expensive. In the hotel there are 4 beaches the sunset cove is the best with sand and enough chairs in the shade. In the water it is approximately 12 meters until then first green on the floor and then coral reefs. The Poseidon the sunset cove was quite good, but there are more snacks and small salad buffet. Don not too badly disturb of about 15 black birds the at the beach while searching for food and one or another time on the couch their machinations behind. It is quite quiet and no loud music to hear. Pedal boats, sailing, snorkeling is free. Diving and banana costs of course which :-). You must definitely with your own or lent snorkel into the water go, it is worthwhile! The las brisas beach right next to the pool is only with water shoes to visit. In the water only rock. Excursions there is obviously also some, but for 135 Dollar per person the black river and ys in case with a visit to the appelton rum factory the best is, in my opinion. There is also the roots and culture trip for 125 Dollar per person where the life of the rastafarian states and the Bob Marley grave visited (photo ban). What a great shame if one already times to the tomb is! But there is also many other what I now but not all go through.

The hotel has good 500 room in the extensive complex good on villas and bungalows are spread out. The hotel consists of two resorts, the Jamaica and the lady Hamilton. Since we there on our honeymoon, we had the cabana ocean front suite (in the lady Hamilton resort) booked. The hotel has two lobbies and a spa. Several pools and bays. Otherwise there is a sports bar with billiards and Kicker, a small casino, a disco and several bars, as well as a theater in the evening shows the entertainers take place. In the hotel complex is everything clean and ... tidy. Always and everywhere are people to ensure, that this remains in such a way. We had booked all inclusive what very recommendable was. Guests: almost exclusively couples and families all age groups. Many americans but also locals. Very few germans and other nationalities. read more

    We evaluate the cabana ocean front suite number 3063. A very large room with open bath ( toilet extra!) and open-air shower and balcony. Two washbasin, jacuzzi, large soft bed, flat screen tv ( two German program with current program!) , air conditioning, fan, telephone, alarm clock, mini bar ( the daily once re-filled free of charge!) , coffee maker, coffee machine, safe in the closet, as well as T. V.,, couch and sitting area. Condition of the furniture was very good, only one of the requirements of loungers on the balcony was torn. Room is cleaned daily!

    Where should we now start!? Three buffet-restaurants, six à la carte restaurant ( mexican, asian, indian, creole, Italian, steak house ), as well as a sea food restaurant and a snack bar. Several bars on the whole complex distributed, in the largest the 'infinity bar' every evening with live music band and the best Piña Colada:-) in the à la carte restaurant are the portions small, but you will nevertheless full with appetizer, main course, dessert and salad bar. Only with wine from the menu and for example Hummer must be paid. Buffet restaurant ( we evaluate especially the' Negril', because we usually ate). Every evening there is a other theme nights for example french cuisine, Italian, american bbq specialties, jamaicanische kitchen etc. The repeated weekly is however not bad, because the dishes nevertheless partly vary. The food was always warm and always sufficiently available no matter wether one around half one to eat or half three. There is a delicious salad buffet with different dressings, delicious cakes and pies and fruit as dessert, freshly prepared pasta of your choice, pizza and burger yourself :-) for breakfast various cereals, fruit, toast, a variety of breads, marmelade, pancakes etc. etc. etc. Cleanliness in the restaurant: always someone the replenishment and the plates cleans, someone zusammenkehrt. You can sit outside ( not in the à la carte restaurant).

    The staff were mostly friendly, accommodating and helpful. But: without good English or at least spanish is nothing at all! On our maid we can also only positive things to say. Even without tip are the people always friendly, but of course you should also from time to time a small tip give. The hotel offers a laundry service, doctor and child care ( we everything did not use it, so we cannot rate). Smaller' complaints' respectively questions and requests were always polite and immediately fulfilled. Access to the internet Wi-Fi free of charge in the lobby the lady Hamilton, apart from that two computers in the lobby lady Hamilton and two in the Jamaica (6 US Dollar the hour). Telephone booths also in the lobby the lady Hamilton. In the lobby of the Jamaica resort is a atm (atm) the scotiabank with the one with a credit card Jamaica Dollar or American Dollar could withdraw. For a fee: spa (expensive!) , golf nearby ( about 10 minute drive ), diving The entertainers have actually very good shows ( especially the dance performances), blöd was only that the presentation always English was. Internet as already said subject to a charge on computer or free of charge wi-fi in the lobby for brought device. Beach: rough up fine sandy, because seaweeds at the reason we would bathing shoe recommend. The chairs and sunscreens at the beach are free of charge. Main pool: very big with integrated jacuzzis. What disturbed us, were several americans the leftovers your at the swim-up bar order drinks in the pool tilting have. Apart from that is the pool cleaned every day. What we found to be very nice: there were never too lots of people by the pool or beach, the everything very well distributed. The adults pool is the cabana ocean front suites and is a small but fine pool with chill atmosphere in the morning, afternoon unfortunately somewhat loud music.     The hotel has four private beach bays. The two most beautiful in our opinion the cabana ocean front suites (the biggest) and the sunset cove ( however by many locals sometimes very loud). There are also water sports activities offered, for example kayaking, catamaran, pedal boats, snorkeling without fee, diving, sailing lessons etc. For a fee. Of the entire area it is nowhere far to the beach respectively pool. The place lucea is within 5 minutes' drive, Negril in about 45 minutes, and the airport in montego bay around 35 to 40 -minute drive reachable. Shops: in the hotel is a small supermarket ( giftshop) but everything is there overpriced. Small example: 1 packet of cigarettes in Negril 6 Dollar, in the hotel 13 Dollar. So only buying if definitely necessary. The next good shopping options there are in Negril. As mentioned a disco ( open daily 23 until o'clock) is available, however is this with felt 120 decibel for us just too loud been. Otherwise there was never much the matter. Excursions: straight-cheap something else! Either your take a rental car or ask the taxi drivers at the hotel and is a good price from, as we have done. Not advisable from the trip dolphin cove. Is although it is only about 5 minutes' drive from the hotel way, but then comes the mean surprise. The show costs 26 US Dollar per person, dolphin touch 50 Dollar per person and with a dolphin swim costs 102 Dollar per person! So a bit rude. Also not so great was the trip ' rafting in the Martha brae ', the raft costs per couple 60 US Dollar and so great it was also again not. Worth seeing was whereas black river with crocodiles and ys in case. Disappointed in our experience against rick's cafe. But, convince yourself. Respect in Negril: pushy salesmen and outrageous hotel employees the 5 Dollar per person like if one on 'your' beach section sits, although the beach actually there is public.

It is a wonderful and large hotel complex. The staff is always friendly and they have always good mood. The complex is tiptop clean and tidy. Also the rooms were always properly cleaned. The mini bar was refilled daily, what is perhaps missing, is a small bottle of wine. Of course the typical Caribbean beach expected, is not correctly waived. You should stay a in Negril a hotel search. But at this hotel complex the largest zwembadgedeelte from Jamaica. And this Pool is really unique. The foreign languages skills of the staff limited however in English. So prepare for it. ... Tours, the from the hotel offered, are generally English. Most tourist there are also out of Amerika or England. If you are over the travel guide tours Bay, they are usually in German and highly recommendable, however very expensive. In any case we can the hotel quiet conscience only recommend. read more

all in all a more relaxing beach vacation, nothing for Perfectionists, therefor one is stop in Jamaica and enjoys great food, fun staff, by a small tip still friendly and courteous. Little German guests, English language skills were very advantageous. Spa great equipped except for the showers. read more

the complex is incredibly large and looks really very well maintained, with beautiful garden (Palms, flowers, etc.) and maximum 3-story buildings in the colonial style.     we had booked a suite and it was really great, living/ bedroom with each tv and adjoining balconies, equipped with wood leagues and chairs. The bed is huge and the mattress great (not too hard, but also not worn out), the bathroom with shower and a Jacuzzi. the mini bar was every day re-filled and the housemaid made every day for surprises, for example with flowers on the bed, or we had 7 towels one day, or only 2 on the next ( no matter wether towel on the floor lag or not), but Hey: not a problem;-)

    in this complex you can really 24 hours food and some Americans, Canadians took the really true! There is lots of restaurants and a large buffet restaurant, with but unfortunately very few spots on the covered terrace;-(, alternative -air-conditioned massive Hall... As other reviewers said, are the translations of the food really to shoot, we often warm laughed... 'Pork from pineapple' , sweet ;-) the breakfast was hearty, but monotonous, you can but also your eggs in any variation of the live cooking station prepared (as the scrambled eggs at the buffet 'swim')! In The buffet restaurant at lunch there were always sushi ( yummy ) and everything you frittieren can... and we determined, one can really reach everything deep-fry! in the evening you had the choice various restaurants (Indian delicious), or buffet restaurant with 1 times a week changing themes (' American',' Mexican',' italian ' etc., whereby the dishes typical of the country often sought to be). What really annoying is, are the guests in a very, very casual clothes( swimming shorts and slippers?) And naturally the thermo cup not lack...

    the complex located in several beach sections, but directly outside of the complex there was unfortunately nothing.. ., really nothing! the next town is Lucea, CIRCA 10 to 15 minutes by car, but not really worth seeing, and to negril it was about 50 minutes this means' fast time out ' and what other see, will be difficult. One should consider, if one does not plan its vacation -only- in the hotel complex to spend, without definitely the expensive excursions book to have.

the hotel is in several buildings divided: the large open lobby and front desk, as well as the individual houses with their rooms. altogether includes the hotel 1500 rooms. Of which are located on the sharpened at the water front the exclusive Honeymoonsuiten the complex and the rooms are in top clean condition. A troop of gardeners, Maids and other employees daily hard to keep everything clean. we had all-inclusive ( all inclusive) booked and didn't regret it, can only be recommended. the guest structure is what the age regards very mixed, however from the nationalities are mostly Americans and ... Canadians to be met. the Germans were somewhat underrepresented, which however in almost 10 hours flight (and for the Americans only 2-3 hour) easy explain leaves. read more

    We had the honeymoonsuite with the name 'Ginger'. the room was beautiful, very big, with its own Jacuzzi, massive terrace with a view of the sea and outdoor shower. the furniture is very modern and in good condition. on the wall a fatter flat screen with however only 2 German channels. The hot tub was of course the highlight and can only be recommended, the definitely so often it is to be realized. It takes a certain time until the filled up was, but a great fun. the mini bar is in the all inclusive with included and are replenished daily. air conditioning is available and on the day purpose, who likes it. I am not a fan of air-conditioning devices, but by the schwülfeuchte warmth it had for me its benefits. Please definitely a first aid kit to bring their own, at least the little ailments itself to sort out and definitely a reisekrankenversicherung lock (only a well-intentioned advice-AA for example 18 euros for the year for two people). The child care, even if we didn't use it because we don't have any kids yet, always looked very lovingly. There were partly also smaller children (2a 3 years) made, everything not a problem. in the evening, after the dinner, that there were then games and dances in the theatre listed (mini show) very, very cute. One should possibly times a reason to the complaint you should be either directly at the women/ men from the guest relations or at the front desk shall apply. Hotel top, I would recommend this hotel absolutely recommend, and for those in search of peace, there is the area from 18. The bungalows in the area super nice and very good equipped, you feel very comfortable. Food and beverages of the finest quality, and of course Jamaican until eurpäische kitchen, so something for everyone. Those who do a good English is super with good reason. Otherwise the jamaicaner understand the language the hands ☺ we really felt very comfortable here. Despite the many tourists is not noticed at the beach, you'll have your peace and if you are not really undertake would there are a lot of nothing. Trips are postable over the travel agencies. What is also worthwhile. If you don't want to take a taxi but negotiate the price beforehand. unfortunately our mini bar was always forget about. Three times we had to complain. I had rarely seen such attentive and friendly staff. Great, spacious hotel to feel good, high standard. Five stars are justified. Bit far out of the way, but therefor plenty of possibilities for trips also sporting nature. Again at any time. read more

We can only regret and britta its really good description not to have followed. The hotel has no five stars deserves. Cold food in en restaurants, poor service, lack of selection of international drinks, very bad beach just to mention a few points. read more
