A small very stylish hotel, in ideal location to the island Maritius to explore. To Port Louis by bus in only 35 minutes for a total cost 1,50 Euro or the nearby grand baie. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms nice and modern, however with partly very small bathroom, or baths with more awkward layout. Beach small however very nice, not to say one of the most beautiful in this area. Sea a bit rocky, but with bathing shoes for swimming very suitable. read more

Relatively small hotel with ausgezeichnechtem service, continuous friendly staff. Room clean and bright, in good condition. Highly recommended the rooms are on the 1. floor. Breakfast somewhat monotonous, but sufficient. Lunch and dinner alternate as a buffet or menu. Tasty and something for everyone there. Mostly visited by many french. English duty! Small beach, water really clean, but the surface very rocky. read more

The hotel is small though, but everything was there, what one wished. We had a smaller room with a balcony. But you told us, ever more often we were quartered, ever greater the room! The food was ok, for any taste was something there. Wether meat, fish, poultry or vegetables. Only for breakfast the choices may have been somewhat larger. The staff were always friendly. For entertainment in the evening was with music and singing with dance catered for. The weather was not so great. It would be certainly boring, we would have not three days excursions booked, which we ... all visitors to Maritius highly recommend. Each trip was a great experience. Transport service was good, the food during the trips as well. For independent excursions, are always taxis in front of the hotel. It recommends however, the price before the beginning the drive to agree. All together the stay was pleasant. read more

    Reasonably simple, but very elaborate and hotel beautiful decor. ( the architect/interior decorator get anyway 100 points, as mentioned above) Mattresses comfortable. TV quite large, mauritianisches tv very funny, because you could crioulo learning. Apart from that some franz. And English channels.

    We had the half board. Mornings breakfast buffet, evenings buffet, but 1a 2 times the week evenings à la carte. à la carte was always excellent. The evening buffet mostly very good, maybe 3 of 10 times only mediocre. Fish ( small slices) there was every evening fresh from the pan, really recommendable. The stronger piece are the best:-) ( tuna or so ) the breakfast buffet looks initially a bit manageable from, but is however everything was always fresh and quite tasty. Omelets, eggs and crepes are also freshly prepared and are very recommendable. We had breakfast every morning was almost an hour for breakfast and really enjoyed it (you sit also very nice almost right at the waterfront)

    Absolutely first class, everyone is very friendly and helpful. Cleaning of the rooms great. Foreign languages: some waiter speak a little German, and are glad about it, it, too, but English and french is of course the best.

    Us it was mainly around the snorkeling, you can ( quiet lake provided) very good. You should Maritius but not with the red sea or Maldives comparisons, there are fewer fish as there, however therefor many different (so about 100 species counted, the reef recovered from el Nino and various cyclones ) apart from that for free kayak (nice), water skiing (fast and glasbodenboden -boat trip over the reef (nice) Cycling (a rudimentary, but fahrtüchtiges mountain bike for about 7 €per half day, organized by the front desk) made also have fun, the traffic is not so bad, as some other here writes, am twice per 50 kilometer rumgegurkt, and if cheerful from the laundry looks, there is usually a nice gegrüße with the mauritianern. And the long narrow pool is long enough ( approximately 20 meters), make sense swim a few lenghts and something love handles abzutrainieren. Three times the week there is a band, once with sega -dance performance. Since we now already the 3. the indian ocean are (maur. Seychelles), we must dancing. Folds already really good;-) From the band are actually some pretty good.

    Great position right on the beach, respectively on the reef. The reef edge was very close ( approximately 100 meters), that means with restless weather the baden somewhat limited his. But imo for snorkelers the best reef on the west coast. At stronger waves but you do not with the taxi around 4 to 6 kilometer north to troux aux biches or mon choisy to the broad sandy beach drive. There is the reef around 600 to 900 meters far away and that is why no wave more. Approximately 5 to 10 minutes on foot after point aux pimento' town center', there, there are a few small shops with food. And 2 restaurants. Small disadvantage: it is a little out of the way, if you nightlife searches, should be to grand baie. Point aux allspice is also rather very simple and poor, refined it is in troux a. B. Or chic then in grand baie. US however did not disturb.

In May we spent our honeymoon and felt for this hotel decided, which we definitely not regret it. The hotel is great, clean, polite staff, varied kitchen, something for everyone. Lunch all carte menus. Evenings there were almost always buffet. The waiters tried very, are very friendly. But beware the Austernmann at the beach, in our experience fresh Oysters offered, so that it at the beach for the guests from the hotel fresh Oysters (no costs have been mentioned) the my husband tasted very good, but at the end mentioned what they cost, for 30 piece 170 Euro requires, we ... could the whole then down action 120 Euro. Afterwards we experienced, that a piece around the 3 Euro costs. The man we have of course not again seen, when we were there. read more

The hotel for its three stars is perfect. A rental car would be recommended for longer stay, since the bus connection not very frequent and taxis very expensive, although good bargain can. read more

But the hotel! The le recif is located on a rocky public beach. In order to to get into the water, you must especially at low tide, over sharp rocks accounted for. This is a absolute hole and is a disgrace for all types of travelers, the long flight did. Even our travel guide was shocked when I saw the room. Having regard to solid complaints with the general manager we were after 2 days a better room offered. His staff we were not in a position to do so. in principle, you can put all of the discussions with hotel staff save, because they have no decision-making powers are provided with. The GM had obviously had a bad conscience, that we have a late-Offcheck out and our half board of dinner able to lunch.

    The breakfast and especially the presentation is a joke! The landlord and negligence on the part of the offer was appalling. When we our Omelet Chillis requested, the chef said, so it could not have been a bit. The standard rooms are one room, separation of the service toilet only by ' Selbstbau furniture' from the living room, no choice ventilation the swimming part, always damp (Fuerteventura on the walls), painted concrete screed in our case already in need of renovation. Cleaning staff rather slowthe rest of the area. However top quality and atmosphere in the dining room very good. Great staff in the restaurant. Island otherwise a dream. Definitely with the locals buses and time hiking. Great! read more

The standard rooms are very Spartan... No storage room, no separate bathroom (toilet only with screen!), ants everywhere. Beach narrow and steep, by a lot of rocks and surf limited (at times prohibited) swim. Breakfast monotonous and bland, service variable (sometimes very good, sometimes but also penetrating or careless). The hotel management was always present and approachable, seeking improvement... Nevertheless unfortunately no recommendation. read more

The hotel was very broad and usually also aptly described. I have only a few minor details in for me. Negative points-we would have a larger offer both in the morning, as also in the evening in the hotel, which you in Mauritius on every street corner were offered-beach relatively coarse-fabric seat bags on the balcony often wet-our room was very clairaudient!-outside of the hotel area, the garbage cans land only very rarely in (pity; the government will need to undertake what) positive points-modern, stylish, well-kept hotel area-personal contact with the manager of the hotel-very tasty menus twice ... a week (fish!)-outstanding service! (Five star-standard)-top price/performance ratio tips-book a room on the first floor with a view of the sea!-the front desk about a taxi driver the whole day for excursions. Is cheaper than a rental car and has its own chauffeur the left lane traffic and with insider can show. (Price before the departure negotiate; about 70 euros per day)-when we 'tour' by separate reservation of hotel, flight and transfer about 250 €per person saved! Conclusion: The positive aspects outweigh the negative way. We can all, a relaxing vacation in the state-of-the-art hotel with top service absolutely recommend and want to spend on knick-knack as a large swimming pool (we had the ocean!), golf course, tennis courts, etc. p. S. the rooms are functional and modern, however should you not a five-star rooms and that the floor with direct access to the beach not always hundred % of sand may be exempted should be clear to everyone. We stayed for ten days with our daughter (4 months) and it was ideal for us! For a three star hotel, there was a very good standard. Food (except for breakfast, little varied), general cleanliness and service are, I believe, at least four stars. The only drawback is the size of room. This could be a little more spacious. The Murphy bed was a bit cramped. The hotel is located in a quiet area and because of the few rooms in the hotel everything was overlookable pleasant. Small, family, chic Hotel for feeling well. Breakfast buffet is very easy and straightforward, the same selection each morning. But otherwise good to very good kitchen. We had half board booked, was perfectly adequate. The lunch snacks in the restaurant were reasonably priced and delicious. Drink prices in the hotel also human (beer 2.50 euros, for example). The manager of the hotel is very concerned about the well-being of its guests. Pool was small but very clean. The beach is coarse and water dropping. The hotel is exactly the same, as it is available on our website. Ideal for relaxation, with a book on the couch being, food right on the sea front overlooking the sunset-everything was quiet and discreet. No party. The music from the live bands in the evening was unfortunately somewhat monotonous. In the evening there was alternate buffet or menu. It there was something for everyone and it was also always on special requests. The breakfast was more than adequate with fruit, yogurt, freshly prepared omelets and English breakfast (bacon, baked beans) the prices are moderate. A few meters from ... the hotel there is a country typical small supermarket, in which one beverages (also alcohol) can buy food and snacks. Also quite nearby is the bus station with direct access to grand Baie (20 minutes, 25 rupees) and Port Louis (45 minutes). In front of the hotel there is always a taxi (grand Baie, 400 rupees). read more

We were for the first time on our honeymoon Mauritius-for there should be something special. And we were not disappointed, on the contrary! The hotel had good transport connections and excursion Options without any problems, because you can just the beach and the complex with a great pool and the beautiful Bay or just many possibilities of excursions-we had sought a varied 'program' and some have done (which allow the ten day). The friendliness and courtesy of the staff we had in any holiday so-You can tell, that everyone would be happy to guests and this a great holiday would ... like to help. For the excursions the next time we more by taxi or bus undertake, since the excursions from the travel agency are all right expensive-the taxi drivers know each other very well with the country and people and has many nice places-as you should only departure the price. We would not hesitate to stay there again and go into this hotel, since it very much charm and atmosphere- great the dinner music in the evening at the delicious food, as it is really vacation Feeling on! with good reason this hotel has so much positive feedback-we hope, that it remains in such a way! read more

The hotel can be recommended. The location is okay. Unfortunately the hotel is located right and left next to the hotel for a public beach locals the littered is. Long walks on the beach are not possible. We had a standard room on the ground floor which was very small and smelled extremely damp. Not so nice. For a couple of day this hotel is highly recommended but not for two weeks. The restaurant is amazing and the whole decor. Very modern and young. Food in the restaurant was okay. Unfortunately there was in the morning the cold cuts and ... dinner was unfortunately not much variety. Overall the food was simply, so I would not recommend to stay here longer, but after a week to change the hotel for example to grand Bay High. With the taxi cost 10, -€. Super! Absolutely recommendable. read more
