Rather for business travelers recommendable. With our offer no breakfast, no internet in the room, free in the lobby and café und restaurant right at the hotel. Directly with a small shopping center connected. No fridge and no safe in the room. Downtown is generally far away from the typical with los angeles assozierten sights, such as hollywood, universal studios, malibu or other beaches, but porblemlos with a car or public transport to reach. The Sheraton its large name does not do it justice. The hotel is outdated. The staff ( contrary to the general very high service, in the States) below average. The location ( down town) is not so especially. It was recommended to us by sunset not more onto the street to go. Also during the day are a lot of homeless people and dark Make in immediate environment from the hotel on. We were in the days on the street several times begging. The hotel is in sum already reasonable in the proportion to the price but too expensive. read more

Great location in downtown-Macy's, Victoria' s secret, post office. All right in the house. metro right around the corner! Several small and large shops-which partly also 24 hours open - directly at the hotel. Free use of the internet in the hotel and PCs available for free in the lobby and printer. Starbucks directly next to the reception! Trip from the airport to the hotel with the shuttle bus about 30 minutes ( without traffic). Room ( we were 2 times there) are very spacious, beds extremely comfortable, bathroom also large and several toiletries and hair dryer free of charge ... available. The Sheraton downtown los angeles is a perfect hotel for the start into the hustle and bustle of a big city like los angeles. Starting the booked trip we nächtigten 3 times in this hotel. It was all ok. The rooms are big and clean. The breakfast buffet is for american standards very european and good in terms of taste. This hotel istals base for exploring los angeles very well. Directly opposite is a subway bahnststion, the whole city underground opens.
All in all i can recommend the hotel. read more

We had the hotel with our round trip once at the start and 1 times at the end with half board. As it always only starting from
6. 30 pm breakfast and we have been at 6 o'clock to be picked up, we have at the end our journey no breakfast and no lunch box get more. Apart from that was the food good. read more

Central hotel with a few weaknesses
There were difficulties at the check-in, the hotel was meeting point (start and end of ) for a round trip with auiva. Shuttle service from the airport to the hotel was not to find, so we had to take a taxi.
At the front desk was supposedly the tour operator not filled in. Meyers world trips, then after half an hour we had our rooms. She were reasonable for 2 nights.
We knew not, whether the mistake in the hotel or by the tour operator created.
At the end then again difficulties at check ... in, the same problem, it took ages for one night.
From our group had a family (3 adults) only a double room get, although 2 room we booked, for the return trip. We 2 paare had to wait a long time until the 2. room there was, it was in a bad condition. The closet broken.
We only ate breakfast in the hotel, the was very good. Dinner we are around the corner gone, there are a lot of possibilities simple and good to food or if you want to also in different noble restaurants to go.
The traffic connections are very good. Taxes and bus on the doorstep, metro over the street. read more

The hotel is located right in the centre, staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurants in the hotel we didn't tested, but there were possibilities outside of the hotel problem-free, informed! In the hotel there is a Starbucks for breakfast (as long as you don't go to the hotel's own restaurant you want to go)! The bathroom is rather small, typically American but very clean! The usual price for this hotel I think over the top, but when highly recommendable! read more

Very beautiful hotel La downtown. As you are in La at a car the location is as a departure point for a la be recommended. The rooms are huge and well equipped. The staff friendly and helpful. Small tip: not in the parking garage is ridiculously expensive. In immediate near the hotel one could rent for $5-6 per night guest parking. read more

Our rental car since we didn't want to park on the street, we had to take the dollar per night to 32. Lots of police and security on the roads. Universal Studios, Hollywood, and anything else so worth seeing is, is within 15-20 minutes to reach with the car well. As public ... transport we saw buses. The hotel was located directly at a shopping centre. Restaurants and fast food shops are also some nearby. Within walking distance. We have a three-week trip. We were granted an early check-in. The parking garage is not for large cars, so we had to park a few blocks away. In the lobby there is free internet computers for guests' use. Overall, good location, a few blocks away you feel but not comfortable. read more

We have four great nights at the 16. The Sheraton downtown la spent and highly recommend this hotel!
First of all it is right in the middle of downtown, and is a perfect starting point very suitable!
We always took the metro (located across the street) to Hollywood and then 48 hours we had a ticket for those sightseeing bus. And so we are from the 'walk of Fame' deviated from the city to the Santa Monica pier! In between we are contracted out, we angeschuat the property and then again with the bus drove, everything was relatively easy!
So ..., now back to the hotel! Parking at the hotel is very expensive (I think 38 $/ day or so) across the street from the hotel a private car park and since we paid per day 5 $, so here is a little to be careful!
The hotel is very well equipped and you feel immediately! When you enter the hotel is first on the escalators down to the front desk and bar area! Internet was free for the hotel guests, also very nice!
Directly with the Hotrel is connected to a mall with a Macy's and the 'staples centre' is nearby and even walk reachable!
The 'Universal Studios Hollywood' are we simply landmarks took the metro!
The hotel has four stars, because it is on holidaycheck also another entry with only three stars hotel!
