The B&B The Desert Thistle is served from a very nice couple MASONS and Warner, run, the especially welcome guests from Germany and it as well as the one or the other extras for German guests: -) The house is beautiful, every room had its own bathroom and super comfy bed. There is also a pool and a delicious breakfast in the morning! Great is that not only one among many but in a family atmosphere. The host will not only good tips for your visit to the Zion but told you time tales of the live or America: -) ... Even if you don't want to visit the Zion is a place to really!!!!!!!!! read more

    Our room was with attention to detail and very lovingly and luxurious (jacuzzi bath: -) ) decorated! Our bed was extremely comfortable. There was a small refrigerator in the room. Flat screen TV and air conditioning. Everything was clean.

    You get a really tasty breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, crusty all kinds of cereal, and especially: fresh fruit, that was apparently a rarity in America (at least in the hotels/motels).

The friendly and very familiar hosts MASONS and Warner Edgel felt like you immediately felt comfortable. From the room to the breakfast with krossem bacon and scrambled eggs, from the swimming pool to to recommendations for walks and the stories, everything was of the best. We greatly enjoyed it and would recommend this place wholeheartedly. read more

We were looking for a base for 2 nights to visit to Zion National Park. The accommodations in Springdale out to be false as very expensive, so we decided the reviews for Rockville and chose b & desert Thistle. B&B is not a hotel but an alternative Übernachtungsart. leisure travelers visiting rent in your house mostly room. In addition there is an break-fast together with the other guests were offered. In the United States are these very attentive to guests well spoken and friendly. You soon contact and learns a lot about the country and its people. A decision that ... we do not regret it. The Desert Thistle is beautiful very clean house - 10 minutes away from Zion National Park. We were made very welcome by MASONS and Warner welcome, even in German. Warner worked 3 years for US Army in Germany and the family accompanied him. The rooms are all furnished with care, a large, very cozy lounge is only there for the guests. In the winter garden with views of the pool and mountains is breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit and a lot more-because you are well equipped. The hosts are very welcoming, travel advice for local, hiking trails around. We highly recommend this B&B, they are very happy to come back, MASONS is very happy about German guests to stay more to speak German. Thanks to MASONS and Warner it was a great way to start our USA holiday. read more
