Since 3 children 1,6,11 years traveling (3-10,02) we had a family room booked. This consists of 2 double rooms with a connecting door and is in the whole enormous. All used services were very good. For the food you should certainly consider, that one your vacation in Afrika spends and certainly not everything european can taste. The variety in any case left no wishes open (from 4 sorts of pizza at the dinner buffet over noodle bar, salad bar to sachertörtchen everything was there. Cleanliness in all very good, room service (thanks! At Achmet room 5102 u. ...5103) were exceptionally. At the check-in or check out everything was fast and satisfactory solution. Hi, we were for the first time here and were really happy the darling environment. Considering that we actually in the desert is. The whole bridges and so, really cool. The way to the water incredibly close. Waiter directly at the beach chair. Super All inclusive we are for example from the Turkey differently accustomed, alcohol only beer and wine, well, well. With so many german should the staff a little practice. We didn't care, we speak english. But all great, super nice. No party hotel but we wanted this time not. Just relaxation, it is this hotel perfect. Big ... hotel where one sometimes a little walk. But we found that just evenings at the great lighting really quaint. Gladly again, have also other hotels in El Gouna looked at. Capacity 1st sharaton Miramar. Free wi-fi in the bar and lobby, from where we are currently writing. read more

Basically in all areas absolute highest quality. I as a lone traveler have the RTL-program missed, since i'm in the evening often in the room spent. I will go back to the Sheraton travel. read more

We were there at the beginning of february 2013 in the hotel Sheraton. It is a very nice, on several lagoons located resort. The rooms are big, spacious and a big balcony. We had a great view on one of the lagoons. Also a mini bar was in the living room. However belongs to the alcoholic drinks in the all-inclusive in this hotel unfortunately only local beer, wine and sparkling wine. Other alcoholic beverages, and drinks to pay. In other countries (z. example Karibik) is in the all-inclusive package included everything, not only in this hotel. To recommend are however ... the freshly squeezed mangosäfte. The service and the service is very good. Special compliment to mr ehab a. in the front office area. It is for all large and small problems undelegated. It is very helpful, nice and spoke perfect german. Otherwise in this hotel almost only english spoken. The food is excellent. The oriental hotel is very tasty. The chef (a swiss ) put in so much effort and serves a deviated- selungsreiche cuisine. There is almost everything, except, of course, pork. Who is leaking for peace and quiet is right at home here. The entertainment is very decent. Except folklore evenings, here and there a little live music, this is there was nothing on in the evenings. We had a very relaxing vacation used. At the beach and at the pool you with food and drinks served. Free chairs on the beach are always available, no matter at what time. There is clean cushions and towels, even a wind protection. The all-inclusive with 2 weeks include 2 full body massage per person. That is very recommendable, as well as the sauna and turkish (appointment make). Excursions, we have done on foot to Marina (yachthaven ) about 15 minutes from the hotel. With the shuttle bus one arrives for 1 Euro (day ticket per person) to El Gouna downtown and you can, as we even with the motorboat to the hotel back. Weather we had 26-28 degrees, unfortunately it was too cold to swim in the sea. read more

We go since 1999 once a year in Sheraton Miramar, El Gouna. Hotel, comfort etc. Very good. It's also worth mentioning, that the staff mostly since many years - also in key positions-is constant and remains. On the guests' wishes, one individually and accommodating a. For football fans on the canal Dubai 2 -, where applicable, the management ask - national league matches live. We will always gladly again in this hotel travel. read more

    Very big, very clean, very nice! Safe, minibar, air conditioning and tv are available. The beverages in the minibar were all inclusive and every day refilled.

    There is 3 restaurants. A main restaurant, an oriental restaurant and an italian. All are great! The selection of dishes was not huge, but qualitatively very high-quality. Even the all inclusive wine is very good and from bottles serves. The food is very lean and still more than delicious, it simply different geüwrzt is. The restaurants were very clean and the staff always make an effort, it a right to make. Was the glass half empty, came directly the waiter and it filled in.

    We have rarely seen such a good and zuvorkommennden service. The staff at the hotel speak almost perfect english and sometimes also german. We once our room changed, since our neighbors very loud drive. Our complaint was immediately tackled and we have within 5 minutes another (even better) room. One at any time of day a smile and all, real all the staff were more than friendly. Also the room was cleaned thoroughly and left no wishes open.

    The hotel is so large and spread out, that you in the hotel walks different beaches are directly in front of the hotel located. In de city takes you either with the shuttle bus or the tuk-tuks, which by handzeichen ranwinken can. The journey takes about 5 minutes

Of the mini-bar to to eat on the beach... Great! The average age should between 40 and 50 located, El Gouna is not Hurghada... Accordingly no party, but relaxation on the highest level. read more

    We had a honeymoon suite... Large and comfortable. Everything one on vacation need and more, a flat screen tv, telephone, kettle and crockery and so on. About 40 square meter area and 6 metres height with a dome in the bedroom! The rest of the rooms are but also all really wonderful from, the location is, of course, subject to availability, there is no mini room with view of building site or street.

    Top! Hospitality is there lived... Starting at drivers of our shuttle bus to the service in the hotel. Who speaks english, with all locals to chat and get everything that you ask for.     Distance from our room to the beach... 30 meters!? ;-) Centre of El Gouna or marina with shops and so on. Around 10 minutes away on foot. Small tip for smokers: cigarettes go out from the hotel buy, difference around 3 to 4€ per box!

We were up yesterday in Sheraton el Gouna. The hotel is really gorgeous. Our room and the whole complex is very clean. The staff are polite and extremely accommodating. We were very definitely not for the last time there. Thumbs up. read more

The hotel has a very good impression and is ideal for a relaxed vacation at the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food of the buffet was all right, still recommendable are however the a la carte restaurants. The rooms are in nubischem style and very spacious, included balcony and sun loungers. About the cleaning and the daily cleaning of the rooms there is nothing to complain about. On the flat screen are as well german television programs for received (ARD, ZDF). A free availability from wi-fi in the room would certainly be desirable. The beds were ... however already relatively worn. The beach chairs, however, very comfortable and with the 5-star -category. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and even too many german. read more

Were already the 2. time there. Is always a short break worth. The complex is though not brand-new anymore but in good condition. The staff are friendly and the food really good. The only thing that bothered us is that the offshore island with plastic was dirty. The nearby riff is greatly reduced. Trips with the boat are great read more

International are the 5 stars not justified. Five star in for example Dubai and 5 stars in Egypt you can not compare. The has seen beter days the hotel has certainly behind but nevertheless the hotel is on the surface yet very nice to look at. Nestled in the artificial lagoon on small islands are the building constructed. Nice is that the building different amount and form in arab style and not as simple concrete blocks off. The buildings usually only as high as the palm trees apart from the entrance. The garden is beautifully laid out and meticulously maintained. ... However, here one to the other time the condition from the sidewalks (concrete) as lighting and so on but already to be desired. Things which are broken make the impression as they are not seen or the instandhalter just come after. But good, is the general cleanliness. No matter wether in the room or otherwise where in the hotel. Cleaning personnel is always irgnedwo present and in use. The types of people were during our travels well mixed of german, russian and arab guests. Little from other nations. The russian guests, which were there are not unpleasantly noticeable. The average age was very mixed. From childhood up to about 80-year old everything was represented. However the hotel was only about 50% full. read more

    Rooms are large, mattresses are ok. The furniture however, also the best times behind itself. It is nothing broken but worn and old. The bathroom is large, everything functional, always clean. But there is here the heyday past. Renovate and new furniture would much wet make. The tv had 2-3 german channels (according to the bulletin list should clearly be more) but picture very poor. It was on the satellite told us, if there are to be believed. We had in the hotel an upgrade to beachfront for 250 €taken what then again much compensated. Beach location overlooking the sea and the mangroveninsel i would recommend. We knew it, because we already times guests in the hotel were. In Germany the upgrade or the same reservation about 1000€ cost more.

    There are three different restaurants, the main building for breakfast and dinner each in buffet form, the oriental restaurant also in buffet form and depending on the evening a la carte, the italian restaurant by the pool a la carte. Of all, if you 2 weeks holiday is after 2 weeks the food sorry. No matter wether you in Dubai, Egypt or USA is. Also repeated the food each week, but no matter where you are in the Sheraton eats, it is simply good. In short if it not tasted the it tasted anywhere where. Offer, quality and vielfällitkeit leaves nothing to the imagination. Small tips were gladly taken and also show effect. Really great is, you both at the beach on the chairs as well as by the pool directly at the chairs served.     Complaints are the pool beach chairs and cushions. You'll get always fresh towels however the pool chairs very dirty and partly dirty.     The hotel itself lies directly at the beach. View of wasserlagune or sea can be seen from everywhere except in the area of the pools. Only swimming in the lagoon is not so great. You can hardly on the fortified celing rocks into the water let alone again. Probably the lagoon not for swimming thought in the new building. Very close with the tuk tuk 3 minutes away is the Marina or the downtown. The Marina has a lot of flair is very beautifully built and loads to the flanieren in. A little night life, shopping and restaurants are in Marina as in cavendish available. However not so big like in Hurghada. However, the people in El Gouna much friendly and not pushy like it Hurghada knows.

A beautiful, quiet holiday. A little too quiet! The area is large, well maintained, nice location and great to look at. The room was great with a great terrace. The food and the service were good. But much unfortunately not all-inclusive, as actually booked. Only egyptian wine and egyptian beer, coffee and soft drinks were all inclusive. Cocktails, etc. Had to be paid separately. The abendunterhalt was' available ', only a live dj there was free. The dj had a wide selection of music for everyone, but a good and suitable assembly he did not. Danced you a foxtrot it ... came next house music, then again egyptian music. Point 23 o'clock was then also already closed. All in all a great vacation. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. We were in block 2000 building. The condition was good. The cleanliness was okay. We had booked all inclusive. At this time was the guest structure rather older people. The garden and the area with these many lagoons was great.     We have never on a hotel written, that the food is not good. But we must do it. Nevertheless it buffet and the manager in the kitchen a swiss was. We stayed in our vacation never eaten so badly, like in this hotel. The choice for example with cheese was very poor. 3 item. The meat 4 varieties, every day the same, were so thickly cut, that you not at all tasted. The buffet in the evening had a good selection of cold items. With the warm buffet were the additions usually the same. Very much was very spicy, but unfortunately not flagged. For a 5 star hotel not at all appropriate. We have people, for several years in the same time-we were from 9a 20 december in this hotel - in this hotel there were and they said, that the food otherwise in previous years much better was. Also the selection is better. Because the hotel to a maximum of 20% was occupied, presumed, that was saved. Just returned, because currently Egypt indicated turmismus has difficulties, should such things didn't happen!

The hotel is very extensive, very nice laid out. It is fun by the complex to go. Our room, as well as the whole hotel was super clean. The food (half board ) delicious. read more

    Our room in the 8000. Area was very big. The furniture already somewhat ' angenagt ', the bed (king size) very comfortable with a nice big duvet. Big balcony with sun loungers (in every room!). It is great with the coffee/tea-making facility, so that you need coffee and tea could cook. Room and bathroom absolutely clean. Every day fresh towels.

    Leisure time offers were good. Aerobics and aqua gym in the hotel very recommendable, as both really with strength and stamina, especially but with very much commitment is made. Pool is heated. Water polo, beach volleyball, water sports (surfing and diving) are also offered. Was this time we didn't use it. Snorkelling at the nearby reef possible however not so colorful as further in the south. Kite-surfing is on the northern beaches possible. Highly recommend is the kite-surfing club buzzha beach - pleasant staff, large standing range, lots of space close to windward. There is no entertainment except a disc jockey at the bar and Bauchtanz 1 time the week offered.

    El Gouna of course, nothing to do with the real Egypt together, you feel but everywhere well and would be safe. Especially worth mentioning is the for Egypt very low-key way and friendliness of the businessmen. The access to the beaches, downtown and abu tig accessible via tok-tok and shuttle bus is great. All distances are in the winter easy on foot to figure it out. In the summer it is quickly too warm.
