Great value for money! Comfortable beds, clean room and bathroom, we had a 4 bett room on the 4. floor to the inner courtyard, that means without view however therefor very quiet. The staff are nice and willing to help and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and fresh - something there for every taste! We had the room directly online and with advance payment paid! The settlement and confirmation was easy and reliable! In camden there are a lot of pubs and restaurants in which one to the affordable price eat out can! Please note: from 6:00 p. m. ..., no kids and teens more in the restaurants with alcohol. The subway really is around the corner and an easy walk to all attractions of the city. A familientagesticket (2 adults one child) for the subway and bus costs 17, -pound. A taxi into town (for example to Madame Tussaud costs about 10, -pound) read more

A friend & I were for 4 nights hi Camden lock. The hotel is the 4 star in any case worthy, the hotel is in hardly surpassing location in the trendy Camden; extremely central but nevertheless pleasantly quiet in a side street located. Room and hotel very modern and comfortable, clean, friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was OK, selection could have been a bit bigger but there was the typical English breakfast plus bread/ rolls/ Croissants, cereals and so on;-) In short: absolutely satisfied been, would definitely again the hi Camden lock. read more

The four star hotel holiday Inn Camden lock is located in a side street to main street. The entrance can be found on the corner, which is accessible by a folding door. Introdution: the rooms correspond totally to the four stars-category and in London upper spaces assigned. very clean room we have; no complaint regarding hygiene, since I myself from the meticulous TV-Inspectors find distance, with a white glove on which the top cabinet file a speck of dust and then pounce as mentioned above are carpets moved. The furnishings you can see, and includes in my opinion a good hotel: a air conditioning is in each room. Available, which both cools, as well as heated, iron ironing board is inclusive in the room installed, which is very convenient, a flat-screen TV with a bed space appropriate size is also available, however only with British and American TV channels. The few are encrypted, the rooms only a so-called french balcony, in our we had a single roombed get, which was clean and otherwise top was great, a kettle including tea, coffeeand cracker repertoire was also available and made possible it had a bag, and after a rainy day a tea to cook, a separate desk with on the wall glass lamp and a (ART) leather armlosen was also very space saving and clever in the room integrated out, a safe also available, but I can't to use say, since we didn't used have, chest of drawers and a closet for the necessary Reservoir for the clothes sure, left and right next to the bed there were small Chest of drawers with land for storage, drawers, lighting and light switch, to control the whole room lighting. A small blazing mini bar was filled also available, unfortunately for further cooling of the other Products this was just a little space. On it aligned, the guests use of the mini bar. the bath: the bath describes the following sentence: small but fine. The facilities. In the bathroom we have of the whole hand side large sink mirror, a toilet and a bathtub with shower( curtain on the bathtub) found as soon as the door was open was the bathroom, it is only a few centimeters distance to toilet. This is also the only point of criticism and the half star deduction. The atmosphere in the bath was very friendly and bright, which, in conjunction with the size of the bath a very comfortable impression left. It was clean both on the first day, as well as at the end, when we left. Positive was the only 'German' Plug in the bathroom, as it was our adapter forget and some electronic devices recharge had, were we dependent on an outlet. We then really found in the bathroom.

  • Gastronomy
    6.0

One point, I can deal quickly. In our reservation we only breakfast had. Also offered lunch and dinner, as far as I can recall. The prices were reasonable, where I can go into much detail here as number. the breakfast was divided into two parts. Once the typical English breakfast with bacon, scrambled egg, Sausages, beans and so on and a continental breakfast, which rolls, Croissants, cereals, cheese, sausage and so on included. What is of course matter of taste. The optics, food and hygiene was all great. The English breakfast this is not for everyone, but as already said, tastes are different and you can by anyone review to impose his taste.

  • Service
    6.0

What we claim is taken? Front desk, waiting staff in the breakfast room, partly cleaning Forces the staff at the front desk were very friendly and at our arrival with a subway Plan and a discount card for the typical London ' attractions' looked after. Apart from that it was front desk very hard-working all of our questions to answer in the English language, of course, whether it was about the best exchange rate, or some local knowledge was, one could everything reliable experienced. the waiting staff in the breakfast room was once for the service of coffee tea and coffee tables responsible, for clearing up the tables and the exchange the breakfast buffet. Everything worked smooth, in background and seemed to be an orderly and structured drain to have. The cleaning staff we hardly perceived, as we were traveling at this time. The only thing the indication clean rooms. The beds were cleaned well, the towels in the bathtub exchanged and the surfaces rückstandslos cleaned. Nothing to moan about!

  • Sport & Entertainment

Since it is a city, there is no entertainment. It is not a club vacation with entertainment, that's why you can have a review refrain. Completely different it is the sports, in the hotel has a private gym found. I really informed was, this was also free use available. Unfortunately, we have this because of Did not get a chance to use. I'll give it full blind star number and draw your attention specifically to the other reviews of the hotel, the gym have been reviewed.

The hotel is located in Camden, a Northern part of London. About four miles, as previously mentioned in the description of the hotel from the town center (Oxford street) and about five minutes walk away from metro stop Camden town. Furthermore very, very lots of buses by Camden, so that the neighborhood also well developed. With the subway Line Northern line (Camden town) has a line, the fork to the stop Euston (South) very many subway Stops starts. For we have a weekly December 2011 27.5 GBP + 5 GBP deposit paid. What for seven days is OK and if you through area 1 and area 2 room to move around, both with the metro, as well as with the buses and the DLR (Docklands light railway). the hotel is located in the town road, James, this is a side street to main street and has the advantage, the lively main street to hide. The main street is a major attraction to visitors. There you will find a lot of entertainment possibilities. Besides several fast foods restaurants, you will find a traditional restaurants, many markets (Camden market) and lots of small shops, souvenirs on the coffee to pubs have everything. It is a part, which was a young audience attracts. Accordingly it is colorful, modernly and partly loud at night. In the room on one evening noise to be heard. The other Reviews, which I can complain about the volume partly confirm. However I would ask you to note, that it is not exaggerated and I did not feel disturbed. Nearby there is a large supermarket (Morrisons), which I also can recommend, especially since you can stock up for the day. Apart from that located approximately one kilometer away from the London zoo, but we didn't go there. For the area I can deduct a star, because the volume eveningsnight almost give full marks.

Holiday inn Camden lock is located in immediate close to the famous Camden market and therefore invites to a shopping tour, of course. At the same time, the hotel has a very good connection to the public transport. The room room was huge, had a large bathroom and a private rooftop terrace with views of Camden market and on a pretty canal. Everything in the room was very clean. The staff at the check-in was also very friendly and helpful. The only drawback: as usual for London, had the room for German standards a stately price. read more

In five minutes walk from the underground station Camden Town. From there a great transport links to London City. Buses also run in all directions. The district of ' Camden is, in my opinion, even one of the best for young people! Here there was everything, what the heart could desire, in other words: pubs, cocktail bars, dancing, restaurants of all kinds (Thai, Italian, Spanish, etc.). The hotel is very well maintained, large room, large bathroom. Flatscreen tv was unfortunately only with English channels. Even an ironing board in the room. The breakfast buffet was rather small. It was ... a typical British breakfast with sausage, hash browns, scrambled eggs, fried mushrooms etc. was on two types of sausage. two types of cheese and babybel. Cereal, fruit and yogurt. In addition there were rolls, toast, croissants, and chocolate croissants. For drinks there was more selection (strong) coffee, tea, apple juice, grapefruit juice, orange juice and water. And a small tip from us: The noodle bar (Waga Mom) across the street from the hotel has inflated prices to quality! read more

A great 4 star hotel of the Holiday Inn group. The room was a little on the small side but for London standards in absolute best condition and very clean. Guest structure quiet and not bad behavior, very pleasant. read more

Absolutely sufficient for two people but for travel with a child I would recommend a larger room. Very clean, there were no complaints!

We had booked bed & breakfast. This was sufficient, nothing special, the staff was not so friendly and nice as the receptionists.

  • Service

Great and nice receptionists. The breakfast staff could be somewhat nicer :-) At the reception, they gave great tips which were also easy for "new Londoners" to follow. Carry on like that!

The location was absolutely amazing. Still location on a side road, and not even 2 minutes walk from the lively stores, bars, cafes and much more. The subway ride was without any problems, only a 3-5 minute walk away.

Located centrally but relatively quiet on a side street between the Regents Park and the trendy Camden located. Friendly interior with all that the towns or business needs. At our travel time there were mainly Brits as guests. We had booked bed/breakfast. More meals can'(surcharge) in the most sought after restaurant on-site dining is possible. However in the area is full of restaurants of all nationalities. Those wishing to stay in the hotel (as the children maybe sleep), has the opportunity to have a drink at the lobby bar (reasonable prices for London). Next to the bar is located in ... the other an internet corner with two terminals. read more

For the English the rooms are rather large, for our standards were quite normal, so don't expect a palace. But big enough for the supposed main purpose of our stay. Also with free in-room safes, coffee and tea maker, TV, shower/WC. caveat: There is no toilet brush available.

  • Gastronomy
    5.0

A very fine - continental oriented - Breakfast, even with poppy seeds and Sesambrötchen (never seen in the UK). The atmosphere in the breakfast room is a bit basic but that's okay. The service staff were very friendly and helpful.

  • Service

Typical English, obviously very polite and friendly. Front desk is also helpful with tours, etc. Contrary to the description of the hotel was however you depend on English, German, nothing works. But that is for England travellers yes no mattresses.

There is a fitness room, which we didn't use.

From the airport by train / underground about an hour, supposedly similarly by taxi. At the London traffic takes this but probably a bit longer (on Heathrow). Distance to the "City" good 2,5 km The sophisticated quarter Camden in contrast directly in front of the door, as well as numerous shops, shops and RESTORATIONS. Two subway stations are in less than 1 km away from the hotel.

The hotel is a modern 5 -storey property on a side street. started from the desk to the general toilets up to the room is a very clean hotel, preferably also for London. Breakfast is either separately bookable or at the rate paid at time of booking. We didn't have breakfast, so I can not comment further. The guests were very international, but still outweigh English speaking guests. read more

Rooms are medium-sized, but fairly large for London. We had a room with 2 beds. .With 4 persons per room, are closely. The bathroom is also just enough for 2 people. We had a room to the tiny patio. No views but wonderfully quiet. In our room (420 ) in the morning in the bathroom smelled terrible. Probably the exhaust working and at the same time the check Valve not. Only with air conditioner it was reasonably bearable. We had such a little like as if the problem would be ... The air conditioned and finally made your name credit (they drove instead conditoning- depending on), because you could really cool air in the room.

Small hotel bar which is open until about midnight. There was coffee, beer and cocktails to very good prices.

Here, I cannot give top marks. Our room had a smell problem 8im bathroom S. U. ). The first morning so we know and immediately got just gonna next to a (sincere attempts) apology promised a new room. If we wanted, we could be given rearranging even the thing. The staff spoke only English, but we had no problem at all. The room cleaning was completely all right, nothing to complain about, everything from the coffee to the shower was refilled. Even soap had been left again, so you do not have to waste soap.

There is a small fitness center, which we didn't use. However, the hotel is a short by from the hotel already a wonderful round to start running. Along the canal in the Regents Park ... Really top!

The hotel is in a street that runs off the Chalk Farm Rd. And attached with the back on the canal, on the right-hand side the Camden Market starts. Across the street and right next to the ckfront are already the first pubs and clubs, a Starbucks and a bridge over the canal, so you the Camden Market changed within 1 minute walk. The subway/stadium "Camden Town" (Northern Line) is about a 2 minute walk. At the Chalk Farm Road toward Morningten Cresent there were numerous supermarkets, fast food shops and other shops. On this road, also in almost all Byways are many pubs and restaurants. Along the canal leads to an old Treidelpfad, the a within about 10 minutes to walk to the Regents Park, to Primrose Hill or the zoo,. The only downside is the fact that this hotel is about the a metro line. Although were also many bus routes available, the the Chalk Farm Rd. , the Camden High Street and the other large walk along streets, but in the dense London traffic is takes longer. So when the underground line closed (please inform yourself), will be more difficult with the distance of the hotel. These problems are the same including Saturdays and Sundays, if the Camden Market a local favorite. Watch out for its at the station you can only get off Camden Town, did not get on. But then a bit and Mornigten Cresent or Chalk Farm Rd. Use.

spent a wonderful few days in London, crowned by the hotel. Quiet and good nights; wide continental breakfast and central location for us were very helpful. The location in Camden look on the market was in addition a joy. For junk and marktstreuner the Dream area. We would definitely recommend this one. Good possibilities for strolling and to eat at many small stands and stalls. again at any time! small tip-not by bus from Stansted-only by train! It is expensive, but the train is at least. The bus hit traffic and the plane is way read more
