Holla, we were 2 weeks in the Playa Pesquero and recovered well. The staff are always in a good mood, very friendly and helpful. The rooms clean and a good size, but no more the newest. Our room haus 45 was centrally located. The complex is huge. Has 2200 beds. It was not fully booked. At the front desk they didn't speak any german. Most agree with english or spanish. The excursions are well organized, german, but not cheap. Who to Havanna wants, should in west book. Because of holguin to Havanna costs of the trip 300 cuc plus airport ... tax per person. The beach is wonderful and you need definitely not bathing shoe. Cliff ledges are only partially available. We only have in buffet restaurant eaten. It was always tasty. Salad and fish always freshly prepared. The outside area very well-kept. In Cuba poverty is very bad. One should with full suitcase and empty suitcase to fly home. They can still not even a pen afford. We have all given away. Toiletries were in Santiago de Cuba begged. Cubans are on the tourism. Without us they were even worse. We've never had such a massive room as in this hotel.
Cleanliness is of big importance here. We had all inclusive and were very good. In january you have very many canadians exp. There were only very few german guests in the hotel.
There the hotel very good, you can really feel very comfortable and feel secure. (no annoying salesmen at the beach)
Internet is offered, is however with a 56k modem very slow.
The hotel complex is the number of rooms very big, but falls not at all on, because they are spacious with many gardens is.
Television is ... only Deutsche Welle in german. read more

Normally no bad hotel, but many details spoil the holiday happiness. Except for 2 problem everything was great: the air conditioning in the first room did not work, and it was quite costly, a different room -the first escape was occupied, in 2. went the air conditioning also not, in the 3. it was ok. Take insect repellent-on Cuba there are currently none, and if the bugs in the room, it was very unpleasant (i had 30 bites).
Huge selection of food, freshly prepared, specialty restaurants are recommendable. Everything was clean and staff friendly. Beach and grounds very spacious, no noise. read more

It was a wonderful vacation. Great facilities. The all-inclusive offer was huge at the eating and drinking was something there for everyone constantly changing so the food it was not over. The hotel was just great. The complex very well-kept, clearly there is here and there times a few schönheitsmakel, however, you should also consider as many years this huge area on the embossment and still so well in shot. When we Playa Pesquero vacation spend had, was the ' storm Sandy' just about Cuba over swirled. As a result, there were some damages on the complex developed. An excellent hotel, staff and service top! Were in october there, all very accommodating and very friendly! Great food and the cocktails! Best hotel in Cuba! We were from 21-10-2012 to 04-11-2012 in the hotel and sandy ( hurricane) forward. Within a week the hotel was again produced. Two days we had due to the hurricane no water, nevertheless has everything great works. Despite hurricane was this vacation for us pure relaxation. Food and drinks, cleanliness of the room and facilities were great. In between we were forced to the room to change, everything without any problems. Through the change even a better room without an extra charge received. The staff's hospitality i'have never experienced something like that.
I can really recommend this hotel. Especially even ... for children very suitable. read more

We have a very nice time in Cuba excellent, with some great tours ( catamaran, snorkeling, Jeep Safari, sightseeing holguin and Royal Brayka Bay).
The Hotel Playa Pesquero is a recommendation value, with minimal downsides:
The beach with possibility to go snorkeling ( left beach section) was simply super, always a shady spot to find, fine-grained coral sand, always clean. While snorkeling in the lying off small reef we cookies and bread to Anködern forward and then a wonderful variety from small to middle Species to see.
Both the buffet-, as well as theme restaurants were all super delicious and ... with sufficient variety, with the focus more on fish and seafood was placed, but we liked.
A great thing is the coffee-bar in the lobby, where it always great coffee, espresso and Cappuccino at nearly every time of day and night there.
All employees made in any case a helpful and friendly impression and were not only by tips to service is required, if one is nothing has been made.
The general cleanliness was always reasonable, to point out also the great Maintenance of the outdoor areas and garden.
One small downside for us was the Mojito-supply!
At the beach there are no possibility a Mojito to get, in addition one must one short walk to to Mojito-bar by the pool recline. Also in the lobby-bar there is generally no Mojito, there is at scheduled times only in the bar, which in the nearby Event room. For us, the term Cuba and Mojito simply together, so we were a bit disappointed.
Apart from that but there is in the lobby-bar all within conceivable alcoholic and anti-alcoholic drinks and spirits, however is just evenings the bar was a bit overburdened because of the strong rush at 'thirsty' guests, which then, if necessary, a little waiting time means. The US however not disturbed, one has time on vacation and the time furthermore through the evening music events and through the smoke a beautiful cuban cigar a bit pass, which is to evenings 9:00 P. M. directly in the same shop in excellent quality and good prices to buy are.
A 2. thing, the in our opinion not so optimal resolved is, is for us a bit missing' Cuba- feeling' in the selection of the evening music and also events, more on international entertainment oriented. Makes the Cuban music and also possibilities to the Salsa-Dancing too short.
In short: great hotel with great food and good facilities, with tiny downsides. Nevertheless to us a recommendation worth. read more

The hotel is apparently never fully booked, which in this case many English accommodating, by the tropical storm causes some flight cancellation had and without any problems in the hotel could stay. Very large, extensive all inclusive-hotel, what you when booking a 900 -room-hotels white. All bungalows with ground floor and 1st floor the hotel is very well-kept and with much attention to detail laid out. What we thought very annoying felt was, that the theater directly at the lobby adjoined. The lobby and lobby bar is, for the size of the hotel, anyway too small and the speaker sounds of the shows.
There were in the August/September many canadians, Italian, English, spanish, Russian, and some German there. Age structure mixed-rather younger. We really enjoyed it, that at the beach also many ... locals were, with which one well to contact got. read more

Complex all inclusive complex. Massive room with balcony in small buildings, each with 8 units over 2 floors. Very long distances to the restaurants and to the beach. 2 buffet-style restaurant where you can obtain including Frontcocking with different themes. Really beautiful and very large hotel, which almost everything has to offer. There are 5 à la carte restaurant the one in each case 1 time during your stay can use.
Beautiful beach and wonderful sea. What is not so good at the beach is, are the loungers. They are at the beach from plastic without cushions. After a time, it was too hard. Stayed in the pool area the loungers really good.
We had a big room with a seating area. Had a special room, because our honeymoon spent in the hotel had. Furthermore, there was a FL. Rum ..., flowers for my wife and a breakfast in the room. The pool is huge and very nice, with a swim-up bar. Food was almost always good in the buffet-style restaurant, it was not so much variety but always had very much to choose from.
What we didn't like was the fruit in the hotel, it was always a bit immature or didn't.
Altogether we found the hotel super and definitely recommendable. However we would the next time a little more than in June again, as we almost every day Rains had and the last 5 days it was a bit cloudy. But we were warned, because in June the rainy season commences. The rain itself but didn't bother us, since there almost always evenings or rained at night. Before that, it was always, except for the 5 days, sunny.
You should on a lot footpath adjust, because the hotel really large. You can but also with the shuttle bus service ride, if you want. read more

Nice vacation in a really great hotel. Staff all very friendly, great food and great beach. Complex is very extensive and very beautifully designed. Staff were in absolutely no way tip oriented. Rooms were large and always clean. Mini bar was filled up every day. Drinks there were but also 24 hours at the bar. Very recommendable is the beer garden great snacks. If someone really 5 stars, it is wrong here, this is Cuba. Definitely recommendable are excursions, for at least a little Cuba feeling to get. The best would be a round trip with rental car as our Cuba Oriente, you just need a little courage to do it, but it is unforgettable.
In the remaining who only all inclusive wants is better elsewhere and above all cheaper. Cuba is not a billigurlaubsland such. read more
