We booked with our children over Big Extra an offer with very high discounted, so that the value for money for us was. Who peace (for sheep) may, comes here fully at its expense. On the other hand, is this hotel a good starting point for excursions in the area. We found the hotel as very busy, which is in the parking lot and in the dining hall or on the only essensschlange noticeable. But if you at the beginning of the meal times a table occupied, has a place, no or a short queue and still the full choice ... of meals. Differently, than from the hotelier to reply, was the food at least during our travel time not constantly refilled. When i for breakfast the filled immediateley so salami asked, i received the answer, that only the other sausage the plate finish to be, before a new whole plate is offered. There should also be possible, on demand the snack offer (rippchen/schweinebraten) mustard available -just in Bayern! Please do not misunderstand, the staff was very nice but these things we did not understand at all. read more

We have often already had a holiday in the bavarian forest and the hotel margeritenhof was by far the best. My husband and i even in the food area and therefore a very critical view. We understand the negative reviews. The food was varied, freshly prepared and really delicious. Also the restaurant, as well as the rooms were clean. The staff was always friendly. It is a pity that it so many unhappy people there. Which you can probably never what. We have again for whitsun booked. read more

Value for money is great. Food was every day good and tasty. The restaurant staff is in spite of the large crowd always nice and polite and always immediately to clean tables taken care of.
The complex itself has gotten a bit old, it was our room and also the other areas clean. What is most important.
A bit too small i think the sauna and the swimming pool. During our stay there were very many children in the ... house the the swimming pool evening besieged.
The front desk is only partially occupied, which however not a problem represents, be sure to turn to the restaurant staff. Otherwise was the complete staff always friendly and helpful, a small note for a change it was as fast as possible, implemented and taken care of.
This hotel is recommendable. We'll be gladly again. read more

I was already for the 3. time to this hotel and it there became from male to male bad. For the first time two years ago it seemed not as run-down before. The 2 time it was already bad, but the price-performance ratio was it. The room what is this time had was old, dirty and worn. It smelled and the windows was already mold. Next door was the rooms renovated and i thought, that they other rooms probably renovated. Hahaha. The 3 time was the state of the rooms miserable. The whole hotel is so ageing. A shame. Is ... a beautiful most generic but the hotel never again. I recommend no further. read more

The hotel is located between central and oberried, directly at the end a cul-de-sac, surrounded by woods and meadows.
It has many individual areas, but all connected with one another are.
All the guests booked all-inclusive packages. While we were there (easter week ) the hotel was very busy. Many families, grandparents with enkelkindern, couples... Children will find fast connection. read more

Front desk poor handling vacations. On the day of arrival one was due to a water damage at another hotel (40 kilometer) pointed out. This went unfortunately in vietchau also next door (booked one child 2 adults),get a room with 1 double bed. Suddenly there was a room in the hotel margeritenhof. So 40 kilometer back. Unfortunately this was a smoking room (although smoke prohibited in the hotel). We remained but in the room and treated the area using deodorant spray. read more

For this price-performance -proportion you can be satisfied. Even if other expect more, you must also more pay. We and table neighbors were completely contented and would on occasion come back.
All whiners i recommend time to reflect, whether at home the bedroom vacuumed daily? The daily alternating order of courses felt satisfied and also here should be everyone his finger as it at home is.
Drinks ad nauseam and 3 hours, from 18:00 until 21:00 o'clock beer and wine so much everyone wants.

It was our 2. short stay in the hotel and we would gladly come again. It is reasonable value for money in any case. We stayed for 3 nights all inclusive 99 Euro paid.

For wellness vacation not recommendable there the sauna very small and dingy is, indoor pool too cold. Massages were ok.
For a hiking vacation or family vacation to this price(3 nights all inclusive 89 €) good.
Breakfast buffet - sausage, cheese, eggs, jams, honey, 3 div yogurts, different types of bread, rolls. A lunchtime schmachhaftes court (chili con carne, teen, meat, etc.) Soft drinks free, coffee, cookies, billigkuchen and evenings soup, salad buffet and minutes 2 main courses, dessert and evenings wine and beer. We had no restriction and we are never really done. Staff were friendly. As mentioned ..., if you're looking for a wellness temple, is in the wrong place here. Flair of the 80. years. Despite small sauna, went the guests arranged.
Towels were changed only every two days.

We were as a family with a child in this hotel. Our room was good and everything was clean. The 'wellness offer' well. The pool, the sauna and so on are too small for the number of guests. The food is functional and for the price you can't other expect. It's not bad, however also not for relaxing, there the staff very hectic the tables for the new guests aggressively wiping down earlier, we found that very annoying. It is very like a cafeteria.
Nevertheless, we would go to this hotel again, there it is reasonable value for money. Apart ... from that simply more pay, you can also which better expect. read more
