Nice breakfast pension in the north of Düsseldorf

The Hotel Villa Falkenberg is located in the north of Düsseldorf on a main road. It is a converted mansion with large and well-kept garden, close to the fair and fashion city. The tram 13 goes directly to the center. Travel time about 20 minutes.
The name hotel is rather confusing, is a Hotel Garni or breakfast pension. A restaurantsbetrieb does not exist. The reception the lady of the hotel was friendly, almost informal. First a so-called suite, which was, however, as better garret turned out. Kindly we were checked in at a notrmales double room number 25 move, which ... was rather small. The furnishing is modern and new, the beds comfortable with crisp white bed sheets mistake. Unfortunately missing a desk. To remedy a folding table brought. The internet worked. The rooms are badly soundproofed.
The breakfast was in the salon to the garden served. This was too small when fully booked. The breakfast selection was good with quality products provided. The lady served hardly came after all the guests to serve.
For tourists on a one visits this is a nice hotel with large garden, however for business trips it is less suitable. There are drawbacks for the zimmerauslegung without work desk and chair, insufficient parking spaces and the missing restaurantsbetrieb. read more

A well run guest house in kaiserswerth is not easy to find; with villa Falkenberg we have several times really lucky. Not only the location (central to B8, however to the rear very quiet for Rhine location), but also the lovely area and the kind Administration of the house a visit recommendable nonetheless. The rooms are very clean and bright (white). The breakfast is a delight! read more

The hotel is suitable for short stays. Definitely not a single room. These rooms are the size of a disaster. I almost felt claustrophobic. The bathroom was a disgrace. I could just sit on the toilet. The knee berürten the wall. The wireless internet did not work. The walls in this hotel are paper thin. I had to sleep with ear plugs. The breakfast was OK. Fresh scrambled eggs with bacon. The rolls. read more

We didn't use the suite, the rooms are very large and clean. For example the towels not changed every day, this needs to be pointed out. The rooms and the whole hotel was very nicely designed, however, the design should not be at the expense of comfort. The continuous marble is very cold in the winter and without 'slipper' to go. In the bathroom hooks would be desirable, in order to hang the towels. Although obviously much money was put into the reform, it is annoying, it is nevertheless the shower is dripping.
General would be a desirable energy (Central ... switching off the light, the heating was no night set off)
Despite this we would stay there again and have no hesitation in recommending the hotel read more
