We stayed during our round trip two nights in this hotel spent. Luckily we had a mosquito net. Early was on a scorpion. Breakfast one had from a menu select. Recommendable nonetheless is the hot cocoa. The hotel is very isolated. Without a car you can't undertake. From the restaurant you can snowcaps watch. Other animals we haven't seen. Nearby there is a canopy station. The dinner was OK. At night it is very cool. read more

Stayed as part of our round trip only 1 night in this lodge. The hotel consists of several shallow Holzhn. The rooms are also inside with wood vertafelt and functional, have a safe and large and bright bathroom. Our room had a large king-size bed and a normal bed. Everything was clean. The food you had to in the hotel a, the town of Santa Elena on foot but a bit far and the road is not lit. In the hotel however, you can also comfortably to eat. The breakfast is almost like everywhere in Costa Rica the selection was ... rather visible. Coffee, juice, toast, jams, muesli and scrambled egg. Only for an overnight stay is this hotel suitable. If you want to stay longer should better directly in the village of Santa Elena a hotel take. The selection of hotels is large and there is also a lot of pubs there read more

The hotel is located on a hill in the mountains of Monte Verde. To the town of Santa Elena is five minutes by car and NP 20 minutes to Monte Verde. The hotel consists of several small houses. The rooms are functional equipped, a safe and a large bathroom. The bed made of wood in our room for every small movement creaky and the mattress has already had the best years behind it. The breakfast was served in buffet style. You could choose between three different types. We opted for the continental breakfast and it consisted of fruit, cereal, scrambled ... eggs with cafe. Once we had ordered in addition bacon for breakfast. There is a strip of bacon extra charge six $required! The dinner was well arranged but tasty and for the quantity of the food was too expensive. You can better in Santa Elena eat. read more

On a horrid gravel road, at least 30 km steep Up leads, one could reach the town of Santa Elena. This street is Really racking, the many potholes and sharpened rock A real challenge for each tyre represents. Santa Elena Arrived, we were totally surprised, such a busy Site with many shops, restaurants, hotels and lots of traffic To find. In the tourism information we procured ourselves only times a plan In/out privileges and drove then a few minutes to a very steep Turning, the cloud forest lodge highly. Went only attempt and Then the first course. The lodge is ... located in very waldreichem area and features Some kilometers hiking trails in private foggy Forrest. We are approximately 2 Hours beautiful circular route gone. The lodge also gives canopy Tours and various excursions to various attractions. A Corresponding note you get when checking in distributed. The Rooms are in row bungalows in several blocks accommodated. The Decor is rather simple and without telephone, tv and other Luxury. But everything is clean, the room is spacious and well maintained and Very quiet directly on a forest location. The lodge is part a restaurant with Large floor-to-ceiling windows; from there one has a very nice view over The forests. Then we took our dinner a. Chicken Escalopes Or fish with vegetables and rice. Was all right, although a bit more expensive, As the restaurants santa Elena. For breakfast it was a dish from a map select. For example Omelet or toast with jams and so on I found the nothing special Spacious and we had to us yoghurt and fruit in addition order and With 3a 4 Dollar pay. This belongs to for me with a good Breakfast just and therefore there are a downside. Apart from that you can bring this to a good value for money Pleasant stay. read more

Very American-themed lodge. In the restaurant unlovely mass processing. Long wait at the check-out. Our bungalow was the last one before the forest-normally fine-but it was behind the hotel but some major Erdlöcher with spiders. At the door were a lot of bugs, (not just a few, but tons) that the door would not open, without the majority in the room, in the evening was a scorpion at the bedroom door. We are clearly in CR, but somehow I had stuff all door slots at night with toilet paper, the bed from the wall to push me to feel comfortable ..., as it is in the mountains there was no mosquito nets. I think, our bungalow was probably the least rented at the edge of the area. Actually we liked that-close to nature, but here the Critters in the majority. At night it was very cold. The bathroom was very new and very inviting. The trails around the lodge are very nicely arranged, but we didn't see any animals. Probably they do not want to tourist waterslide-directly in the lodge-premises canopy is offered. We would not visit this lodge. read more

Transportation to and from the hotel is very well located. The restaurant has a great view of the foggy. The lodge is in a remote location. The place had to walk about 1 hour. the rooms are large and clean. The bathroom has shower and toilet and is clean. The whole decor is made of wood. The food was good. read more
