For a city break more than enough.
The rooms are very small, but clean.
The staff was helpful and friendly.
Circa 5-8 minutes away from the metro station Marina.
A small supermarket is approximately 5 minutes away.
In the complex there is a kind of kantinenrestaurant, where you can have breakfast. (costs extra) read more

We had a double room booked, but got comfortable a single room: the bed was 1.35 meters wide and there were only a blanket, as well as a towel. Also after multiple complaints gave there solution. The room and bathroom were unbelievably tiny, especially you could only from one side to bed rise.
The cleaning of the rooms respectively linen had additionally cost. Even when the toilet paper ran out, we were greeted by the cleaning lady pointed out, the other roles cost money.
The in the room price included breakfast consisted of 3 (!) Components, the coffee, Croissant ..., glass juice, submarine small rolls or cereal could choose from. Everything else would have extra cost.
The building is located directly next to a large mortuary. read more

Melon coffee is enough for breakfast ( kipferl and coffee €2) we ate out
Room was to our surprise really big and the bathroom enough.
Pool at the roof is good for a few laps but always only one person
Is deseamed only against arrangement and against an extra charge.
Towels not changed. Just basic at the start -except on request against an extra charge.
Would book it again any time the location is great centrally located and the subway is right nearby and 3 stops away is you to the bus station!
All in all very recommendable if one ... functionality wishes for a reasonable price! €30 per person without breakfast read more

Massive complex with several buildings, each building has a small pool on the roof. The frontdesk employees were all very friendly and gave in any case very hifreiche tips. Melon cafe on the ground floor was very convenient for breakfast ( as not included in the price) and had good price. Guests mixed, despite many young people we heard in the room no noise. To the beach around 12 minutes away on foot. Umbrella and two loungers costs at the beach 17,00 Euro. read more

Not a lot of bags, because luggage and people go to in the room hardly out. Bathroom was also very tiny. Rather a student hotel. Pool on the roof is cool, but also rather small, breakfast do it yourself. read more

I had a whole flat (10 rooms) for a group of 16 persons booked and paid for. As the group locally arrived, the flat not available but the group on 9 rooms over 2 floors divided-because it allegedly a technical problem gave. The group it was important, a private flat with its own kitchen and private lounge to book, only therefore they were prepared, 10 rooms to pay. The amount in advance of the credit card. Melon district refuses now, the too much amount paid back to reimburse. Something dubious I have never experienced. Only happened a mistake and they ... hold the Treaty not, then do you want the resultant overpayment not back reimburse. Never again Melon district-I would recommend it with the best will not recommend. Furthermore, that the rooms way too small are. read more

Also the 2. Once again satisfied! This time we had a studio with a kitchen in the room, was therefore the room spacious as a normal double room. It was very practically kitchen in the area to have, but the kitchen in the hallway was completely sufficient, if then I would the studio really only because of the size of the room book again. Otherwise in the kitche no oven, but only a microwave and a stove. You could nevertheless with the room key in the communal kitchen and could, if necessary, the oven use.
Apart from that the studio ... a lot of space for its things to store, a shame but, that despite table and a armchair and a chair not lots of space the food was. Otherwise you have to remember, that the room not cleaned (except you book it extra to), for larger dirt but there is a broom in the closet.
In the hotel you can with a cell phone or laptop free internet or at the front desk at one of the 2 computers. All are totally nice and friendly & there is now below the meloncafe, in which you can have breakfast or afternoon drink a coffee can.
Just round the corner is a metro& tram station and is very easy to get to the Rambla.
I the hotel can still recommend book the next sometimes in any case again! read more

The hotel offers a everything you for a city break want. For young people appropriate, as the halls very badly soundproofed are. A little inconvenient if you are next to the kitchen a room has. A breathtaking view of the pools on the roofs the 3 hotel towers.
3 minutes on foot to the railway station Marina.
Restaurant directly next to the hotel ( belongs inoffiziellzum hotel), where you can for 5 Euro breakfast read more

Melon District Marina is a simple, clean and cheap accommodation, in particular, on young people oriented. However see also guests other Alterstrukturen and I in good hands felt. There was also not a problem with noise etc.
The location of the hotel is for a city break very good, 5 minutes footpath the metro station Marina or bogatell, vone which you directly to the placa Catalunya in 3 stations drives. In the old town ( gothic quarter), you can get in 20 minutes on foot walk; also to Sagard familia.
The complex consists of 4 buildings; all have a small ... but very nice facilities with a pool, a few chairs and a great view on Barcelona. We stayed at the building A used; this is the highest Gebädude, so that you can see from this the best view.
As already repeatedly described, the double room very small; what we previously knew and didn't bother us, since one is with a city journey only for sleeping in the hotel is.
On every floor there is a common room with a kitchen; in the fridge has every room your own thread. In the cafeteria downstairs can be simple food; a breakfast costs about 4 to 7 euros.
In the side street is the nice Kneipenrestaurant Sonora, which tapas, burgers, pasta but also meat dishes. The we can recommend!
Everything is very simple decor. Who comfort needed, should be a other and significantly more expensive hotel choose. We would visit again. read more

Melon district is a mixture of Dorm and hotel. We have during our stay actually only guests under 30 met.
the complex is relatively large and consists of several buildings, is however very offering a clear view. the whole complex is new, very modern and stylisch furnished.
safety is largely written: access to the complex itself and to any individual building is only with the room card possible, additional is available on main entrance Securitystaff.

The hotel is situated in a very central location and is just two minutes walk from the nearest metro station Marina" away.
The rooms are quite small, but perfectly adequate for a short break and clean. We felt very comfortable.
On each floor there is a communal kitchen with all the appliances, you need to cook. In addition to a stove, an oven and a microwave is available. Each room has a private compartment in the fridge and the possibility to keep in your freezer.
The highlight of this hotel is the fantastic view over Barcelona from the roof, which ... is equipped with a swimming pool and sun.
Our overall conclusion:
The perfect hotel for a city break, especially if you don't spend a lot of money for the hotel and it amenities. There is more money for exploring the city." read more

Just a great place to stay (a complex of circa 6-7 buildings): ) Great location (3-5 minute walk to metro station Marina), top modern, good service (different languages), nice rooms (but quite small) with air conditioning and flat screen TV and private bathroom, nice pool terrace on each building, security by security and maps to check-in, 24 -hour front desk, international guests between 18 and 30 years, clean and tidy, elevators. I loved it and have no negatives to give. As I said, the rooms (and bathroom) smallish, for a few days but perfectly adequate. And if this were in ... the communal cooking facilities (one per floor) sometimes not kept, it is mostly on the guests, the kitchens and not use the service staff. Tip: bring your own dishtowel; ) read more

If you're looking for a good deal on a decent room was exactly right here. The hostel consisted of several houses with individual entrances. The main entrance with its hubs (through the chip card open), and in the evening a security man took his whistle into his that each have to pass. For learning and for excursions this hostel is ideal. Only young people, modern decor and in the (little) room everything you need. The pool of each house is on the about a 30 - 50 meters high roof and is the highlight. Ideal for Spanish and for longer ... time cheap in Barcelona. read more
