At the end it is the little things, the a 5 star hotel a real luxury hotel make. The ritz unfortunately not is convincing. Front desk, lobby, etc. Really nice, friendly and accommodating. First disillusionment then in the room - was booked Ocean View, balcony. Balcony yes, Ocean View - not really, at least i still consider that a palmenwald not as ocean. Thus complained and after 2 hours (and 2 time) then a room according to the booking.
As regards the facilities can you basically not complain, everything there that you need and also things, which one perhaps definitely ... not needs. But also the details: unclean authorised tiles, rust spots and on the balcony it looked rather worn. A hotel in the price range so what didn't happen.
The area in South Beach is simply nicer, art deco district within walking distance as well as the Ocean Drive. Food, drink, shopping and party-make is everything is close by. Only good restaurants with a better price-performance ratio (Ocean Drive is still very touristy ), like for instance the houston's chain are rather further away.
All in all the hotel you can absolutely recommend (it is still only details, the do not fit), but you should take a closer look, if you another hotel the great finds. Of which there were many. read more

Proper hotel in a wonderful location in the first row the beautiful South Beach from Miami. Right at the Lincoln Road and in a great location for shopping, night life, restaurants and bars. The perfect location shares the hotel however with neighboring hotels, the partly much nicer, exclusive and exceptional than the somewhat angestaubt depicting ritz carton with the little welcoming lobby. But great breakfast, the you by the pool occupieth with very rich choice and very attentive staff, you may almost be inconvenienced while that can. Dinner is also by the pool and doesnt meet in quality and price ... the expectations of a hotel this class. Overall a very tidy hotel, the neighbouring luxury retreats regarding elegance and exclusivity although not quite can match. read more

To our 4. Stay this ritz I must unfortunately see, that the hotel any gloss lost. At the check-in you can get no drinks more, in principle the staff is very superficially has become. It was just new carpet moved and a massive shelf with squeezed. No new technology or a more modern bathroom. The service during dinner at the restaurant by the ... pool or for breakfast was slow and completely understaffed. The bettenaufdeckservice comes in the afternoon at 17:00 o'clock. Me personally disturb also in a beach hotel the business meeting people. In the suit at the pool bar sit - well. Nice hotel directly on the Ocean Drive location. Everything was reasonable and we had an excellent vacation. Gladly come again! The only thing which I have to complain about is the parking fee the in my opinion was a bit expensive. read more

The hotel was very beautiful, lobby, restaurant, pool, service; everything perfect. The rooms were clean and functional. Our not too big and the equipment in the rooms getting a bit old. But nothing was broken or dirty. All in all we were very satisfied. read more

We had two rooms (a suite and a double room and arrived with five people at the check-in at 12:30 o 'clock man told us D rooms are cleaned and we could then check in!! You meant the then 16 o' clock have told us the same, we would have had the time on the beach! We travel a lot, but such a bad service mentality as in the restaurant we have ever experienced! Permanent changing staff and at least 20% when the tip is to feel! You get to the hotel, the light over the table was switched ... off or gooey cleared away! You get the feeling there are laboring people primarily just the dollar on the eyes! No thanks the hardware of the hotel is correct, even if in a home gym must be better placed, or a sauna actually standard should be! read more

At the end of our Autoreise of new England we flew to Miami. Since we were already once in Miami, I knew what location is important to me. The hotel is right in Lincoln Road, many restaurants, Ocean drive is a five-minute walk away-you are best of both worlds. We are in favor of 32 dollars from the airport to the hotel, I am not worried about bus, since it is uncomplicated. We ate entirely outside. The hotel wasn't't fully booked, so it was pleasant by the pool, as well as on the beach. Service is typically American and good. ... But for a five stars hotel standard. The room itself did not please us, because our balcony directly over the kitchen exhaust hood was. The quality of the pool was very short, but an odyssey through the hotel. We also had the feeling, that we were the only guests, which were in the ground floor were accommodated. We paid 280 EUR for the room, and would have expected for this reason a Andes room. But the hotel itself is highly recommended. Tip: the hotel lion is right next door, and is recommended by guide books. I would stay there next time. read more

The hotel is in good condition and met the expectations of a five stars hotel. The location is also very Central. The rooms are large and spacious. The rooms the furniture was older but nothing broken and everything was clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet rich and very good. Since we only ate out, we can on the lunch or dinner say anything, but from other guests hear that it can be. We can only recommend the hotel and we hope soon to guest be again there be able to. read more

It was a very nice holiday, perfect location. Due to the proximity of the ocean drive was always on offer. We had booked on a room only basis. The staff are very friendly, we could even a late check-out without extra charge to use (we didn't have a flight until around 20:45). Even if you can, check out the pool, beach etc. use, you get an extra map for an order Restroom before the flight to showers and so again, this is of course free of charge. read more

This luxury hotel you should allow yourself. It is right on the beach and the shopping street "Lincoln Road" with its numerous shops and restaurants. The Ocean Drive it is a few minutes walk along the beach. The price level in hotel is high - but hey your not on a budget. We will come back again. read more

The Ritz was ok, but did not leave bowled over. sooo plush and exceptionally like one of the other reviews, it was from our point of view. The room was a good size and furnishings, cleanliness but could improve (very dusty, dirty bath, hair from the previous guests). Well, expect in a 5 star hotel we more hygiene and one's nitpicking. But for our short stay it was ok, since most of the time outdoors. Lincoln Road with its many shops and restaurants, we much better than the Collins Avenue. We found it more comfortable. There is a restaurant on ... Ocean Drive to the other (from cheap to very expensive everything was there). We always have breakfast at "La Provence bought the American stuff like. 23rd floor provided great views) there is a grocery store (right on the corner, the 24 hour. Open. The access to the beach is easy and close. Beach chairs are sufficiently available, shade was didn't exist though. If you don't want to should just frizzle at home in the sun, you can rent an umbrella for $20 (no matter how long). A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs $32. Excursions in the surroundings of different operators (e.g. B. To Orlando, on the Bahamas, etc. ). Mainly Spanish reoriented next to English spoken. read more

This hotel has really everything that your heart desired, especially the service is absolutely top quality. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean and well appointed, but a little sound-proofed. The hotel is located on a prime location directly on the sea, but even in the midst of the "life" of Miami Beach. The Lincoln Road offers everything for shopping and eating. read more
