We had a junior suite with a balcony, clean and tastefully decorated. In the bathroom there was a shower and a bath tub with jacuzzi. The air conditioning we have for sleeping not used, was a bit noisy. Mini bar was always filled up.

The food was very diverse. There were theme nights in the restaurants, you could but also in the A-la -Arte-restaurant delicious food. Is very recommendable the japanese, with show cooking.

The staff was friendly and attentive, but never obtrusive. With a bit of English-knowledge could one well inform oneself.

The pool area is huge and you can always find a beach chair also in the shade. The pools and in very good condition and were regularly cleaned.

We were for the first time in Mexico. The hotel has uS in all points and convinced lives up to 5 star rating. Impressive is the massive tropical garden with many free-range animals (coatis, raccoons, lizards and so on), the a very well-kept impression makes.

The hotel is directly at the beach, the clean and tidy is. You can free of charge with the catamaran, pedal boats and canoe go. To Playa del Carmen for shopping one drives about half an hour with the shuttle bus-bus for 35 Peso per person. We had a 2 -daytrip after merida, uxmal, izamal and zone of chichen-itza booked, in which you a lot about the Maya experiences.

In the bathroom should be a thorough cleaning of the floor show. It was wiped every day, but with the time, but the dirt in the joints of the tiles from (times toilet paper got wet and the tiles risks-the paper was black). The staff has but the hands of work and for such wall not any time. The air conditioning has somehow musty smell. We have therefore never turned on. The system would have since checked and cleaned. The furniture is run-down and should urgently be replaced ( definitely not more 5-star standard). Mattress of the bed was excellent. Size of the room was more than enough. In the bathroom are toilet paper holder and toilet brush broken and rusty. Shower was clean. Since the tiles not up to the ceiling and no window in the bathroom can be opened is a bit mold over the shower on the wall.

Food was really good. Selection was always very big and it was again and again refilled. What we noticed, there is only fillets of fish in sauces or huge fish, from which you a piece of has declined. But unfortunately never fish the on the whole grilled in size a dorade or so in about. The water has most of the time chlorine tasty and we didn't manage this drink. Only in the minibar ppo daily water also drinkable was.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The service in the restaurants was also completely reasonable. The cleaning of the rooms was cleaned every day and we always had a nice figure on the bed..

Chairs were always abundant at the beach as well as by the pool. Animation offers there was enough. And every evening a entertaining show. The loungers on addult were especially good, but unfortunately partly already broken, and the repairs it was also not far. At the main pool was the first days the music terribly noisy. Probably have guests over the volume weighted, the volume was suddenly reduced significantly. The adult pools was only in low lautstärk 'treated to music'. However have sometimes guests the private radios and in full volume turned up (in addition to the official 'speaker sounds'). This was by the staff also not forbidden.

Unfortunately bad hotel management. I find it really hard this hotel to evaluate, as i only criticism of the hotel management can attach. And there are unfortunately no own rubik with holiday check. We were already in the dominican republic at the grand palladium babaro. For this reason we have made a conscious decision to this hotel decided. It is the same nice hotel, no large hotel complex, but smaller ' villas ', friendly staff and great service. Only the guests i partly to be desired, and it is through the managemenbt nothing against done. Men naked torso evenings at the lobby bar, men with caps on the head in the à-la-carte -restaurants and americans, the at the bars with thermogefäßen (like small bierfächens look), half liters and liter way whisky and cocktails bottling leave them on and in the pool to consume. Have lunch was a screaming at the pools and at the beach since the alkoholspiegel already quite high. In the afternoon was for a few hour peace, they slept around evenings again to be prepared. It is in the buffet restaurants no dress code! Only evenings the men t-shirts or shirts, with short sleeves. Accordingly was the clothes partly. Sweaty sportswear, women in clothing not times the a... Bake covered. Exactly short shorts. Men in sloppily shorts and t-shirts. Especially popular the hotel is with youth groups, the all spanish spoken have. In the morning still alcohol for breakfast came, got 2 bottles of sparkling wine at the table in/out privileges, the singing and roared have. These groups were observed by the staff, intervened was however not. Shortly before our departure seemed to a travel group of 200! Young spanish arrived. You can imagine what was going on in this hotel. Unfortunately there is also a bar on the beach which 24 hours on day hours-and our villa was unfortunately not very far from the beach section away. Almost any night between 04:30 a. m. and 06:00 a. m. moved various drunk, bawling groups at our villa past. For people with light sleep terrible. I am unfortunately also. We have with other guests spoken. We were all agreed, that the beach bar not 24 hours open should be, the thermosfäser for filling the cocktails should be banned and the dress code should be appropriate. Not the now i misunderstand me, i expect definitely not suit and evening dress or cocktailkleider the women (that would be no vacation for me ), but just appropriate clothes for a 5 stars hotel. No guests the on the couch in the lobby place to sit and the feet on the tables or easy on the sofa like at home in front of the tv. The staff are very friendly and helpful and erfülltl the guests your wishes. In my opinion is here the management demanded, the staff statement to give to 8., that the people also the hotel standard accordingly behavior or dress (and not to be served). My daughter said completely spontaneous, if you hear, you thought yes, you were in a hostel before. Exactly was the behavior of the guests mostly.

Ds hotel was ideal for excursions. Right in the hotel entrance ( hotel kantenah) is a bus stop for the collektivos (buses of the locals). One goes simply out and all 5 to 10 minutes comes a bus over. You can wonderful go on excursions ( on your own). Shops in Playa del Carmen ( bus costs 30 pesos) and to Tulum also 30 pesos. Also a nice town and mayaruine Tulum was there too. Beach there is obviously at the hotel, unfortunately not for swimming, since the reef was near to the beach and access to the sea made difficult because of the rocks-but you already know that.

We had and the kantenah booked, were but immediately when checking in pointed out, that a junior suite with a view of the sea against small extra charge available is. Therefore we refer here to the junior suite in the Riviera area. Very spacious room with air-conditioning, Fan and a large bathroom with jacuzzi. Especially the jacuzzi was special after a long trip or excursion valuable services proven and we really relaxed. unfortunately there are however here a few the smaller and a large point of criticism, the in our opinion in a junior suite the price range not happened. first the smaller points of criticism: the mini bar was not every day filled, towels or bathrobes the soil for the change were thrown, are not renewed. The room was not every day cleaned, special the floor! Now the big point of criticism: as mentioned in the summary at the beginning: noise! In this complex the walls are very thin and to boot is everywhere Stone floors the noise still additional more. By the open architecture of the accommodations, it echoed quite powerful. Unfortunately, at the beginning of our second week of vacation plenty of teenagers to 100% on party apart in our House/floor smoothly. Sleeping was from this time not longer think. Instructions or complaints regarding that in the front desk but were taken care of immediately and a private employee was immediately skilled to sort it out. Awake but you nevertheless already. After consultation with many other guests is the problem with noise but apparently not an isolated incident. here could the hotel through very simple methods, own accommodation for groups of young people or the partly from carpets, improve clearly.

I think with the variety of restaurants and possibilities should something for everyone his. Because of the high number of restaurants is also available for enough variety catered for. In the buffet-style restaurant, there are every day theme nights, really sensational and authentic are the à-la-carte restaurants. Here we have the Japanese and Mexican restaurant and the steakhouse most visited and can unlimited recommend it. Great is especially, that at any time without reservation can go, only the steakhouse one must sometimes with longer waiting times count, but simply at the numerous bars can bridge, the real Highlights in the gastronomy are but the fish and seafood restaurant at the sea and the beach barbecue (only Friday). Here is in any case a reservation at the vortag necessary, for men in the à-la-carte restaurants long trousers!

Rarely one vacation with so great service experienced, no matter, whether at the front desk or in the numerous restaurants. The staff are always friendly, helpful and has always an smile on the lips. Which one only with tip get ahead, we can 't understand!

Sport possibilities more than enough, there was a private sport center in the area where you for example tennis, Basketball, Football, Archery, and so on can do. At the beach there is a private diving school (Scuba dive) with many sport possibilities. Especially good we liked, that many water sports activities as pedal boats, kayak, sailing, and so on are free. Snorkeling tours can also be booked here. entertainment and entertainment is not importunate and according to our observations the pool games very varied and amusing. especially we really liked the fact that to everyone time of day always free beach chairs available were and thus the annoying Handtuchbelegen not here experienced must be. Pool or the whole area are very clean! beach is very large and therefore very pleasant quiet and perfect for relaxing. Everywhere hang furthermore Hammocks the especially comfortable are. Swimming in the sea but should in any case only with bathing shoes or fins show as the reefs or rocks very quickly. To the snorkeling it is perfect and you can here lots of different fish. in the evening there are time-delayed 2 shows for a hotel complex very high quality and were partly really astonished have.

To be honest: we still have very rarely a really great hotel regarding service, pool/beach, gastronomy and location experienced. The junior suite we upgedradet was up to small faults top. Why, then, not the full score? Noise in the night! unfortunately were in our day very lots of groups of young people (students either from Spain or South America) present and we had the bad luck, that in the second week a great group next to US went smoothly was, A shame, because this noise reduces the apart from that perfect overall impression enormous! English are in any case condition. The nationalities in our day were mainly Americans, Canadians, Russians, English and guests from South America.

the hotel lies about 1 hour away from airport Cancun (with little traffic). The complex is huge, if you rotten is can one the paths by trolley or Golfcabs cover. We have the routes usually on foot reclined, of our suite were about 10 minutes to the beach or 10 to 20 minutes to the restaurants. Options for shopping there is nearby for example in Playa del Carmen, which by bus to 30 pesos/person in 20 minutes reachable is. Excursions are plentiful in the area on the tour operators or right in the hotel bookable. We have solely the chitchen Itza tour via hotel( recommendable nonetheless since even only by hired car simply reachable), Tulum without Reiseveranstaltet explored, since also easily accessible by bus to 30 Pesos reachable. especially we were impressed by the stunning flora and fauna in the area. I had a junior suite in the Riviera area booked. Room is big enough with a massive Bathroom including Jacuzzi. Both the rooms, as well as the public Areas are extremely clean. air conditioning works great. tv was unfortunately on arrival broken, but was quickly replaced.

There are very lots of different restaurants and bars, in the whole area are distributed. The buffet-style restaurant, with every day wechslende topics (Italian, Mexican, french...) The theme restaurants offer à la carte service: Chinese, Steakhouse, Brazilian, Italian, Mexican... In the theme restaurants you can at any time and without reservation. So you could every evening on the new Decide on which one has straight desire. the quality is excellent. And the choice is more than enough. All bars offer a massive Selection of cocktails, Long-and soft drinks. You are in bars (also on pool and beach) also at the table served.

the service is in all areas phenomenal. Even if you German criteria uses, one has here I think nothing to complain about. the staff are very friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. You meet in this massive complex constantly and everywhere staff and always greeted in a friendly manner.

There is a massive Sport and spa center, which has everything expectations fair. Spa treatment are from time to time but quite expensive. At the two main pool there are animation, some of which also quite loud can be. for those seeking tranquillity there are recreation and adult pools on the complex. Here is the access to guests over 18 years. You there but also seine peace and also own bars. Both in the sun, as well as in the shade are everywhere abundant.

the hotel normally makes a very good impression. It is a very big complex, the as already described from 4 areas. as a guest in one of these 4 areas, you can all other share. Separately, there is still the Royal Suites, the spatially easily separated beach chairs. This area is exclusively their guests reserved. the complex is quite large and depending on where one went, the paths rather be far away. The footpaths but are very nice and interesting. Many free-range Animals (turtles, Iguana , racoons, crocodiles, flamingos...)

the hotel lies beautiful on the coast, in the middle of tropical vegetation. the buildings are nice integrated into the landscape. The distance to the airport is relatively far. Depending on traffic and eventual Layovers one drives about 1a 2 hours.

our room in the house 60 was ideal, which the paths to the beach, pool or buffet restaurant regards. the room was huge, the bed as well. the furniture was reasonable, the TV not from the latest generation and the reception from' German wave tv' was more bad than good. the bathroom is also very big, a shower the loosely for 2 at the same time place offers and a Jacuzzi, which we however didn't use it. ( however we could the neighbors every day hear.) The mirror the bathroom had unfortunately already senile lentigo and the place to put the towel is rusting, but overall it was OK. Also the balcony offers enough space and with 2 chairs and a small stools furnished. the air conditioning is wonderful silent and we never in the lurch. The safe worked perfectly, the coffee machine we didn't try it.

On the first day we were only in the buffet restaurant in the field 'Riviera' and especially evenings we were a bit disappointed, because the dishes partly cold and dried out, and the buffet a little Großkantinencharakter had. Then we have the buffet in the 'colonial' for us have discovered, kind decorated and with hot, delicious Food (every evening a other Motto), and then evenings always go there. We also have the Mexican, the Italian and the Mediterranean à la Carte restaurant tried and was always very satisfied. there there is also German Menus, for us in any case advantageous. The cocktails at the various bars are very delicious and a huge selection.

All employees are very friendly, even if you daily give a tip. Spoke German however almost none, with English comes one well through and a little Spanish is helpful. the room is cleaned daily, towels and bed sheets changed according to desire. You can even under different pillows its selection meeting and map daily note, if something should be repaired (was however in 16 days never the case). Laundry service also works wonderful, has not even 24 hours lasted and noisy settlement of Visa card only 3 euros cost, although I with more predicted.

The music Music at the main pool was sometimes unpleasantly loud, the entertainment was absolutely unobstrusive. There were both at the beach, as well as by the pool always enough chairs, also in the shade. On very long beach there were only 2 smaller parts, where it was relatively easy barefoot into the water can go. apart from that are bathing shoes a must, we have some people evenings with bandagierten ankles seen and the entrance into the water of the many rocks and dead corals is really foolhardy. You can at the snorkeling nevertheless also a few Fish to see, however no one should be in a snorkel Experience as for example in Egypt expect.

very large all inclusive- hotel complex, surrounded from jungle and beach. The paths by the complex seem endless and some days we have at night often again the wrong path pursued. during the day you can with golf carts from the houses of lobby or by small railroad the 4 different lobbies drive, was we liked to use. lots of animals feel the resort exactly probably, as the numerous guests. all Facilities are very well maintained and clean, especially the spa area inclusive modern Fitness Studio. during our travels were the majority of the guests from Canada, USA, Mexico, some Russians, some englishmen, a couple of dutch people and much more German, as we had assumed. Meal gives it in different buffet-style restaurant (in the 'colonial' pleased us best) or absolutely recommendable à la carte restaurant (here was our favorite the Italians).

The resort is located ideal between Playa del Carmen and Tulum, with the in front of the hotel departing Collectivo's one comes wonderful (and cheap) to various sights or for shopping, according to your wishes. there is the possibility, in some shops in the hotel shopping and every evening build a few locals their stands in the hotel area on. however are the prices outside of the hotel of course, much lower.

For the rooms there is unfortunately only 4 suns. Here you can really looking for a comparison to 2008 star and represents feast, probably nothing at all happened. The rooms work has become very run down. The size was super. Jacuzzi in the bathroom is a very nice Highlight. Therefore 4 suns, I would otherwise only 3 give!

Top, top, top! There are 8 à la carte restaurant, the thoroughly can be used. We used very often. To the selection stand rodizio with the Brazilians, a Japanese, with show cooking, a Chinese, ribs & more, an Italian restaurant, a fish restaurant, a steakhouse (very delicious Steaks!) as well as a Mexican restaurant. We only ate twice in the buffet-style restaurant dining. But also here was the food as in the à la carte restaurant great! Very recommendable is the barbecue, which Friday at the beach the colonial is set up. This is free of charge, but you have the Thursday to log on. Small tip: here starts the early bird the worm ;-O

The staff were to at any time very friendly and helpful. We could in comparison to 2008 no difference (whether better or worse) note. The staff speaks too many English and of course Spanish. Or other even interest to learn German, which we always found very nice. Unhappy we were with the cleaning of the rooms. This has unfortunately not work at all. On the day of arrival we at 23:15 o'clock someone from housekeeping must order, so our bed changed is, as it was filthy. This was until 0 o'clock done. So if you like, with our complaint well handled and it was immediately taken care of. Also we asked then to a new, thorough cleaning of the room. This was the day to complete. I would like to emphasise, that we do not have 'sensitive' are, but we were not sure, whether the room at all new guests 'presented' was?!

The beach is great! The palm trees, the sun hats, the fine sandy beach... This is vacation! In the morning sweep many hard-working Helper on the beach and liberate the couches of sand, rooms the seaweed way and ensure, that the beach is so nice, as it is beautiful! The Pelicans are a special feature. At the beach are racoons, coatis to find. These we people become quite well trained and know, like you their feed are coming.

The hotel complex is a absolute dream. It is huge, the vegetation is beautiful and the beach leaves really quick vacation feeling arise. The vegetation is in comparison to 2008 very much greener and bewachsener, because of hurricane Wilma in 2007 but very much was destroyed. By the size of the area you can tell the lots of people not at all. By the all inclusiveServices you can everywhere feed and Drink-depending upon desire and mood. In our day were some German on the complex, some Americans and very lots of Spaniards.

Since the complex very big is the houses different a long way from the beach away. We were in the house 61 and were very happy with the location. The Riviera all houses are on sea location. However it is up to the fine sandigen beach a short walk cIRCA 3 to 6 minutes (depending on location of the house), since the Riviera on a steinküste is. But very, very nice. We would in no other complex live. In this steinküste is a salt water- pool recessed. A dream! Approximately 20 minutes on foot from the complex is Playa del Carmen. For shopping and strolling quite nice. Also Puerto Aventuras is nearby!
