I can't understand why all this hotel complain about. It is although already somewhat older however the rooms are massive and also the bathroom with jacuzzi in the standard room (bath tub with jacuzzi function ) the staff is always friendly and gives great atmosphere even if you not much understands. You got along with english relatively well. The guest relations manager speaks 7 languages including german and all problems solved immediately, or it is all tried to the problem to solve. I myself can really recommend the hotel. I will definitely during the next caracas stay book this hotel ... again. read more

Stayed in an apartment (the apartment towers are separate to the main building), these include a basic kitchenette which can be equipped on request to reception (providing a deposit). In general, while the hotel and apartments are comfortable, they are not well-maintained. Problems that can occur include lift service, internet (apartments need a modem, which may not be immediately available and don't work well, throughput is 100-200kb/s downlink), air-conditioning, etc. Guests are mostly business people, well-off tourists, and prominent guests including state visitors to Venezuela as well as rock groups. Security is increased substantially for state visits, though it's always ... friendly. Many military / political groups seem to be billeted at the hotel for long periods as well. read more
