Quiet on a long promenade. The suite we had bigger. Cleanliness of the hotel and suite was okay. Internet in the reception area for free, also at the terminal. Breakfast: well, if you like english breakfast is here in good hands. It was nothing for us. A week only croissants and sweet rolls with Nutella breakfast. No fresh squeezed juices, the canned fruit you should 5 stars save!

The 5. star rather with a zugedrückten eyes. We were for the first time in Madeira and this hotel on the edge from Funchal is recommendable. Before one the room the guest must, you should however the condition of the premises verify. The was not made. The toilet was quite loose and the soap holder in the shower hung on 'half 8.'. The are no serious flaws, but at 5 stars. We had room 1310 with a sea view, to the pool and on Funchal. The room, as well as the bathroom are ok the tv-device would not have ... old-fashioned can be. ZDF and ProSieben you could in german language welcome, otherwise many sending in other languages. In the room there was a kettle for coffee and tea, like even a fridge. Wi-fi was unfortunately for the room not available. In the lobby there are 2 pcs and if you're lucky, does the wi-fi connection. The chairs in front of the pc seemed from Kolumbus-times have to be; such durchgesessenen chairs-bad and unacceptable. The hotel offers a free daily pendulum bus to Funchal at. The hotel-own bus (55 seater) to to the harbor; thus very central. Between 09:05 a. m. and 6:05 p. m. every 45 minutes the last drive from Funchal back to the hotel goes at 18:30 o'clock.
The breakfast buffet was ok. The selection of sausage and cheese i found 'poor'. (always under the point of view of 5 stars!) The coffee was in excellent spirits all branded quality. The waiter is on every table a pot; so no self-service on a machines. Then there are a lot of breads and even a warm buffet. Everything very clean and tidy.
At the end the promenade (at the hotel exit turn left) there is a shopping center and at the roadside with a view of the sea are 3 really good restaurants. A pizzeria, a outstanding fish restaurant (many locals food here), as well as a mexican restaurant. We have all three restaurants tested - gladly anytime again. You go from the hotel right onto the street, then on the left hand side after 100 meters also 3-4 restaurants. And then there is still about 200-300 meters a shopping center. You are looking for a pub or a comfortable 'pub' in the immediate vicinity, so you will not find. read more

Very pleasant holiday in this hotel. Peaceful location, no waiting times for breakfast. Nice briefing by staff at the breakfast. Room were cleaned daily and vergbrauchte toiletries immediately refilled.
Since we almost every day rains had was the free bus to Funchal worth their weight in gold! Be careful with the visit the market hall in Funchal - on the first floor are the dealers on tourists, to these tidy with overpriced prices

We really liked the hotel. The staff are very friendly and able. At the front desk in our experience especially Mrs Carmina Mata for example with Directions helped. The room with side view of the sea was very good equipped and without some wear marks. Evenings were again all used towels for new exchanged and the beds turned down. The food was magnificent. Naturally the selection is not with a Turkish hotel with 500 guests comparable, since comparatively relatively few guests the dinner with had reserved.
The drive with a rental car in our experience first in view of the ... very urban environment a bit unsafe. However on the next day we have no problems more, the signage is on the island everywere very good.
The weather was actually quite good: always warm. In the mountains however often thick fog and rain. In the afternoon we could but always with a lot of sun in the garden at the pools sunbathing. The pool area is lovely, the sea water crystal clear, the condition the entire outdoor area excellent.
Especially good the paradisiac tropical garden directly next to the hotel pleased, he belongs to the magic sports Club (no entrance fee!). There was actually still nicer than in the Monte Tropical garden. read more

Wonderful hotel in a great location very well equipped. The rooms, as well as the room service are 5 stars. For breakfast whereas you felt like being in the discount store at the cash register. Partly waiting times in a line of 15 to 20 minutes until one finally a table (a disaster).
The chairs at the pool were partly broken. At the front desk it was like it everywhere is, mainly motivated and very qualified forces whose overall impression by one of their colleagues marred, since this us only wrong information was.

We felt the hotel selected, since us the location liked, not included in the absolute center the hotel-area, but options for shopping, eat out.
We had in the hotel only booked breakfast, which for us it was optimal, therefore we could food when we wanted and where we wanted, as we for seven days a hired car had, on foot you can also reach very good and beautiful pub, directly in hotel proximity gives it also restaurants. The room is nice and big, the tv worked, bathroom top. The carpet in the room is sometimes with small stains, but not so wildly, I run in foreign rooms not barefoot rum and thus half so wildly, otherwise have carpets the advantage, silencing to be. So we had a quiet and relaxing vacation.
Since we didn't the entire day at the pool spent, often so occasionally were there, we found it two loungers. The garden is not huge, but sufficient and beautifully laid out and well-kept.

Great seaside location, friendly staff, beautiful pool area, beautiful indoor pool special.
