Without instruction the front desk we were for 2 nights' down-gegradet ', although one us at the check-in a upgrade promised. This room was no more than hostel-style but it's extremely expensive! The quality of the bathroom with a star hotel comparable: cheap, with poor materials made. We had 2 times the room should change until we in the us promised room had to reach can. Value for money of the hotel does not fit in at all! The staff has us about the quality of the room furnishings and availability really lied to. The service in the hotel was ... really bad, you never had the feeling, that you cares for the guests or mistake good to make would like. The staff were almost exclusively temporary workers/students without experience, from which you to communicate is, although these siezt. Some do not speak times english. The service in the restaurant was a total chaos. Every day, there were dozens of complaints from other guests at the front desk, in the restaurant and in the spa area! The direction in the hotel was never found. The guest book after 2 days taken, since this is in accordance with complaints without limits filled. And so on
Summary: a big disappointment and an isolence with guests to deal! read more

Rooms are all newly renovated and tasted very nicely furnished! The staff are still very young and very nice and courteous. All the staff work very hard, we would come back any time this hotel select. You can the car free of charge in front of the hotel guest parking, the staff has even without being asked the slices of our vehicle cleaned. The hotel is very central, one runs about 10 minutes to the city center. read more

The very friendly and helpful staff at the reception left immediately lit holiday feeling arise. The rooms in the new part are equipped with such pleasant mattresses, that even me as early risers to leave the bed to leave. read more

The location of the hotel, perfect! Nestled in the wonderful kitzbühltal, not far to the center and pleasant to walk.
Size of the rooms very nice! Super comfortably furnished bergstylish with a refined designhauch mistake... So comfortable!
Cleanliness... A clear 1+
Breakfast... Legendary! Selection very canceled and plentiful.

We had over an action a cheap weekend package (Friday - Sunday) and were really amazed.
First we should, in the old building but by a friendly conversation at the front desk we were a room in the new building offered. This was larger than the building, with this room also not bad but it had no balcony. The staff were nice and accommodating and the food and drinks first class. At lunch there was a small snack to eat and you could get on the basket serve.
On saturday we used the fitness room and the small but fine ... sauna area with the bathing sea from. It was pure relaxation! At the breakfast buffet there was something for everyone and a chef prepared fresh fried eggs and other dishes on request to. In the evening we had a permanent table and for breakfast free choice.
A train noise we could not and the rooms were clean and very nicely furnished.
The hotel lies almost in the center and you can Kitzbühel on foot explore. Free parking are available.
This we can definitely recommend the hotel and look forward to seeing you. read more

Nice designed room, unfortunately very poor mattresses. The cheapest quality from IKEA. For 4 stars one expected more. ;-)
Very nice, modern wellness area with pleasant staff.
Super good breakfast buffet.
Unfortunately because of the bad quality the mattresses and poor sleep we will not come again. read more

Accommodation in the new building, although old building. Very friendly Receptionist. Room service and waiter in the restaurant very friendly. Breakfast and dinner great. Location town center right at the train station. Although I 30 minutes too early the sauna wanted, was immediately in the short term the sauna, the staff forgive yourself (unfounded), because was yes to me. read more

The new construction is nice and adequate. The service is rather bad, we have for example one evening glasses from the bar to your room, which up to our check out still on the same capacity stood. The front desk is more than miserable, no 'welcome', not a 'good morning', not a ' good ABend'. Simply bad. In the women the front desk, as well as when the boss of the house one notices immediately that it's not very motivated to work. We had a problem with the parking but the boss us with extremely unfriendly art hasseled about. The ... parking garage cost 7 euros per day one comes however not with large car' s and ski box inside. Family friendliness is very last place, our kids were constantly with mean Look 'punished' there is no game possibility for the kids, not times during dinner there is a children's menu. The breakfast was sufficient but also nothing especially, also here was the omelets the chef contrary to. No smaltalk of the staff. In this hotel should friendliness not really expect much. Stay away from this hotel! read more

We were in the new building. Big room with a view of the river. The bathroom was also relatively large and clean. But: very, very unfriendly. We drive definitely not more to the hotel, thanks to the' very friendly' Receptionist! No good morning, no good day. Recommend the hotel definitely not further! read more

To the positive:
The food in the hotel ASTORIA was very good.
The mostly foreign staff was nice, friendly and fast.
At the wellness area in the new building there was nothing to criticize.
The negative:
After arrival in the hotel we got on the third floor (room number 301) in not renovated building the 'last Zimmerloch ' assigned. In this tiny room we could us hardly turn, as' box ' would be us skiing vacations with appropriate luggage only a small Wandverschlag' available confessed. In the tiny bathroom there was no shower, but a bath tub, in which you ... because of the pitch not stand could.
Because of my complaint we were on the same floor the room 310 in viewing the Bahnhofparkplatz assigned.
This room was slightly bigger and as far as clean, but:
In the double bed there were 2 ancient and run through, feather beds. The sleeping was poor, the get up in the morning because of strong backache even worse.
The only thing windows was ancient, not soundproof and leaky. Between the two windowpanes formed each night a thick layer of ice. The noise from the bahnhofstrasse from the Schneeräumgeräten on Monday morning and in the Tuesday morning because of the Schneefalles and the driving by Motor vehicles was extremely strong. From about 05:00 A. M. Was at the sleep longer think. In this building there is a lift, built in 1955!
Accordingly old are therefore also the windows.
Apart from the lack of soundproofing in the window the heat loss frightening be.
The television from the bed on the approximately 4 meters far away, on the ceiling hanging, ancient Fernsehportable ( screen diagonal 36 centimeters!) was an impertinence and without binoculars, which we unfortunately had not, hardly possible.

When our second stay in Astoria we were very disappointed over the room. Regretably the room on the third floor the old building never a 4 star level (also other guests were this opinion). In the bathroom could a person hardly is possible, to the toilet to to get to the door vorbeischlängeln -for bigger guests a impossible Venture! On worst however was the kind you use when-every move caused loud creak of the chair, in undisturbed sleep was not to think. Immediate before the balcony was the massive extractor fan, by 5 o'clock in the morning until 22 hours ... loud buzz of was-it was our sleep very affected. The TV had old age and pocket size. It is a great shame, that after the good impression when our first stay in the new building this hotel is a bad impression outweighs. It is not too understand, in one and the same hotel, if such large differences in the quality of the room! read more

had actually a double room booked, however then an upgrade to a suite, the suite was very nice and especially large! The breakfast was very good and there was enough selection. The staff in the hotel were all really very friendly and hard-working. The hotel is located directly opposite of the train station, in five minutes the center with the taxi reached( on foot it is however also possible ), where some options for shopping. The ski slopes are only 5 minutes. Under the week evenings not so much going on in the bars, the waiter said only around midnight ... it would then correctly. The discos however only at the weekend open. Everything in which it a great stay in Kitzbühel! read more

Have a room in the 'dachboden' (room 304) get. After asking for a other room we got at the front desk the answer, that the hotel is booked.
Attic room you could not hotel room designate, rather than birdcage, since the window not isolated (old window) and not very geriegelt could be. The soil knarrte, tv has the size a book and to bed you had to 'on all fours ', there the room a slanted wall had. The bathroom couldn't be used, the shower no curtain had (otherwise would be the room underwater confessed) and the toilet up to ... 20 centimeter on the opposite wall attached, so that maximum stand on the toilet to go could. Have toilet and bath in the basement (spa area) use it. read more

We have the hotel looking forward to it, since the pictures really nice looked like. Locally then exactly the opposite, we were in the adjoining building of the astoria went smoothly. This really was a horror, while we the exterior modern rooms could see, had we problems our floor to enter. The beams fought with every step, so that sleeping was really very difficult. Our clothes we could first unfortunately not in the closet, since this already months not been cleaned. As my 11-year old son (flyweight) to the bed began, dropped unfortunately very deep, the hoteltechniker the broken Latte ... but 'expert' with tape repaired, as many other slats in this bed. The bathroom with every duschgang flooded. The tv was just as big as a book. To our complaints one reacted not at all, one deseamed only once by (on the 2. day). A different room you could unfortunately not offer, because the hotel was overbooked. The receptionist gave us only the instruction it would be just the streitzimmer of the hotel and there is often trouble.
For this price-performance ratio one must unfortunately state, that we have never had such a bad room had pensions and three stars houses offer more comfort and cost 1/3 less. read more

All the great food and very recommendable, please only book the Annex, with a view of the mountain. Restaurant is excellent, rooms are large and very clean. Widbach outside the window was very reassuring and not too loud. read more

Very nice hotel, staff very friendly, downtown is ten minutes walk. Nice big room only one mini is missing. Bathroom was very nicely decorated. Excursion possibilities with the car very easy walking distance. Wellness area is small, but nice The only drawback is no pool.
The holiday was unfortunately too short, but we'll be back. read more
